Hanson Plumbing did not follow up, did not answer phone calls or call me back on my voicemails, and did not provide the estimate, delaying my repairs by weeks now as I had to start the process over with another company, diagnosing the issue AGAIN for my home warranty company, AHS. I will be without hot water for 2.5 weeks now or more thanks to these delays.

His painter took it upon himself to use our bathroom, I would've had no problem had he asked. Would I hire him again? Not sure, probably not.

We are out of town owners so we wanted someone who could not only be relied upon, but who could manage all of the subs in an efficient way. They weren't the least expensive, but the difference was not so much and we went with them because of my brother's experience. The project involved granite countertop installation, tile backsplash installation, removal and replacement of some china cabinets, various electrical work, new sink and disposal installation, and similar work in the Master bath. Wow were we impressed! First off, the communication with us was outstanding. We knew about every visit and every issue in advance, receiving pictures along the way. Our neighbors in the condo complex couldn't have been more appreciative of the way they handled moving materials in and out. We actually had guests stay at our place during the high point of the construction (McNulty was not aware of it because it was a weekend), and the place was immaculate. Also per my brother, at the end of every day they do a complete clean. Quality of the workmanship was exceptional. We had a tricky counter request where we wanted the seam around the corner - not at the corner - where our stovetop was. They used a little extra bracing and were able to get a very big piece of granite into the unit. What a great experience for us. Everything about it was first class.

Made the mistake of paying for it up front. Started on wednesday April 8. did some work the next day and was told they couldn't finish that day, but Friday had an open schedule to finish. Never showed on Friday as I sat around waiting. When I contacted them, they blamed it on the weather. I'm now eating the $1000 I gave them and having someone else finish the job. Their reply was that I didn't have to pay the full amount, only a deposit. No mention of a refund at all for an unfinished job.

Surely, I thought, it would be impossible to find a plumber who would be willing to come on such short notice, who'd have the knowledge and experience to do the job, and who wouldn't charge an absolute fortune. But as fate would have it, I found Steve @ Hibernian and my plumbing emergency actually turned out to be a positive experience. He clearly knew exactly what he was doing and he had the expertise, equipment, and strength to get the job done well. What's more, he was pleasant, professional, and personable... and he was completely fair in his pricing (even with the circumstances). I highly recommend Hibernian Plumbing.

Unfortunately we had another water event at our home this year. This time it was in our basement. A…read moreline on our water softener failed. That sent a lot of water into our newly remodeled bathroom, hallway, and laundry room. We had recently been inspired by watching Renovation 911 which is a new renovation show on HGTV based here in MN. It was this inspiration that led us to contact them. Aaron came out right away and accessed our situation. He advised us that the water had gone under the floor into these other rooms and hallway. Aaron was able to remove our sink and floor in the bathroom, pull up some carpet and cut out some drywall. He then set up fans and equipment to start the drying process. I believe her name was Kathy, then came out a few times including on the weekend to check the status of the drying process. Once everything was dried, I advised Aaron that we would like their team to also handle the rebuild. Aaron referred me to Drew who contacted our insurance agent and assigned our file to Mark G. This is where everything went downhill. For the next 30 days, 30 days, I emailed, called and texted Mark. Sometimes he replied, sometimes he didn't. When he did, he would say that he was waiting for something from our insurance. So I would call my insurance agent, he advised me everything had been approved. I would then go back to Mark who said he still was waiting for information. After 30 days of confirming with our insurance and repeated attempts to contact Mark, we figured they had other projects that were more important. I again contacted my insurance agent and requested that the approved amount be sent to me. I then advised Drew and Mark that we would be going in a different direction. We did our own research, and about two weeks later we had the carpet installed, the bathroom floor, sink and vanity installed, and the drywall completed. Clearly it seems that our business was not important to them, however we are very thankful to the companies that cared enough to help us complete our project.
