I bought a Groupon for a massage a few days ago and just got home from a WONDERFUL massage…read more Everything I loved about it: - Time: the Groupon says 60 minutes, and I got a full 60 minutes of massage time. In my experience, this doesn't happen often. This did mean I left a few minutes after the hour once I got dressed, but that was fine by me! - Customization: At the beginning, Jessica explained how the massage normally goes. Based on my needs and requests, she explained that she'd change things to just focus on my trouble areas, which is exactly what I wanted. - Overall massage: I prefer deep tissue massages, and that's definitely what I got-- without any pain! I had a lot of tension in my back, and she worked through it very persistently-- I could actually feel the tense muscles releasing as she worked. My entire body feels significantly better from this massage. A few things to be aware of (not complaints, just pointing it out): - The studio is a little tricky to find in the Camac Center. Arrive a few minutes early to navigate the maze, or call Jessica and she will come find you. - As with many of the offices in the Camac Center, this place is quaint, and you don't get the frills of spa like a fancy receptionist and such (I wasn't expecting them). The atmosphere of the actual massage room was perfect though-- clean and tranquil-- and since that's where I spent the majority of my time, that's what I care about most. If your primary concern is a quality massage, then this is an amazing place and an amazing price!
