What a place. Clearly a trendy spot given the look and vibe of the people who kept filing in, but not limited to them either. There was a really nice and diverse lunch crowd too. It's got a modern, eco-industrial-forest scene happening. Pretty cool. It's like finding a trendy cocktail bar in the middle of a hike. Trees and trinken. Bäume und beverages. Service is fantastic. If anyone follows me on Yelp they know I am a burger lover. And on my visit in Münster I wanted to see how the burgers were. I knew I loved Hans Im Glück in Cologne but I wanted to see how it would compare to the one in Münster. The seating outside is nice and there are plenty of tables. It was very crowded there so we had to sit outside. Which was good and bad. It was cold but luckily they had blankets and candles which helped a little. It was good because it was soooo warm inside and the music was just way too loud. I ordered my go to which is Geissbock and a Pound of sweet potato fries. The burger is so good with the bacon, fig, onion, feta cheese. Just goes so well together. And the sweet potato fries were also very good. You get a special dipping sauce and we tried the Avocado which was good but didn't go so well with the fries. Great burger place! read more

Visited this place on my trip to Germany and I loved it! First let's start with the ambiance..it's such a cool, cute place. You walk into a forest of leafless trees surrounded by dim lights. In the back is a wishing well ( I wish to go back lol). Ok now the food. This place is English friendly and they have an English menu. I got the chicken burger with side salad. Soo good! The chicken was nice and juicy and the salad was nice and fresh. We got a French fries basket for the table that came with a gargonzola dipping sauce and it was amazing. We went around the table sampling each other's food and everything was great. Not one complaint from the table. I got the lunch special and my meal came with a beer and expresso after the meal. What a good deal. I would love to go back even if I have to hop on a plane to Germany to go back lol read more

I can't say enough good things about Hans Im Glück. The fairytale brand's story, interior space, cocktails, healthy burgers and to-die-for yummy salads are out of this world. So good in fact I find myself coming back again and again for lunch AND dinner throughout the week. All dishes are reasonably priced and designed to perfection. Quite the positive experience overall with little room left for improvements. This Burger-Bar franchise has been quite popular and succesful in recent years and it's easy to see why. Nice interior, a good comprehensive strategy for dealing with allergies and other 'fussy eaters', nice drinks - and the food everyone wants right now - Burgers, in lots and lots of variations. And speaking of Burgers - the one I had was alright. The Bun was good, the salad fresh, the sauce tasty and plenty ... just the beef let the sight down a bit. It could not only have used more seasoning, it was also dry. So the key ingredient for a Hamburger was not up for par and I still give them 4 Stars? The sweet potato fries I had were really good, the sauces on the table excellent and imaginative (orange mustard - yum!), my drink was also nice and the service was friendly and reasonably quick by german standarts. Hans Im Glück is a pretty good spot for burgers. The interior is really cool, you feel like you're walking through a jungle! It's a little more on the pricey side, but it is right in the middle of Münster, so that's understandable. In terms of the food, I've only tried the burgers there (which is what they're known for.) Die Burgers are ok. Not more, not less. But the people at Hans Im Glück did not understand the concept of burger sauces. No matter what you order, you get the house sauce on your burger ON TOP. That is nonsense. Also, the fries were really bad when we went there. Not crispy at all, like a regular potato in fry shape. Don't know a better place in Münster so I recommend to do it yourself. Making decent burgers isn't that hard. One could think. read more
