We chose a sunset seating and the pictures are unreal. one of the most beautiful restaurant views because the water is right there- if you sit on the lower patio you might get sprayed a little! I asked for a creamy espresso martini and the bartender got it perfect- I ordered two! The other cocktails were good as well. The hot crab dip was amazing! I loved that the pumpkin pasts wasn't overwhelmingly pumpkin- it was just perfectly balanced. All of the vegetables and sauces on the Buddha's feast were delicious, but since it was just vegetables, I wish there had been more volume because event after sharing an app I was still hungry. We got the rum cake for desert, and we LOVE rum cake. However, if you had told me this was just chocolate cake, I would have believed it. It needed much more rum/syrup! Still a great meal in a fantastic setting, and we will be going back!

The food. MEH. I love carpaccio but this was underwhelming and didn't have enough acidity to balance the plate. I ordered the lobster pasta. Wow -what a disappointment. The lobster was over cooked and chewy. The sauce (bisque) was flavorless and needed salt and a bit of heavy cream badly. The pasta was way past al dente. Had to ask for bread- was told "had to see if they had enough for a side of bread." Ran out of risotto for a 730 pm reservation. Offered two specials but I had to ask the price. (Pet peeve--tell me the special price). And then the server wasn't sure and had to go ask. Go only for the location and view --not the food. The mocktails were both delicious. Points for having a mocktail list!

You have to past a gate guard, park, walk towards the office, cross a little bridge and take a little walk to get here. I had go call them to guide me in. Once you get here though, it is worth it. It has a nice set up with bar seating, an indoor dining area, and outdoor covered patio seating. It is a very low key spot that runs daily food specials. The staff there is very friendly. Even though the condos has a decent sized parking lot, I had difficulty finding a spot. I was able to get one though after someone had left. They have a full bar with televisions above it playing sports. The dining area overlooks the pool and the patio seating is along the condo's lake. It is very intimate and chill. Their menu is somewhat compact and includes pasta, steak, shrimp, fish, burgers and chicken. I ordered the the blackened salmon with mashed potatoes and a side of plantains. My meal also cam with a Caesar's salad and I got some lemonade to wash it all down. It took about 15 minutes. My salad was first. It was fresh and pretty good. The salmon was also delicious along with the potatoes. Come to think of it, the plantains were pretty good too. I really enjoyed my meal. I would just keep in mind though that drink refills are not free. I was not aware of that until after I got my bill. No biggie, I just wish I would have known before hand. Outside of that, my meal was thoroughly enjoyable and the atmosphere was amazing. I recommend checking this place out.

Around the back of the restaurant is a covered outdoor courtyard with lush plants, a full bar, and lots of seating (extra points for the fans, the air circulation is phenomenal). Next the service. Impeccable. Every person that we encounter from the host, the bar tender and the waitress were so very friendly. I appreciated the recommendations that they had to offer on food and drinks (because everything looked so good). Some of the best service I've had on the island so far. Now finally, the FOOD!! You could tell it's was going to be good just from how the staff spoke about it. We had three appetizers (lobster egg rolls, ceviche, and calamari). Each were very unique and flavorful, great size for sharing, everything you hope for in good appetizers. For my entree I was torn between many different things, but with the help of staff I decided to go with the bacon wrapped double pork chop. And WOW I'm so happy I did. I always fear with pork chops of a dry, hard to chew meal but this was far from reality. The cut of meat was so juicy and easy to cut and chew. The flavor was fantastic. Cooked to perfection. For dessert I decided to go with a classic vanilla rum cake and it was perfect. I loved Savant, it was an experience from start to finish. 10000/10 recommend that you try this restaurant when on St. Croix!

The restaurant is found on King Street, one block parallel to waterfront street, Strand. Walking to the restaurant, one immediately notices small groups of men, sitting on the sidewalk and standing in front of a small grocery across the street from Cibone. They are in conversation, drinking beers, and the aroma of cannabis (legal in St Croix) wafts over the air. The scene was a bit disconcerting initially, but we walked to the restaurant and after dinner to the car, unmolested, barely noticed by the Cruzans. The restaurant is housed in a wooden structure, perhaps a house in prior years. Entering, the proprietor sits right of the smallish bar, the bar right of entry to the eatery. There are tables within the main structure, and tables left of entry on the covered patio. We were immediately greeted by the staff and directed to our table on the patio, patio seating always the preference of my dear lady. Micah, our waiter, filled our drink order, and presented the days menu, written on a small "blackboard" at the tableside. The menu was somewhat limited, and unfortunately, seafood dishes that we had read were not available, a consequence of the rough seas courtesy of Beryl. The restaurant serves fresh seafood, from boat to table...our misfortune. The restaurant offers a full bar, but interestingly, there is no wine list which one might peruse before choosing. We inquired of sauvignon blanc, and our requests were satisfied...the label we were never advised. We thought this curious, but none the less, the wine was satisfactory. We began our exploration of the menu with the Cibone crab cake. Three are offered on plate, with lines of sauce crossing the squares of cakes. Reviews had rated these cakes quite highly, but frankly we considered them heavy on breading, and light on crab. The appetizer was a bit of a disappointment. We chose the salmon, and unhappily, the fish was a bit overcooked, somewhat dry, lacking adequate sauce. The second entree was the grilled shrimp, and this dish was the better of the two, the shrimp well finished. But in truth, our expectations were of a true culinary delight, having read the reviews. The offerings overall were good, but not exceptional. For a satisfying meal, Cibone would satisfy most palates. The staff throughout were welcoming, of good cheer, but at times the service a bit slow. In fairness, there is a solo chef working with one sous chef at his side. This restaurant is very popular with the locals, but after our visit, we consider Cibone a work in progress, offering not elegant cuisine, but rather menu items borne of a home grown, self taught chef.

There is a beautiful outdoor dining courtyard option. Inside is open concept where you can see the chefs preparing the food! Our severe was phenomenal and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Truly each of these dishes had something special about them and were all FANTASTIC! Presentation, texture, flavor all amazing. I still think about the Brie five days later writing this review. I wish I took more photos! For entree I had the steak. It was a New York Strip with house made chimichurri, and a sweet potato mash. Wow it was the best steak I've had in a long time. All the flavors on the plate complimented each other so beautifully. Again, I wish I took more pictures!! Dessert was a delight all on its own. The Crème Brûlée was smooooooth as can be. Not a single lump or bump. The plantain foster really did steal the spotlight on the dessert. It was warm and gooey and flavorful and perfect! There was some foster sauce left over that we ended up mixing with some crème brûlée and it was heaven. One of the intriguing aspects of this place was the chef was on the TV show 'Beat Bobby Flay'... iykyk. I definitely can see how he beat him.
