Nick and his paralegal thoroughly explained the process and answered all of my questions in a timely manner which greatly eased the anxiety I had through this two year process. They also sent me reminders about updates as I do have some memory issues from my disability. Additionally, as our administrative hearing became closer they spent hours of their time working with me on prep. Thusly, I felt prepared when the hearing finally happened. Although I had pretty low chances of winning, due to being under 50 the finding was favorable, and I am unbelievably relieved. The intake specialist got all of my information down and was very friendly and empathetic. Jennica was my primary contact in the beginning, but I mostly spoke to Anthony towards the end. The whole experience was more a matter of me communicating to them when I had new medical bills and me asking them questions along the way. They didn't always respond right away, sometimes it took them a few days. Towards the end of the process they were getting a little pushy about me suing my own auto insurance company for a larger payment out of the under-insured portion of my policy; pushy to the point where I had to put my foot down and firmly tell them no. I understand they're trying to get as much as possible for me because the more I get, the more they get, but when I made it clear after the third time of saying no that I didn't want to sue my own auto insurance, they should have dropped the subject. I hired Hensley and at first it wasn't too bad. They got all my information. I spoke to a couple different people and got the ball rolling. But then it will go for months me not talking to anyone and not my fault at all I would call and call and call. I will leave messages. I would email the group my attorney and the case manager several times and not get any correspondence whatsoever. Then they pretty much settled my claim without even talking to me about the amount at all they just said it and said ,hey this is what we're getting and didn't ask if I agreed to settle it, they just sent the paperwork for me to sign. This was all after Year of dealing with them not contacting but maybe 3 times. Then said they paid all my hospital and doctor bills but there would be a couple I needed to pay. Now I'm getting bills from everywhere that they did not pay. They didn't even pay the $6700 surgery bill after insurance paid their part. They said my insurance had a lien on it and paid that but nothing else. I honestly didn't know how the process worked and I think they knew that and took advantage of that. I also had my attorney changed and case manager a couple times and not once seen anyone in person. Never again I hope everyone reads this. It's 100% truth. DO NOT USE THEM

They even help you get through the process on your own to see if you can file without them, but I definitely think you should give them a call and let them tell you what they think about your situation. They not pushy at all and they are just trying to help. They will help file papers and head you on the right course.

The contract stated they will get compensation for past, present and future. I asked for the terms to be changed because I had completed all of my work comp obligations and they should not be entitled to past compensation. I received a prompt email stating they would not be representing me. They offered no reason. I'm going to say that at the end of this upcoming path I am going to venture down, they were going to want a big portion of my past comp pay. That's the "gotcha". Terrible company to do business with.

My lawyer couldn't answer any of the question the judge was asking. Settled the lawsuit because i knew with this lawyer i wasn't gonna get anything.
