The food here does not taste authentic at all. We got the "bun cha ha noi" and "pho thap cam". Both tasted like it was microwaved. The vermicelli was mushy and had a weird smell. Food was okay... save yourself the trouble and don't buy their "bottled water". The bottles are re-filled with tap water. The first bottle received had cilantro on the inside cap which I though was very odd. I notified the server and he bought be a new bottle CAP... I insisted on a new bottle so she brings me another "sealed bottle". Upon removing the cap, I see old residue from being used on the mouth of the bottle... water tastes worse then bottle water from the store. Also the label on the bottle is peeling off from being re-filled so many times. Very dishonest. Edit: They probably but 100 new caps from amazon for $15 and sell them for $2 each... rip off, please do buisness right. read more

Seems to be Chinese owned instead of Vietnamese, but they sure got the taste right. The broth was a little lighter than what I'm used to back at home, but it was just what I needed. Sure, I'm on vacation in Italy, but when you're raised in an asian household and live in a predominantly east/southeast asian community, there's only so much heavy european cuisine you can handle before your body starts rejecting its very existence. I just had plain old pho with beef balls. The rolls looked tasty, but they'll have to wait for the next time I'm here. Are the noodles typically thicker on this side of the planet? I'm not complaining, it was still great. I ended up finishing it all, broth included. Kinda wish I got a large, definitely could've finished that off too. I really enjoyed my meal here! The atmosphere is inviting and they have Vietnamese TV/music on which is fun! The food was good! I ordered the springs rolls and while they weren't really what I expected they were good. The summer rolls were also good, but one half of my roll fell apart and that was a bit annoying because it made it basically impossible to eat with the sauce. The pho was good, although the broth could be a little stronger for me. My boyfriend had a chicken noodle dish which was good and then some sort of fried pork which was AMAZING. Good restaurant Typycal vietnam style. Very simply and easy To enjoy absolutely the soup. Service very fast also on saturday evening. Absolutely suggested to enjoy something different. This is probably the most legit vietnamese food in Milan although it seems like the owners are Chinese. The food is decent and the prices are on point. Apparently, I was corrected by a commenter on yelp that the owners are Vietnamese. Couldn't tell, didn't talk to them. Wasn't sure because everything on the menu is also written in Chinese, but the Vietnamese words don't have accents on them, which is usually a warning sign to be skeptical. read more

Lovely place with great food! We had dumplings with meat as a starter, Bun Bo Nam Bo and Beef in sauce and vegetables plus steamed rice. Tasted like being in Vietnam! Would definitely come here again - friendly staff and served us pretty late which was not a problem. read more

Came here for an early dinner so the restaurant was empty. The waitress was slow to take our order but the food came out relatively quickly. I ordered the pho with beef slices and beef meatballs. The beef slices were tender and meatballs on point. The beef broth was made well and but not as good as what you can get in California, USA. Found these lightly fried mantis shrimp, spotted crab and conches which brought back memories of eating these on the beaches in Vietnam. Flavor was good but the seafood's not that fresh, likely from frozen. The pho could use more flavoring but served it's job when we were craving for pho in Europe. I got by with my Mandarin rather than my husband's Vietnamese (don't think they speak it here). read more

Stopped here for one night. I ate alone. The service is terrible, I waited 25 minutes after my food for them to ask me "do I want a dessert". The beef pho was great but too much broth, not enough noodles and beef. The summer rolls are delicious but ask for two sides of peanut sauce, you'll run out! This is not authentic Vietnamese food. The Pho was ok but the Bun I ordered was more like stir fried noodles with more of a Chinese taste. Not good. So, finally, I can eat a decent pho soup in Milan! This little place next to Chinatown's main street is just what me and a group of Yelpers needed on a rainy spring evening: good food, decent prices, nice service and friendly atmosphere. Probably our table layout wasn't the best since we were divided in two tables (we were 16 and the restaurant is not really big so they did the best they could to accommodate us) and the girls yelling in the next table were a bit distracting but it's not the restaurant's fault if customers are cuckoo. Luckily they left when we started eating so we could carry on with our dinner in a more relaxed atmosphere. The food was good, probably the highlight in my case were the vietnamese rolls, both fried and classic, and the pho bo which was exactly as I expected: hot, with soft rice noodles and a side dish with the sprouts, coriander, lemon (I would have preferred lime) and red chili peppers. Then the beef with lemongrass (probably the least tasty) and ended the meal with the Vietnamese coffee which has a nice sweet flavor. From what I saw in the others' plates everything looked yummy, especially the DIY fish rolls that the waitress kindly showed my friends how to roll and my husband's snails with coconut sauce with a really spicy red sauce on the side. My total was of about 20 euro including a bottle of Chinese beer for a good and hearty dinner, I'll definitely come back to try more items on the menu and I'm sure the fifth star will come then. Ps. I was in Milano looking for a very good Vietnamese restaurants and I found Hanoi the current business name on yelp is in correct Hanoi is the current name of this Resturant. This place is very clean, the service was great and for the food is exceptionally good. The soup broth was so flavorful and the spring rolls I highly recommend they're really good. When I'm back in Milan on business I would definitely come back here to get my Vietnamese food. read more

My friend and I, both tourists, were craving Vietnamese food something wicked after our 3rd day in Italy. We randomly yelped this and took the metro some 45 mins later to find this Asian gem. It was definitely worth getting lost in Italy. The food is inexpensive, fresh and delicious. For both of us Vnese girls, this place hit the spot. We ordered 8 dishes between the 2 of us. The shrimp wrapped in vermicelli is not to be missed. We had pho, snails, mussels, steamed vegetables, eggrolls, and tapioca dessert. It was among my best meals in Italy! The pho noodles were actually similar tagliatelle and tasted sooo fresh! If this was the adaptation to Italian Influence it did not go unnoticed. This wasn't the best beef Pho ever, but we enjoyed it. However the service was pretty slow considering the fact there were only few guests. Interior looks pretty cheap and old looking. I bet there are better places around this area. read more
