I hired this service with the expectation of a professional and straightforward experience, but…read moreunfortunately that was not the case. The worker scheduled to arrive at 10:00 did not show up on time, and when they did arrive, they did not have the necessary supplies to begin the job. This led to delays while waiting for a second person to show up, followed by even more delays when one of them had to leave again to get materials. During the visit, one of the workers took change from my counter and knocked my laundry room door off its track without notifying me or attempting to fix it. These actions were unprofessional and unacceptable. The pricing was also inconsistent and confusing. The Thumbtack listing indicated a $95 per hour base rate, yet I was quoted $450 for four hours. When a quote is given, it is typically understood to represent the total cost. However, the job only took about 2 1/2 hours. When I emailed for clarification and requested an itemized invoice, I was told their work wasn't really based on hourly rates, and I never received an itemized invoice at all. This made it difficult to understand how the charges were determined. While the tasks were eventually completed, the lack of punctuality, transparency, and communication left me disappointed. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable using this service again or recommending it to others.

Their cleaners came to do a full house cleaning and broke our vanity in the bathroom and after being apologetic and saying they would take care of it, they then came back and said we signed in four different places that states we are liable for any damage done!!! Then Jon said he could find a slab for $100 and Zelled it to us, and said because we accepted it, that is all they will do. It's my duty to let you know that if anything is broken in your house by this company, YOU are able, not them. And the ladies that came were so unprofessional and I had to ask them to redo multiple areas that they said they already cleaned but clearly didn't. Shame on you Happy Home Helpers for not valuing your customers. Such a disappointment.
