But this isn't that type of place. I have a Bernese Mountain Dog - large breed- and my regular vet doesn't provide spay and stomach tacking services for such a large breed. So I started digging and found Lancaster Animal Clinic. IT WAS ALL DOWNHILL FROM HERE. My FIRST consult was with a female vet that gave my dog an exam, but told me she couldn't perform the surgery. If I wanted my dog's spay and stomach tacked, I'd have to have another consult with ON THE SPOT, which is a separate provider that uses their location. At the end of this visit, I was charged for a consult fee and for ear infection treatment. This was completely paid for, in full, no disputes. But a little frustrating when this could have been avoided by the staff when scheduling my appointment because seeing another vet would mean another consult fee... but still I wanted my dog to see the correct vet. So I made a SECOND consult appointment, in July, and came back to see the ON THE SPOT vet, Dr. Reynolds. During this visit, Dr. Reynolds examined my dog, talked to me about the spay and stomach tacking procedure, and I was very clearly uneasy about this and said I wanted to think about it and the associated cost which he quoted as $2,500. The vet also noticed during this visit, a skin irritation on my dog, and offered a special shampoo and pills. I DECLINED and said I would take my dog to our regular vet, but Dr. Reynolds said he would take care of it at no additional charge. I thought this was extremely considerate given I had been at the clinic multiple times and charged for multiple things without ever receiving the services I was there in consult for.... Can you guess what happened next?... I receive a bill, IN NOVEMBER, almost 5 months after the consult, saying that I owe the consult fee and the medication. When describing the situation to the staff, I'm treated as if I'm lying and neither the clinic staff, ON THE SPOT staff, or Dr. Reynolds can acknowledge a miscommunication on their part. I'm asked questions by their billing staff quoted from email "If you were going to get them through your regular vet., why did you take them? If you had any concerns about the fee for the medication why not ask before you left." I had absolutely no reason to confirm something that I thought was perfectly clear to me at that time. This clinic along with ON THE SPOT only want your money. They don't care if you've been a good client, they don't care about your pet...and they don't care about you... I was taken advantage of during my interactions with the clinic's staff and with Dr.Reynolds. I was completely misled which is highly dishonest and unprofessional. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE! Update 12/9/2022: In response to the comment left by the clinic on Google to clarify a few MORE "miscommunications." Harley was well within the healthy weight for a Bernese Mountain Dog and NO where in her records shows obesity. In her examinations it was suggested to switch her from puppy to adult food to PREVENT obesity. During the exam with Dr. Reynolds - he in fact DID NOT recommend postponing the surgery. He said the skin irritation was not serious enough to cause him concern if we moved forward. AND I didn't just leave...I walked out with a vet tech and even asked what I needed to do before I left. Just PLEASE if anyone is considering coming here - DON'T! I'm really trying to keep pet owners from going through this with their furry loved ones.

My dogs are my #1 priority and I wasn't going to leave them with just anyone. When I got there Gary gave me a tour and I was really impressed with how clean everything was. There was lots of room for the dogs not to feel cramped in their run and they also had access to outside. He plays with the dogs and walks them daily and treats them as if they are his own. My dogs both warmed up to him really fast and hardly even noticed when I left-which is rare! He even let me park my camper at the place which was totally above and beyond. This daycare is great because there aren't shared toys and extra items that often help spread normal canine viruses, etc. The concern about Kennel cough can happen with any dog anywhere because the vaccines are not 100% effective on all strings of viruses, but I will say that this daycare takes extra measures by not having shared toys that can increase this risk.

They always come home happily exhausted from the fun they've had. I also use them for boarding and have been very happy. I love that PAD is cage-free, and that Sophie and Oliver can stay together in a nice, spacious room with their own beds, blankets, and toys. The boarding cost is all-in and includes daycare so by the end of the day, the pups are worn out and ready for sleep making the "boarding" less stressful for them. I can't imagine going back to boarding where they are cooped up 24x7 except for a couple of walks each day. The team responds quickly to messages requesting updates during boarding, which is very much appreciated, and they go out of their way to post pics on Instagram so I can see Soph & Oliver while I'm away (see pics below). I do pay a few bucks extra for exit baths when they board, but it's well worth it after a week of playing ALL day. They come home fluffy, clean, and very happy after their "vacation." If you're looking for daycare or boarding, owned and staffed by dog lovers, definitely check out Play All Day. I have a daycare/boarding facility less than five minutes from my home, but I feel strongly enough about PAD that I'm happy to drive the extra 20 minutes to get there.

Your Divinek9 offers several types of training (on-leash training, off-leash training, etc.). I opted for the off leash training so I'd have better control over my dog at my parents non-fenced property in the country. My pup can now heel, sit, down wait, stay, come and knows place. She also helped work with him on some trouble areas for me: greeting people, cat manners and brushing. We have a few brush-up appointments (mostly to make sure I'm doing things correctly). Also, the connection Mitzi has with dogs is wonderful. I'm a super over-protective dog momma and she is one of the few people I'd leave my dog with while away and not worry about him.
