We were always on the go and David and his team was there the entire day photographing everything. It was great! David has a great eye for capturing the right moment in our photos. For one of our wedding events, I didn't even notice when David was around. After looking at my parents' photos, David was basically inches from my arm taking close up pictures of our tea ceremony and licee envelopes. I couldn't believe that I didn't notice him. It was great because he was not invasive or annoying. We went to the beach with the bridal party after the ceremony and we took some great pictures that we all felt like we were at a magazine shoot. Everyone was looking at us and he had lights flashing everywhere. The picture came out AMAZING! David's professionalism and photo quality is top notch. His wedding package prices are well worth the value even over $5k since it included the album. With such an important day in your life, my husband and I wanted pictures that will last an eternity. We didn't want any regrets, and we do not regret having David as our wedding photographer.

I told my fiance that he was the one I wanted. We set up an appointment to meet with him. He was very laid back and friendly so I knew he'd be easy to work with. The reason that I like David's photography was because I really wanted a photojournalism style versus traditional. Photojournalism provides a series of more candid photos throughout the wedding day. Traditional pictures are usually posed and planned. I liked David because he provided a little of both. We took some posed pictures with our wedding party, our family, and some bride and groom shots. However, the posed shots weren't cheesy like you might see in some traditional shots. David was still able to make us look natural. David not only gave us prints, but he also provided us with a DVD of the pictures and the rights to make copies. Not all photographers will do that. I thought that made him worth the money. It took a little over a month to get our pictures, which isn't too long. However, I did have a hard time getting a hold of him when it came time to picking them up. I probably called at least three or four times before he contacted me. I think he was really busy during that time. Overall, My husband and I were very happy with our pictures and we are very glad with our decision.

I still do NOT have my wedding video link or the raw files on the USB drive as promised, 2 years after my wedding. Danny, the owner of Than Photo, has now stopped replying to my texts and emails asking for an update. I have been incredibly patient, waiting months for the final version of my wedding video, but he's stopped responding completely. I have reached out 13 times in the past 35 days and he hasn't replied once. This was after handfuls of attempts to reach him in July when he finally responded with a new date that week that he'd get me the video, which never happened. I am heartbroken that we'll never have our wedding video to show our grandparents who weren't able to make it to our wedding, and our future kids. We had planned on watching our wedding video on each anniversary but we will never be able to do this. I paid for a wedding video and ThanPhoto stole my money, not delivering my video. I have begged him every couple of days this past month to reply with an update and he hasn't. I can see my messages were delivered. This is beyond disappointing.

1 Star + :owner was able to offer reasonable price 1 Star +…read more:DJ accepted a playlist and showed up prior to event time 1 Star - :DJ played outdated songs during pre ceremony (not even close to the playlist which was designed to cater to our guests) and sound quality was bad (weak base and soft) 1 Star - :we provided a tent to help protect the DJ from unexpected rain even if it wasn't part of the contract. it rained. we had the DJ relocated indoor. the DJ did not communicate to us how long it will take for him to reset. by the time the DJ finished resetting, garter/bouquet toss and first dance are done and most of our guests are gone. we had to use our own speaker and our own songs to play. it was frustrating because we missed out on all of the fun dancing with our guest, they left because it was so quiet. 1 Star - : owner did not offer any sympathy towards our experience. he stated that his equipment is state of art and that we provided a playlist to be played only during the reception (it took us time to write the list off songs and none was played). Finally when I asked for a refund (asking only to charge us for DJ transportation) the owner refused, he said they're small company and cannot afford to refund instead he offered a free DJ service for future events. Now, when will we ever use that? And the sad part... WE CAN NEVER TURN BACK TIME for missed opportunity of having a fun wedding to our guests. We are VERY FRUSTRATED.

He didn't have the decency to tell us he was pulling a bait and switch on us and when I complained and asked for some of my money back, he offered me $100 provided that I sign a piece of paper saying he did a good job and I would not post a negative review. Guess what Rick? I am not a happy customer and I am wondering how many of your customers you bought off. PS: RIck's wife, Edna, did a mediocre job and there were several problems that reduced the quality of the special event. The primary reason for my unhappiness is that I did not get what I paid for. Not showing up to your own gig is very unprofessional and anyone considering hiring Rick to DJ their event should think twice. If you do hire him, edit his contract before you sign it.
