I was unable to carry our bigger luggage because of a recent rib injury but our driver readily got them from our home to the car then from the car to the station curb. The Lincoln Town Car was the older sleek style with that superb suspension that makes that car smooth; great for me as my injuries make any jolts painful. The car was very clean and quiet and had fully functional seat belts; not always found in some car services and not to be taken for granted. When we took a cruise earlier this year, we drove our car to Bayonne Harbor. The cost of parking for a week was not a real bargain vs the round trip limo. Lesson learned. At our relative ages, it's not so unwise to spend a few extra dollars and have less to worry over. Mid Island Car Service will be there waiting for us on our return home.

My sister may sound young but she is not and even if she was, is that any reason to treat a potential customer like crap? She didn't even ask her name, or the time or even where to pick her up. My mother then called and the same woman argued with her about being rude to my sister. You need to hire better people to answer your phones. I am disgusted, disappointed and will never use this car service again. We found a better one with kind people answering the phone. I now use Dial 7 and Uber for all my rides. Why even bother with Mid Island if you can avoid it.

The room for improvement suggestion for PDQ would be to give one price when quoting transport off of the island, instead of itimizing it. Customers might get confused when tolls are quoted. Telling customers that the price includes transport and tolls is understood better.

If it had been one of the car services local to where I live, I feel it would have been about $15 less before toll. I feel ripped off - nearly $50 spent for a less than 20 minute trip. The first day both buses were late by 1 hour because the dispatcher didn't bother to read the email I had sent on Tuesday preceding the weekend. She literally said this, "I didn't read you email sent on Tuesday." Then we had to review the schedule several times so people understood when and where they had to be. Then on Sunday, we had a happy-go-lucky driver, who was competent but very aggressive bus driver. He ran over a few things on the road with passengers in the car - like lime scooters and median divides. Then the other driver when they arrived to the hotel had no idea who they worked for or why they were summoned to the hotel. That was interesting to witness to say the least. How do you not know who you work for and why you're at a location to bus people around? So with that, Haas has no interest in using their services next year. I reached out to the bus company we used in 2018 and already have a quote to reserve services for next year. This whole situation is definitely not a reflection on you but on the level of actual service this company could perform up to. I also had trouble reaching them by phone, they never return phone calls unless I left 2-3 messages and same with emails, it took 2-3 times to get a reply.
