All we had asked…read morefor was a chimney cleaning and an inspection of the cap since a bird had recently flown down into the fireplace. Looking from the ground, and not going up on the roof, he assured me the cap was fine. However after I paid and they left I realized that there was still a pile of soot in the fireplace. When contacted Tim merely said he was trying to save me an extra $75 since my chimney was dirtier than most and his vacuum bag was full. Well, for $250 and less than an hour's time I think 2 extra minutes to change the bag in the vacuum could have been included. He may be competent, but I expect someone to complete the job they were hired to do.

This was discovered after all payment had been delivered. Since then they have "promised" to fix the problem but have not shown up. Also, they are not accepting phone calls or responding to texts. I also suspect they are operating "under the radar" with no GST number on quote.
