They stained it to match the cabinets, after I told the installer I wanted dark floors. They never finished grouting the bathroom floor and took the grout so I couldn't finish it. As the years have gone by, I've realized they only put one coat of poly in the floor, not two. I've been disappointed for years. Today, I found the original receipt and they sold me 1131 sf of flooring with a note that there is 5% for waste. The problem is, the new contractor who measured says there is only 800sf downstairs. That's 331 sf extra that I never got. It's almost $1000 over what I should have been charged! This whole thing was a scam from the start!

His scope of work was very detailed, and he made us feel confident in hiring him, so we did. I can't say enough great things about them. The guys were well mannered, hardworking and went over and beyond what we expected. We started out with wanting 3 rooms painted and after seeing all the prep they did and the finish product, we added 4 more rooms. Then we hired them again last week and they just finished our fence and deck and all I can say is wow. Great job Fresh Look and thank you so much for all you did. I will be referring you to anyone that needs painting. Christine and Ben

We signed a contract with Cabinet Makeovers for a kitchen remodel in Jan 2021…read more We met with Dan Zimmerle, CEO and owner, and Chris Czarka, Project Manager. Dan has a gift for visual appeal, cabinet functionality, and colors while Chris' job is to ensure that the trains will run on time. Made a good impression, and we checked references here in Mt Juliet. The goal is to give new life and look to builder-grade cabinets to avoid a complete kitchen tear-down They walked us through a checklist to review expectations. Will update our review once remodel is complete sometime in April/May

They kept to the set estimate and helped us coordinate a few independent contractors to get our kitchen gut and remodel complete and dreamy and within our budget. Chris was a responsive and attentive project manager, and Tony's carpentry was second to none. The cabinets are custom-made on site. It was impressive to watch. We have been enjoying our kitchen for about a year and half now and are quite content with the workmanship.

I contracted Tristar Avenue to do a full kitchen remodel, replace all flooring in my home, install…read moresome rails, and paint some walls. TJ Burk (the Owner) and his team were an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. In the beginning I was very unsure of the exact work I wanted done. TJ took a consultative approach and listened to what I wanted and even helped make suggestions on what would be possible and look best in the space. He provided multiple quotes so that I had options to decide on a budget that I felt most comfortable with. He was patient while I went back and forth with my bank on funds, he provided resources and advice during the selection process, and once the project began I had a clear understanding of the schedule and was updated often on progress. His in house contractor who was at my house for the majority of the remodel is top knotch. He was polite, professional, friendly, and just a beast of a worker. He got things done in a timely fashion and he paid attention to details (so much so the outcome far exceeded my expectations.) I encountered many subs throughout the process (cabinet installers, appliance installers, plumbers, a team who installed the rails, and final cleaners). Each one was just as good as the last - they were all prompt, professional, courteous, and did an amazing job. The thing about Tristar Avenue that sets them apart from any other contractor I've ever encountered is their determination to go above and beyond for their clients. Just one example of this is at some point nearing the end of the project some jerk hit my mailbox - this was not one of the contractors and had absolutely nothing to do with Tristar Avenue. On the last day TJ sent his guys out with a new mailbox that he bought and had them set it up for me because he knew I was having people in town that weekend and he said "first impressions are important." I know it can be scary hiring a contractor especially for larger projects, but I can assure you you're in great hands with this team. 20/10 would recommend and absolutely will be using them again for all future projects!

Our personal experience: When we called Zinga's in early April of 2021 (2 months before our house…read morewas to be finished) we were put in touch with Jess (their salesman). Jess (no longer with Zinga's) came out in early May to measure for not only shutters but black out shades for all the bedrooms and the entire rest of the house....Not a small project nor small amount of revenue that was to be spent. On May 23rd I paid them $15k (75%) deposit for a $20k order. Jess was all about the guarantee, the customer service, the traditional value prop etc....However this would be an journey. We moved in on June 11 and Jess provided us with temporary thin shades (which was fine as it was something - knowing our shades were supposed to be only 4 more weeks, and the shutters end of July. After not hearing from Jess for over 2-3 weeks I decided to call to get status on our order. Come to find out Jess left the company and no one had reached out to let us know what was going on. After getting a hold of corporate, we came to find out he put the order in 6 weeks late causing us to experience a huge delay. It's now End of July and still nothing! Insert Taylor - Sales Manager after fighting with corporate to get some status and resolution. Taylor ensures me the shades will be in by 8/13. Several emails exchanged later and finally we got some shades installed on 8/18. 13 shads in total were supposed to be installed (now more than 70 days later) and only 6 were measured properly. The installer left said they would have to reorder and remeasure. Taylor did come out to our home remeasure which then required them to check the shutter order and low and behold there were multiple wrong there as well. Fast forward through conversations with Taylor - his boss Todd, messages sent to the owner, and many more delays of getting the product from the manufacturers. The week of installation finally arrived - October 11. Blinds were finally right, Shutters were also right and the installation men did a good job installing but a poor job cleaning up. 1 broken slat and 2 arch shutters toll to be delivered and installed. Zinga's (once engaging several layers of management) did come through at the end with a credit (below my expectations) but an agreement that was accepted by me to clear this matter so we could both move on. I do believe this as an isolated incident as I have read many reviews that given Zinga's high marks for being a great company to work with. I have rated them 5 stars due to our agreement and to edit my post which was previously a 1 star based on the experience we had up to our agreement on October 20. Caveat Emptor.
