Rob was the only one to respond positively to my request. Several businesses did not respond and another said my job was too small. Rob answered in a timely manner, requested more information and several photos to evaluate the job. He came up with a plan and costs that fit my budget. Set a date for work and he was on time and ready to work. Also had a few smaller jobs he was able to do for me at the same time. Very pleased with his work ethic along with what I felt was a fair cost for labour and parts supplied. I will be calling him again when I need future work. Definitely a person to contact for your projects.

This company has lost its way entirely. What began as a good idea that delivered on its promise 4-5…read moreyears ago has become a complete rip off. Extraordinarily expensive for substandard services. The proprietor is charming but he cannot manage his staff, the turnover is incredibly high and there is zero continuity in quality or understanding between cleanings. What is most shocking is that Luciano, the founder, has become a huckster. He marks up any additional services by hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars. He's little more than a middleman who takes advantage of folks without the time to find an alternative. What sickens me the most is that he casts himself as someone who's only in it to help immigrants find their feet in the country. I'm appalled by what I've discovered and I'm loathe think on the many ways he exploits his employees. Avoid this place.

But as soon as there is an issue -- or, as in my case, one of his crew members damages your property--he very quickly morphs into a nasty, trashy piece of work. So ironic because Brilho brands itself as this high end cleaning agency but you can't get more ghetto. To fix the problems caused by Luciano's unprofessional team, I hired Service Master Repair who were fantastic. They were punctual, friendly, and meticulous. A breath of fresh air after Hurricane Brilho lol.

I hired this company to do a variety of work around my house and I have been completely satisfied…read morewith both the quality of the work and the professionalism of the staff. Initially, I hired them to do some simple things like putting in a new toilet, putting up some window coverings and some small lighting fixtures. The work was straightforward, but it was done in a timely and effective manner. And the price was right as well. I decided to get them to do an overhaul of my front porch... and what a good decision it was. The work was excellent and I received several compliments from my neighbours. I even had a woman knock on my door and ask who did the work! Not sure if she followed up in getting them to do future work for her. Since then, I've had them put in some flooring, (in addition to a number of smaller jobs) and I've been very pleased. I'm glad I found them and will get them to do future work in my house.

Trim was left dirty and marked up. Caulking between trim and 1/4 round sloppy. Powder room pedestal sink removed and vanity installed. There was a space left between the old sink and new one and he had no intention of fixing it. Also, he had to remove the medicine cabinet and hang it higher. Dropped it and gouged the wood trim that goes around the middle of the wall. Claimed he didn't see it. It was pretty big. Left 2 little piles of sawdust behind the vanity from where he had to cut the trim. His caulking of the vanity and the wall was also sloppy. And he put caulking between the fake drawer and top of vanity where there was none before. It was an absolute mess! It took me hours to remove it. Even though he offered to return and fix them, I declined and fixed them all myself. His site claims he's licensed, but when I asked about plumbing, he told me he's not a licensed plumber. So, ask questions and make sure you know what he's capable of. Oh, forgot to mention the glue that was left in the main bathroom sink after the installation of the new fixture. More caulking in the bathroom, where the trim meets the toe kick. Looks horrendous. I mean, he's addicted to caulk.

I had no idea it would be so quick, but I was grateful as Toronto was going through its usual summer heatwaves, that sucks the life out of everyone. Alex was a very nice and friendly man, who is not only professional but gives off a welcoming vibe of friendliness. With a team of folks working the in-take calls, I was impressed with Kim's friendliness and thorough attention to detail. She proactively told me what to expect with the service call and re the timing, and followed-up with emails that provided photos of the technicians who would be visiting (great safety precaution). Zahir and La Aung were my plumbers and I felt comforted by Zahir's friendly and thorough explanation of how they would undertake the job. He promptly provided me with a quote before starting the necessary work. The job seemed reasonably priced, particularly since it was in a very awkwardly cramped space (with a pipe leak behind the HVAC). They made no complaints at all about the awkward space and conducted their work efficiently. Payment was a breeze with their mobile tablet (that accepts credit card payments) and he had me check my satisfaction with their work before processing payment. Zahir also pointed out some redundant piping that he discovered that could be addressed prophylactically to prevent similar issues in the future and the office provided me a written quote for that work. Hoerner also agreed they would come back again (at no charge) if there were any issues with the work done today. Derek from their Heating (HVAC) team also came by to help with some questions I had about the gas lines, and even helped me restart the pilot light in my gas fireplace. Super friendly. What great service!
