Another great haircut from Hank's. Jamie did a great job! Once again the greeting was made to be awkward. Last time it was some rude tattoo'd freak. This time it was the pasty Count Dracula. When I walked in, the bloodsucker was hovered on a barber chair seemingly lifeless. After a long delay, he graced me with a very unenthusiastic.... maaaaay eyyye help youuu....all while prone and never taking his lifeless eyes off the TV. Went here as a walk-in around 4:30pm last Thursday. Was told they take walk-ins and got taken to a back parlor where they said they didn't have time for a walk-in but I was told to sit and they'll figure it out. Waited 45 minutes and Bianca didn't even spend 10 minutes cutting my hair. They just sighed and kept checking their phone the whole time saying they needed to go to a baseball game. They didn't blend my hair at all, there are pieces in the back that are way longer because they just brushed it out of the way and started buzzing so now it looks uneven all over the sides and back. Only went over the top of my head with scissors once and left that with large uneven sections too. Didn't follow my picture and didn't listen to my requests at all. They just did a 1 around the back and sides, no fade, no blending, nothing. Asked them to thin my hair on top because it was too heavy to style and they didn't do that either, so now I can't even style it to look better. They also only let me see my haircut in the small handmirror, never even turning me around, which was weird. Seriously, I wish they would have just turned me away when I walked in. I used to go to Henry's shop for haircuts, went there for years. He retired and his daughter who cut hair with him went to Hanks to work, so I decided to go there. Wow, like night and day. Tried to do a walk in like usual and was told it may be an hour. Fine. I left and made an appointment. I showed up downstairs, saw Henry's daughter but she was busy I guess because she looked at me but didn't acknowledge me. I was directed to go upstairs. Didn't know there was an upstairs, but I trudged off to find it. I walked in, said I had an appointment, and the guy sitting in a barber chair looking at his phone hopped up and said "Have a seat." So I went to the barber chair to sit down and he angrily told me "No! Over there!" He pointed to the row of empty chairs. One other guy was in there getting his haircut by a different barber, my guy was doing nothing. I started to the chairs, kind of in shock, then stopped and said "Screw this." I left and never went back. I never will either. All I wanted was a No. 2 buzz all over. 5 minutes, done. It's been two years and I'm still pissed. read more

He got me in within the hour and took on the task of cutting my 1.5 year old sons hair and let me tell you that is not an easy task. I have taken my son to a kids barber before and it was let's just say a disaster and I thought I would just do his hair myself instead. They can't cut hair, I had a picture of the haircut I wanted and he cut it way to short, I don't even know where he got the haircut from. Wouldn't recommend, you're better of cutting your hair with a chainsaw. They should rename it to hanks butcher shop cause that's what they do, butcher things.
