I contracted Michael Freeman and Logan Elliot to work on my home for plumbing, electrical and mud…read morework. The initial timeline was 3 weeks as it was a small job. Michael lied about the progress being made on my home and the work he had been completing while I was away working in Michigan. After I came home from 3 weeks. I saw the work they had done and what they had not done. I gave them a 2 week extension to get the work done as I had already paid in full. week 1 of the extension, Michael and Logan showed up to work 6 hours the entire week. I told Michael at the end of week 2, tools will need to be put down, any work unfinished I wanted to be reimbursed for and then they needed to pack up and get out. Michael agreed and said okay. After 5 weeks opening my home to these guys, They destroyed my flooring in my living room, my coffee table, my entertainment center, left garbage everywhere in my home, left inappropriate drawings in my walls, left rotting chicken in my fridge, washed their tools in my kitchen sink. Left a dumpster in my yard [still here 3 weeks later] - and the best part is, they lied about the plumbing rework, and this flooded my entire living room ceiling which I then had to tear out myself due to the water damage. Initially I told Michael and Logan, I wanted to be fair, they did some electrical and mudding work, 30% of all work had been completed at this time, but had been paid in full [at the end of 5 weeks], I told them I would let them keep half the money, but that they needed to pay me back for what work was not completed. [70% of work had not been completed] Michael agreed to this when he came to pick up his tools but asked for a two week extension to get me my money back, I said okay, today is the end of two weeks, I asked him where my money is and he told me he will see me in court and that he will counter sue me if I say anything poor about his company for slander. [texts for proof if anyone wants to reach out to me] Michael and Logan did not show up to work on time 1 day, [9 am] Michael does not have his own vehicle to get to work, [despite being a co-owner of this business] is extremely dishonest, and is now being pursued by me for theft, property damage and fraud. We had Caleb and his team totally rewire an older home due to faulty wiring. They arrived when…read morescheduled and ended up having to stay longer than they had planned due to some unforseen issues. They did a nice job and found a way to fish the wires up from the basement without cutting into the ceiling of a recently finished basement bedroom. There was a slight issue with the dishwasher and garbage disposal but once Caleb was informed that these needed to be working ASAP he agreed to come the next day and get them up and running. We have had Richland Window and Doors do several projects for us and have alwats been happy with the finished product!

I was so excited when I hired Dobby Contracting because he seemed to be the right guy for the job…read more His future (at the time) to be son in laws did most of the work as he was training them but left them alone too much. He used the cheapest products possible. I asked for double hung windows that open from the inside to clean. Only the bottom sash opens so i cannot clean the outside of the top windows without bringing out the ladder and cleaning them from the outside. The guys came to work at 10:30 and left at 2:30. They always left a huge mess with boards on the floor with nails on them. The drywall sinks in between the studs. I asked for outlets everywhere and got a few. I told him I would hire him for additional projects if he did me right, but I would never hire him again. I had to replace a carpet that I told him I did not want to do but his son-in-law to be cut a huge chunk out of the carpet rendering it useless. Dobby said he would repair it but never did. He was paid in full but never came back to finish the job. Do not hire him if you want more than satisfactory work.
