Which sounds crazy but it is the truth. She lied about the pastor and the staff whom she only met once to ask him to make me move and calls everyone ignorant when she doesnt get her way. Clearly she has serious anger issues and needs Jesus. Today she blocked me in forcing me to contact the school to talk to her. I am glad her son is in 8th grade graduating so I dont have to deal with her next year. Being told you look 'great' then hearing the increasingly loud sound of laughing from the person. Boys crying because they got another detention. That's truly the Benicia Middle School Experience. I personally as someone who's gone here for 3 years have seen and heard horrible things. To start off, the locker rooms and P.E in general. The boys will quite regularly be forced to leave the locker rooms because ONE person was talking and be made to run around outside, with or without their shoes on. Which is extremely dangerous as there's small shards, coils, metal, sharp rocks, the such, on the ground outside on the blacktop, ive found them myself. Students become extra rude and judgmental during P.E and teachers choose to do nothing about it. Last school year Mr.Sindel got fired for the crime of liking little girls. This year the P.E teacher Mr.Holden replaced another P.E teacher. It is believed by me and my fellow students that Mr.Holdens continued absence for MONTHS now is because he was fired due to the same reasons as Mr.Sindel. I myself cannot say for sure this is true but considering the girls at the high school he worked at previously knew him to be creepy and a child-liker it seems fairly likely. The school is full of homophobic and transphobic students, that the school has never done anything about besides say that's bad. Other than that the boys at the school are all rowdy and mostly extremely rude and the teachers do nothing to help them improve as people and become better. They make you pay for WATER bottles at lunch or you just have to drink milk. I get there are water fountains but that's just crazy. I have learned close to NOTHING at this school. The passive aggressive teachers and auditory learning and reading EVERY assignment thing doesnt work for me personally. The teachers are extremely rude. One specific student tried to choke my friend, and punches and kicks and makes fun of my other friend. They pride themselves on being a place of inclusion and kindness but its really unsafe and uncomfy. The school though isn't the WORST place on Earth. Their words: students come in and "destroy everything." I didn't witness it myself, but the outcome is undeniable--a local business is shutting down during peak hours because of student behavior. That doesn't just reflect on the school. It speaks to a deeper lack of accountability--from leadership, and from parents. Kids don't act like this in a vacuum. This isn't about blaming teachers. But when behavior spills off campus and disrupts the community to this degree, something upstream is clearly failing. Right now, the surrounding neighborhood is left dealing with the consequences.
