My family and I were traveling to Austin, TX on a Sunday night and the alternator went out in our…read more26' Uhaul truck. Trans-Matic Wrecker Service was called out to assist us with a tow and to possibly fix the alternator. We were literally between two small towns and Uhaul suggested that he tow us an hour in the wrong direction to stay the night. Calvin our driver came to the rescue and was able to get Uhaul to realize there were closer towns in the right direction and convinced them that would be the best remedy. Not only did he have to go 120 miles roundtrip to make sure we got into our hotel safely but he also came out the next day on another 120 mile roundtrip drive to replace the alternator and ensure my family and I were back on the road and on schedule. The 2 closer Uhaul service contractors didn't want to come change the alternator and Calvin didn't have to either... but he said he couldn't just leave us sitting there and came to the rescue. Trans-Metic Wreckers cared when no one else did. They'll take care of you as good as they take care of your vehicle.
