Checked ahead of time before making an official appointment to make sure my wife and I could get adjusted during my initial visit so we could have some initial relief from our joint pains. Emailed with the Hands-On Health team and provided my health insurance info. I was given this reply message, "Your visit will be at no cost this includes consult, exam & x-rays and adjustment for both! Your wives' visit would be $45." So I took the afternoon off from work to go into chiropractor office with the hope of some adjustment relief. After 30 minutes of X-ray and consultation, we both were told there will be no adjustments today. We both were very disappointed having been mislead. Now we are out of $45 and a filed claim with our health insurance company. Wish the Hands-On Health team was just more fully transparent at the start and stated there was potentially a chance we might NOT get adjusted during this first visit. This would have helped us decide if we wanted to make the appointment or find another chiropractor. Honest transparency is all we wanted. Wasted our time and should have just gone to 'The Joint Chiropractic' (4.9 stars Yelp reviews) as we originally had thought to do. Both of us were able to get assessed and adjusted within 10 minutes of our arrival along with a well priced 'relief, recovery, wellness' treatment plan and package which we purchased. read more

I have been getting adjusted by Dr. Falyn for about two years now. I came to her during pregnancy to help with lower back pain and my impending delivery. She treated me during my pregnancy and also my baby after he was born. After my baby's three month check up the pediatrician let us know he may need a helmet to round out his head but would discuss further at 6 months. I explained that to Dr. Falyn and she started doing cranial work on him weekly and rounded in his head out so we didn't have to buy one of those super expensive helmets! He went from have a flat head to a perfectly round one! This was about a year ago and I still visit for monthly adjustments. Please read. Dr. Meredith Grady and her practice have completely changed my mind about chiropractics. I've been to a number of them and Dr. Grady and Hands on Health staff are simply exceptional. They are not just about a revolving door of routine adjustments, but truly spend the time to assess and evaluate and determine the best approach. I suffered from a bulging disc(L3/L4) for 3 months before I discovered Dr. Grady. My condition progressively worsened from my neck to my back, arms and eventually to my finger tips. There were days where I could not sit up from bed without rolling off or lifting my head with my hands. Everyone I consulted with (about 12 people) with similar conditions had all undergone surgery. For me, surgery is a last last last resort. After Dr. Grady assessed my MRI's she was confident she could help me and never mentioned the surgical route. She asked me to commit to decompression for 5 weeks 4 days each week. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about the decompression machine, but after 2 weeks I realized my excruciating pain was gone, it was still uncomfortable with soreness and stiffness. Gradually after 5-6 weeks my pain was almost gone! I'm thrilled to say that it's been almost 2 months since my 5 week commitment to decompression has ended and I'm back to playing tennis twice a week, running and biking. I'm continuing decompression as maintenance each month for now and will move to quarterly. Please if you have similar conditions as mine, DO NOT immediately go to a doctor and go the surgery route. Dr. Chelsea saw me. Let's start from the beginning though... I was calling chiropractors to try to get in somewhere right away because I messed up my shoulder and was in a lot of pain. They could get me in the next day and took my insurance- great, until I got there. They took x-rays and tapped and pushed all over my body then told me they'd adjust me NEXT time- what? That was a Friday so they couldn't see me again until Monday. I went in Monday and they went over my x-rays and told me I was messed up and would need 3 adjustments a week for quite a while at the bargain price of about $1600- what? I told them they took my insurance- meanwhile I'm talking to a doctor who knows nothing about insurance. She said because they didn't give me the proper form they didn't bother with my insurance- what? That wasn't their decision to make. So she said they'd deal with that next time and just charge me for an adjustment today- what? I want to pay my copay which is less than half of what they wanted to charge. Then she says they're going to warm me up for an adjustment... I thought that was a heated water table or roller table like every single other chiropractor's office I've ever been to... nope- they want me to work out in the middle of the flippin' office- what? Now I have to work AND overpay you to get a way-overdue adjustment- what? I walked out and am not going back. read more
