To anyone who is looking for a handyman, keep in mind that every job is different and every…read morehandyman approaches things differently. With that said, I am very happy I found this company! Unlike most handyman companies that don't bother or don't like to fix a job that was not done right the first time, Lesley and her team really took care of things. While the initial job they did was not to my satisfaction, Lesley the Owner, was professional and extremely understanding. She came with Mike to work with me and found the best solution at the best cost for the issue I was having. He fixed the job quickly and efficiently and I will be calling them again!

I hired this company to do a variety of work around my house and I have been completely satisfied…read morewith both the quality of the work and the professionalism of the staff. Initially, I hired them to do some simple things like putting in a new toilet, putting up some window coverings and some small lighting fixtures. The work was straightforward, but it was done in a timely and effective manner. And the price was right as well. I decided to get them to do an overhaul of my front porch... and what a good decision it was. The work was excellent and I received several compliments from my neighbours. I even had a woman knock on my door and ask who did the work! Not sure if she followed up in getting them to do future work for her. Since then, I've had them put in some flooring, (in addition to a number of smaller jobs) and I've been very pleased. I'm glad I found them and will get them to do future work in my house.

While the price was right, you get what you pay for. We had a small section of hardwood installed…read more That was ok but the trim and 1/4 round were left a mess. Nails weren't filled in. Trim was left dirty and marked up. Caulking between trim and 1/4 round sloppy. Powder room pedestal sink removed and vanity installed. There was a space left between the old sink and new one and he had no intention of fixing it. Also, he had to remove the medicine cabinet and hang it higher. Dropped it and gouged the wood trim that goes around the middle of the wall. Claimed he didn't see it. It was pretty big. Left 2 little piles of sawdust behind the vanity from where he had to cut the trim. His caulking of the vanity and the wall was also sloppy. And he put caulking between the fake drawer and top of vanity where there was none before. It was an absolute mess! It took me hours to remove it. Even though he offered to return and fix them, I declined and fixed them all myself. His site claims he's licensed, but when I asked about plumbing, he told me he's not a licensed plumber. So, ask questions and make sure you know what he's capable of. Oh, forgot to mention the glue that was left in the main bathroom sink after the installation of the new fixture. More caulking in the bathroom, where the trim meets the toe kick. Looks horrendous. I mean, he's addicted to caulk.

You can tell the staff take pride in their roles and end product. They cleaned up before leaving and were adamant I was happy with the finished product - and I was. I had no idea it would be so quick, but I was grateful as Toronto was going through its usual summer heatwaves, that sucks the life out of everyone. Alex was a very nice and friendly man, who is not only professional but gives off a welcoming vibe of friendliness. It was a pleasure having Alex and Midtown Handyman respond so quickly and do such a professional job. We hired Handyman pro as a fencing contractor to handle the replacement of line posts on a backyard fence. The quote came in favourably (ie - on the lower side) so I was curious as to what quality of materials would be used. The materials were top notch and included unexpected things like sonotubes which many contractors would have chosen to avoid for cost on a project like a fence. Their work was incredible, their price was fair, and communication was fast and seamless - it was one week from first inquiry to completion of the job. Somehow that seems like a lot to ask in this city but Handyman Pro got it done. Do yourself a favour and stop looking. These guys are it!
