I have given her a range of items way too small and huge to alter and she makes them look like they were made for my body. I recently bought a pair of pants that were 4 inches too small around the waist and brought her supplemental fabric that does not even look like the pants... she not only added the fabric to fit me, she also camouflaged the entire alteration so you couldn't even see that it was not original!!!! She is also so very friendly and personable. I experienced a very unexpected death in my immediate family and had nothing to wear. I was so overwhelmed with coming to terms with it surrounded by family that I had to find a dress two days before the funeral. I found one that was a mess: too long in shoulders and too big around the top and waist, but fit in the hips. With tears, I asked if there was any way she could work a miracle for the funeral. She didn't even flinch when she said 'absolutely don't worry about it at all'. She, once again, worked a miracle for me and had it perfectly fitted in no time. I would say for sure I highly recommend her. She especially has had issues with business during the pandemic and I have done my part by bringing her weekly items. Please do the same!

When she went to pick the dress up and put it on , she immediately noticed that the right side had. Yellowing on the dress. She pointed it out to the people at the shop and there reply was idk , don't understand what you're saying . Thats not an acceptable response for ruining her dress. She immediately took the dress to the dry cleaners next door to see if they could clean it . After picking the dress up she found out that the yellow marks didn't come out. At this point I went to alteration shop to confront them. First they tried saying that I brought them a dirty used dress. Absolutely not I said. Handed them the receipt showing them that dress was brand new. They had my daughter's dress for almost 60 days . During this time something happened to it ? They offered me $50 which was an insult . After multiple visits they actually came up to offering $1300. I refused that was not going to replace the dress they ruined. They said come back next week we see about fixing the dress. When we came back another employee that actually altered the dress said I no alter where the damage is so we not responsible. Totally unacceptable. After taking dress to multiple people for there opinions on what might of happened, there opinions varied from excessive heat from either steaming or pressing to something spilt on the dress and bad attempt at cleaning. The lady at Alterations's shop says I really sorry I not take in any more wedding dresses. This not ever happen before . After researching there revJews I discovered that this not the first wedding dress they ruined. As well as prom dresses . This place should not be allowed to continue to ruin people special days. I hope this review finds anyone that is considering using there services. At this point I've already purchased a new dress for my daughter. I refuse to let there incompetence ruin her special day. They obviously have no conscious. I am pursuing this issue in court to recover the cost of the dress they ruined plus cost of alteratoons. Will update with results after court . Here's some background: I love Johnny Was. It is my favorite brand. I don't buy it often because it is expensive, but I scour for sales, and I always end up getting 1-2 pieces per year. This year, so far, I have bought four pieces because sales have been insane. I bought an amazing dress on sale from Neiman's online this spring, but it was a full size too big and way too long. I needed several changes: the arms shortened, the whole bottom shortened (but replaced with the original bottom piece because of the way the dress kicks out at the bottom) and it needed to be taken in everywhere. Natalie came to the house, and as she was pinning, I started to realize what an undertaking it would be. The end result is phenomenal. I love it even more than I thought I would. I think my favorite thing is that she added a drawstring so I can tighten it at the waist. Even after spending hours on my dress, she took the time to add a wonderful detail: to the ends of the drawstrings, she added some of the embroidery from what she had taken off. It was some absolutely amazing attention to detail and I was so thankful for the time she put in overall. I found the pricing and turnaround time both incredibly reasonable for what I needed done. I also appreciate Natalie for being so patient with my daughter (an extra extrovert who never gets to see humans anymore). Natalie was so attentive to and patient with her, even though it is not in the job description to dote on wordy four year olds. I know everyone always wants Laura, but Natalie is amazing. I will request her from now on because she is so talented.

I had a nightmare of a time getting my usual tailor to even return a week of calls so, at the last minute I needed a rescue and SIR CHARLES was that person. He was AMAZING!!! If you need anything tailored, zipper fixed, letting out seams, etc anything give him a call. I like having my ducks in a row so when one goes running off I'm glad to know I can call SIR CHARLES.
