Hanes Supply is a distributor and manufacturer of rigging and industrial lifting solutions as well as a major manufacturer of lifting and rigging slings. We are also an authorized Slingmax dealer, and a complete construction supply company. Hanes Supply also manufactures and provides chain slings, nylon slings, polyester slings, custom lifting devices, tools, abrasives, fall protection supplies, and other construction supplies.
We also offer a variety of services including rental, repair, training, while being ISO 9001:2015 certified as a manufacturer of lifting products with full in-house testing and certification.
History
Established in 1930.
Hanes Supply got started in May of 1930 in Buffalo, NY when our founder Theodore C. Hanes learned how to splice wire rope from a friend to obtain his Aircraft Mechanics License. He soon learned that splicing wire rope provided good income on the table for his family.
Since then, we have opened several locations throughout New York State, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and North Carolina.
Ted's son, Bill, would later take over as the President of the company in 1980. Today, Hanes Supply is a provider for construction, industrial, rigging and manufacturing needs.
Meet the Business Owner: Bill H.
Bill Hanes took over as President for Hanes Supply Inc. in June of 1980. Since the, Bill has pushed our company to strive for continuous improvement and make sure we are serving our loyal customers in every way possible.
