Challenges - find one that is not high volume, one that has high sanitary standards, one that uses water (Waterless nail procedures are not for me.), one that has expanded operating hours, etc. When I lived in San Antonio, I used to go to Woodhouse Spa monthly. Then we moved back to Austin and had to start my search all over again. Fortunately, they had a Woodhouse Spa near my house. Then it got bought out by a facial spa. There was one solo Woodhouse Spa I frequented in Cedar Park, TX until it closed its nail spa. Thus, I have been bouncing around but have not found one that meets all my nail needs. Therefore, I decided I will go to Woodhouse when I visit San Antonio 1-2 per month. Today I had a pedicure at Woodhouse after not having a pedicure for about a month. My big toenail split. Fortunately it was the thin top layer, but it scared me a bit. Woodhouse Spa's vibe is serene, peaceful and calm. The spa colors are warm - beige, brown, off white. They offer massages and facials also. When you arrive you check in at the front desk and then you are escorted to a waiting area where they bring you the beverage of your choice. Their dressing room has complimentary toiletries. My pedicure was done well. Look forward to returning...

Every Sunday, I receive a 90-minute firm massage, and Amber has consistently provided one of the most professional, therapeutic, and genuinely enjoyable experiences I could ask for. What sets Amber apart is not simply her technical ability--although her skill, strength, and technique are outstanding. She is incredibly attentive to her clients and has an impressive ability to understand what the body needs. She listens, remembers, and consistently adjusts her approach to ensure that every session is effective and personalized. After five years of regular appointments, I continue to leave each session feeling physically renewed, relaxed, and significantly better than when I arrived. Amber has mastered the balance between providing the firm, therapeutic pressure I prefer and ensuring that the experience remains comfortable and restorative. Her consistency is remarkable. Whether I arrive feeling stressed, physically tense, sore, or simply in need of my weekly reset, I know I am in capable hands. Beyond her professional expertise, Amber is dependable, personable, respectful, and genuinely committed to providing an exceptional client experience.
