I was informed via email that Chris no longer does massages. She did not address in the initial email the 3 pre-paid packages that her own site says are good for a year. In a series of emails back and forth she told me I was not entitled to any refund because there'd be "ample time" to get the massages. Her own policy says they are good for one year, not 6 months. She was incredibly rude, initially offering to refund 1/2 of our purchase price but deciding later to not even to do that when I told her reputations in a small town are important. She cannot provide an email copy she says she sent warning customers to use their packages. So, she basically stole $216 from us. She is not a wellness coach and tries to get women to pay for her "experience" with nutrition and time management. She lacks integrity and should be ashamed of herself.

I drove 30 minutes here for them to not be located where it is listed, the place I went to was an empty building with nobody in it. I called multiple times to figure out where they were located. Did not get any answer until 15 minutes after my appointment time, by which point, I had already started the 30-minute drive back home, and even still they were extremely unhelpful and did not seem concerned about the fact that they are falsely advertising their business online, as it does not appear to exist. There was no signage on the building corresponding with the name of the business that I was told, images on google and Facebook are not up to date and neither is the business address or name on their Facebook page or google business page. Don't expect much from this business, I was left extremely upset and stressed due to poor customer service and lack of communication, not to mention I wasted time and money driving all that way for absolutely nothing. Nothing has been done to right this wrong of wasting my time and money, and stressing me out and upsetting me as much as it did to receive such awful customer service, you would think a business would do better to communicate with new clients but all I got was stuff like "oh where did you go? Did you enter the wrong address? Can you come back even though we know you don't have all day and booked a specific time for a reason?" They made it seem like THEM messing up was MY fault which is completely unacceptable.

Buyer beware making an apointment at this salon…read more I'd had several great experiences with this salon and returned quite a few times for massage and other skincare procedures. I had to cancel an appointment due to a family emergency, I called last night at 11:30 to cancel a 12:30 appointment today - so I gave 18 hours notice with a message explaining the cancellation. I expected to call back and reschedule when we were back to normal our normal schedule, but instead, I got a nasty phone call and a bill for $50 for a late cancellation. I've never canceled with them with less than 24-hours notice before, although I have rescheduled a few appointments as I've needed to flex for work (and also had a few of my appointments canceled or rescheduled at the last minute as my aesthetician had some family emergencies she had to attend to.) 18-hours notice is decent chunk time, and I'd expect more grace for a returning customer who was having a hard time. I'm sad because I really liked Julie - I'll see if she works in other spas because I don't want to miss her services because of the business owner's stringency.
