Non deserving of a star. I have had so many horrible experiences with them, and I still manage to…read morecome back. Just paid them a visit august 1st. for my son's face. We assume impetigo. This visit was when we found out they no longer take my hmo insurance through Florida blue. Great. $150, but it's an emergency so I obliged. Very aggravating though :) We see the doctor, she's great. I say it's impetigo. She agrees, but didn't do any more thorough inspections of her own, so I assume that's definitely what he has. She prescribed him a topical ointment. We have been applying as needed every single day since, and it hasn't gotten better. It's not horribly worse, but not better. I call back August 7 (today) asking if there's any way we could be prescribed antibiotics because HE STARTS SCHOOL IN 4 DAYS. the nurse says "if you hold I will speak with a doctor and see what he says." *5 seconds later* "sorry ma'am you're going to have to come in for another check up" ma'am, it's only been 5 seconds, there's no way you talked to a doctor... she gets defensive saying she doesn't know where this conversation is going and that she doesn't have the energy to argue. I hang up. No resolution. Only money to be spent. Idk. Maybe this is just the American health system, and they don't do pro-bono or help those who really can't afford healthcare without insurance. I'm a single mother on one income and have spent $450 in the last week, including this last visit, on top of school supplies and clothes shopping for my son. Didn't think asking for an oral antibiotic required another $150 appointment just to be like "yes you're right, here's a prescription for amoxicillin" please do better. Not everyone can pull money out of their ass, especially when you stop taking their insurance a day before they show up for a walk in appointment.

When you're on vacation and get a kidney stone, you want to go somewhere where you'll be taken good…read morecare of. Ascension Sacred Heart does just that. My husband drove me to the ER, but I was getting sick so violently I couldn't get out of the care. ER personnel came out to our car with a wheelchair, waiting patiently in the warm sun till the spasms were over. From the moment I was wheeled in, everything was handled calmly and orderly and kindly. It was a weekday morning so it wasn't really busy and I was seen in just a few minutes. I was wheeled back to the ER where the real work began. Now, I'm in pain and there are things that have to be done before they can deal with the pain. I was patient through that. I understand. And what they had to do...take blood, set up an IV, hook me up to monitors, etc was conducted with efficiency and gentle care. Then came the pain meds. One had to be "pushed" through my IV. Having gone to nursing school (but not graduating), pushing a med via an IV is an important skill and my ER had it! She explained all that would happen as the drug entered my body. She kept reinforcing her explanation as the drug began to take effect. I appreciated that! A second pain med had to be administered and by the time I was rolled to get a CT scan, I was feeling much better. The PA in the ER knew exactly what to, popped in frequently to check on me and practically held my hand as the stone passed. The facility was SPOTLESS. All the staff were calm and kind and seemed to really like being in the medical field, helping people. I usually have more questions than the average patient, and each person I came in contact with STOPPED and took time to answer all my questions. You don't want to have a medical emergency when you're on vacation. But I am truly thankful that Ascension Sacred Heart was close by for my needs. Great place. Great people.

People and treatment was outstanding and my nurse was an Absolute pleasure in a bad time. But 14k for the "Surgical Procedure" (a colonoscopy) alone is absolutely atrocious and downright sickening. 0 Stars if possible.

I went to Dr. Creek's office on Thursday, and he immediately took action. I got an X-ray and an MRI the very same day, and by Friday they called me with a plan. On Tuesday, he performed surgery on my L3 and L4, and I already feel better than I have in a long time. He went far above and beyond what any other doctor would do. His dedication, efficiency, and compassion truly stand out. Dr. Creek and his team made me feel heard, cared for, and confident. He didn't waste any time -- he found the problem and fixed it. I would rate him 100 out of 10. If you're in pain or feel like no one is listening, go see Dr. Creek. He made a HUGE difference in my life.

My whole experience from the moment I walked in was just very relaxed and non stressful. I felt like I was truly heard and understood about the type of pain that I've been experiencing. This gives me hope that we can come up with a non surgical solution.
