The first time I've ever left a tip at a laundromat or dry cleaners! The service was just outstanding. I left a cash tip as I've heard from a few workers at various other businesses that I regularly visit that any tip left by credit card payment may take a long period of time to actually get to the employees. It was such a small request that would have cost the business nothing, yet it was handled as if I were asking for something unreasonable. Little acts of customer service go a long way, especially in a business where customers are already paying premium prices. While the clean facility and amenities are appreciated, the lack of basic courtesy left a disappointing impression. The male owner came in was well aware of the situation and cared more about trying to prove me wrong VS ownership and accountability of what happened. I was adding my laundry in the the washer when this employee came over next to me and hit me in the knee with her arm then said "sorry" and started laughing like a hysterical hyena. She never asked if I was okay. I said... actually that's not okay and why are you laughing? I have a bad knee and.... She started screaming at the top of her lungs I said I was sorry. She was screaming so loud I had to bust out my video camera and she immediately stopped yelling. There was another employee that was changing shifts and she asked me what happened and this woman started screaming over me so I couldn't tell her -- I apologized was being screamed by the laughing lady. Well, assaulting (yes, that's the legal term if someone hits you - accidentally or not) as someone with a bad knee in their weak knee then laughing and screaming isn't... OKAY. I'm pretty sure it's illegal. I'm sitting here debating on calling the cops. I have to finish my laundry sadly but it maybe best to file a report. I'm shaking and she yells and laughs at people she just hit in the knee. It wasn't funny. A little bit off the beaten path, but, 60 lb washers (probably overkill for my comforters, but it feels good!) AND a 75 lb dryer!!! I have never seen anything so deep! Both comforters at once!!! All in all great place to do laundry. As more people find this place, the owner will add extra benefits like wash/fold service and maybe even food! In the meantime, he also works at the mini-mart next door for all your laundry and snack needs! So easy, affordable and pleasant, I may consider washing my comforters more often!
