We ordered almost $600 of flowers for a funeral. They didn't arrive, and after calling, I learned the order was lost. After describing in detail what we ordered, they threw something together that was delivered 30 minutes after the service started. The arrangements were mostly greens with a few carnations and roses: nothing like the picture I provided. Very disappointing when you are a trying to support a local business. read more

Sadly I have never met them, however they are very easy to work with. I arranged rose petals to be delivered to a hotel so the hotel could spread them for me and Hanna's was so friendly, great pricing and even had me buy LESS than what I originally thought saying it would be enough (and it was!). My proposal went perfect, the resort was perfect at spreading them and Hannas did a perfect job of picking the petals and delivering them. read more

I ordered online for my parents 50th anniversary. I loved the white roses. Hannah's apparently swapped out the roses for daisies! I would understand if they didn't have white roses to swap for red, but at least use an equal flower. I paid $48 and got a $25 arrangement. The bouquet is pretty, just not what I ordered or expected. And to top it off they delivered on the wrong day! I think I'll try a different florist next time. read more

I would not recommend this business at all. I live out of state and ordered flowers for my parents' grave. I told her how much I wanted to spend and she charged me $15 over that amount. Couldn't even send me a picture so really I don't know if the flowers got there or not. read more

I ordered a beautiful arrangement for my mothers 90th birthday that cost me $70+ tax and delivery amounting to over $80. The arrangement she received was a day late and awful. I understand they may need to substitute flowers but at least use ones that are not wilted. And don't send an arrangement half the size of what was ordered! There was more greenery than flowers for goodness sake! The bouquet isn't even pretty and my mom was very disappointed, especially after I sent her a picture of what it was suppose to look like. They did leave a box of chocolates at no cost because they were a day late Which she doesn't eat. She turned 90 and I said that when I order the flowers! How sad for her! Never again will I use this florist and I DO NOT RECOMMEND them! As far as I'm concerned they owe my mom a new bouquet!!! read more

Tammie, the owner of this family run business, made my flowers just perfectly. I am so glad I directly called her Floral shop instead of using an internet "middleman" website. The light lavender colors in the arrangement I chose, was made up exactly as I pictured it. Tammie conveyed the beauty I wanted to add to a very precious memorial, while also honoring the deceased as I hoped to do. When a national florist failed to deliver flowers the night before my brother's Celebration of Life event, Tammy created three exquisite Spring flower bouquets on a Friday evening and delivered within hours. First of all , it was very stormy and a dangerous drive that evening and it was an emergency order on a Friday night. I am so disappointed I placed an order thru Teleflora just like I do every year on July 31st for a very Special Lady to be delivered that day and here it is August 1st and they still haven't been delivered. When asked which florist I wanted to use I picked Hannah's but I will not do it again. I worked for Hannah's Florist when Mary Reeves owned it and trust me it wasn't ran this way. read more

Special Occasions did my wedding six years ago and the flowers THEN were gorgeous and the arrangement and design was fresh and inventive. The previous owner has since sold the shop and the arrangements are a bit tired and dull now. I also don't feel l get the value I used to get. I recently paid over $60 for what appeared to be about $35 worth of flowers. When I called to inquire, I was told that certain stems (that I didn't request) were very expensive, so I got my money's worth. I will never order flowers from this shop again. read more

Not what I expected at all. Disappointed. My family lives in Sherman and I don't any longer. Thus I have to rely on sites/ delivery services to sent them items. I was sending funeral flowers to the memorial. I had to rely on the picture from the site and the price to feel comfortable that I was sending something fairly significant without being over the top. I understand substitutions, but this was not the same color palate nor $150 worth of flowers. It looked like something you pick up at a grocery store. Very upset that there was color on the flowers at all. This is not a occasion where you get a do-over and they have lost a potentially lucrative customer. So beware of thinking that you get anything close to what you see. read more

My wife and I were trying to find a "local" florist in Sherman online, and we kept finding internet based call centers. We finally found Special Occasions, emailed them a picture of what arrangement we liked, and they created it almost identically. That's pretty good, considering the number of variables they had to work through. And the price was right on target! read more

Do NOT use this florist! I ordered a custom arrangement for a funeral and the didn't use ANY of the flowers I specified. (White Roses, White Carnations, Calla Lillies or White Gladiolas). All florists have at least ONE of these flowers in stock. Instead they used filler flowers of Mums, Oriental Lillies and some other flower that wasn't even white!) I was very specific when I asked that they call me if this was a problem for them, and didn't get a call at all. When I called to complain, they completely ignored me. I have NO intention of ever using them again, and I'll make sure that ALL my friends know this as well. In addition, I have filed a complaint with the BBB. read more
