After careful consideration, Companion Roofing seemed the best fit for me with regards to price, materials, and reviews from customers (plus an A+ BBB accredidation). Chris was patient in immediately addressing all of my concerns and was flexible on our project timeline. He consulted me about some mould issues with the roof plywood as well as the advanced rusting state of my chimney before going forward with solutions to both. His crew was friendly, efficient and very respectful of our property and those of our neighbours. AND: the job was priced well below what I expected, (even after the unexpected mould discovery). To top it all off they finished a lot sooner than I expected and, with the exception of the beautiful new roof, you'd never know they were here. Thank you Chris and crew for a job well done. * * * Save your time and money by calling them first. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMPAINION ROOFING

I am writing this review in a sort of by-proxy way…read more I did not go to Total Gas and fireplace for myself. My parents are buying a fireplace and after looking around and pricing out, Total Gas came out to be the cheapest by a fair bit. My folks went in with two big requests, and were assured it would not be a problem. Unfortunately, when they came to install the fireplace.. it was not fulfilling one of the requests (that it be snug up against the wall).. so they did raise issue and to Total Gas's credit, it was fixed in about what amounted to a week's time. The retail store is warm (go figure) and really kind of neat.. with all kinds of various options for fireplaces on display. Although I couldn't imagine working their in the summer.. Anyways, all in all a good place to get your custom fireplace installed with good customer service.
