Personally, I prefer foot massages over full-body massages. I initially found Ann when I heard that reflexology foot massages could help heal my eight-month-long plantar fasciitis pain. After five or six visits, my plantar fasciitis pain completely disappeared, and I've kept going biweekly to prevent it from ever coming back. (Spoiler alert - foot massages have prevented any recurrence!) Since reflexology worked so well on me, my husband started getting regular foot massages himself. He used to have foot pain from running, and his pain disappeared as well. He's now into walking--rather than running--and Ann's foot massages have kept him pain-free. Ann is the best reflexologist, and her foot massages never cause me pain. Her new location off Zion Avenue is cozy and comfortable. We'll continue going as long as she remains in business!

Had my first since then…read moremassage a couple weeks ago and remembered both how awesome massages are in general and how good the staff is at Serenity Now. The staff has turned over a good bit in the couple years its been since my last visit which is no surprise given all everyone has faced and it had to have been ultrahard on businesses that require such personal contact and connection. That said, in looking at the bios and experiencing a massage from one staff member it's clear SN continues to vet who they sign on thoroughly and bring in well trained folks. Pretty much any kind of therapeutic body work you're interested in SN has you covered. I generally go for deep tissue massage but they do many styles and I'm sure do all the others well. Check out their website for info, pricing and book a session. It's easy to do online or by phone. Promise you'll be glad you did.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but Elaina quickly put me at ease and made me very comfortable. Most of the work is done on your back, on a large mat on the floor, and fully clothed. There's a pillow for your head, and Elaina offers a blanket to keep you warm. She offers aromatherapy to your preference, and has nice, relaxing music playing. Since this was my first Thai massage, she quietly explained what she was doing as she went along. And with each stretch and massage, I could feel myself relaxing. This isn't your typical body massage. Thai massages are unique and stress-relieving in a different way, through gentle pressure and stretching. And there is no greasy oil or lotion residue on your skin! Elaina offers convenient appointments, with her last one at 5:30pm for those of us who can't come in during the day. I'll definitely be back!
