This is one of the worst meals I've had in my life the owners should be ashamed. If they had any decency they would close the door permanently. Service is subpar messed my girlfriend's order up. Restaurant is barren and boring. Food portions for a $20 plate is laughably the sushi is terrible soup was cold. Don't waste your money folks. I ordered steak and scallops. Two small scallops that were cut in half to have the appearance of 4 and 4 small chunks of steak. Seriously worst place I've ever eaten at. read more

Great. Why did I never eat here before? Usual reasons. Must not be good. Doesn't look busy enough. Etc... Friend of the wife said hey, lunch is great! So we stopped in. And it was. It is. The salmon sushi was just perfect as well. I'm giving it five stars, for price, but mostly, location. I can get this quality of food, in the Marc's plaza? Stunned, honestly stunned, at how good this food is. Bento box, granted, and salmon maki, but will be back soon to hit up the rest of the menu! read more

I had placed a order and it was supposed to be done I then got there and still had to wait 20 minutes this is absolutely ridiculous... this restaurant needs better management read more

Food was amazing, service is good, ambiance is good. Overall, ten out of ten. I really like the habatchis

I placed a $50.00 order for dinner tonight (3-16-2021) ordering Won Ton soup, Egg rolls, Chichen fried rice, Chicken and Shrimp fried rice and Sweet and Sour Chicken. When it arrived I opened the container of soup to find a rather large bug floating on top of the soup. Needless to say my stomach flipped and I immediately called the restaurant to complain. After telling the woman on the phone what we had found, she started laughing and said that somebody just must have missed seeing it. I was taken back by her response. This is a white container of clear liquid and this bug was at least a half inch in length, how could it have not been seen? This made me question what bugs might have made their way into the fried rice as well since the rice is the same color as the bug! Again she just laughted at me and said things like that happen. Are you serious? She asked what I wanted her to do, so I told her I wanted it credited back to my credit card. With another chuckle she told me they Could not do that unless I returned all the food. Why would they want that food back? To perhaps send it out in another order? Instead i will just be doing a charge back with my credit credit card tomorrow morning. PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER RESTAURANT! CLEARLY THIS PLACE HAS LESS THAN SANITARY PRACTICES OR CONCERN FOR WHAT THEY ARE SELLING PEOPLE. read more

We ordered take out hibachi and sushi. The hibachi was watery and we found a hair in it The sushi was okay, but was a little pricey for what we got. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. read more

Good Sushi, we always order maki rolls and enjoy them every time. Usually for takeout but we've dined in as well and it was nice.

This resturant offers a unique atmosphere. It's a place you would be surprised to find locally, fresh ingredients brought me back. As well as great prices to enjoy with the whole family as well as a private dinner with close company. My favorite fish-Salmon was on par with some flavors I've experienced in Columbus and California. Overall the staff is well versed in the menu and are open to create your own platters unlike some traditional japanese resturants close by. A resturant experience I am glad to return to. The Kiss of Fire is a fine roll. read more

Hana - a plate of sushi rolls - Japanese Near Me - Austintown, Ohio

I stopped by here for lunch today and I've got to say that their sushi is very unimpressive. Perhaps, I was foolish to think that a sushi restaurant in a small town called Austintown would possibly be ok, but unfortunately I had my hopes up a little too high. I've had some incredible food in some tiny places in the middle of nowhere, but just not this time. Everything tastes freezer burned and had an aftertaste. Their prices are reasonable, but their food is just not good. The soup was ok. There are two Chinese restaurants right by this place that I wish I would have dined at instead. The hostess/server (Helen?) really needs to be able to speak and understand English, as opposed to knowing only a few specific words and doing lots of pointing. When working with customers that mainly speak English, it would make things much less frustrating for both parties. read more

I've gone for sushi about 8 times now. I really am impressed with the rolls, sushi, and sashimi. A particular favorite of mine is the Salmon Lover's Combo. I do think some of the rolls may be a dollar or two over priced. But, these masks are delicious. Extremely friendly service, both In dealing with carry out as well as dining in at the Sushi Bar. Bottom Line: Good Stuff!! read more

Food was great and the presentation was beautiful, using sauces to make a unique display. The gyoza was perfectly done and the sauce was one of the best we've had. We loved the Volcano roll, had a perfect little kick to it. read more

I keep reading good reviews but I didn't think the food was very good. First the menu was very hard to figure out so I settled on something that they called a "Box" for $8.99 that appeared to come with a salad. What I got was some chicken crap over white rice. I asked about the salad and they lady didn't understand I'm guessing because she kept pointing to the white rice.I'm thinking white rice might be Japanese salad? Once we went to check out I was charged $12.99,which I tried to ask about but nobody understood. Personally I won't go back. And for the price you people are pay for sushi there,it better be darn good1 read more

I went when they opened and it was pretty good because everything was fresh. Now 4 months later they still have their grand opening sign in the front and the fish isn't all that fresh. It's not rancid or anything like that, but it go that distinctive fishy taste you can really tell when you order sushimi. The rolls easily fall apart and the specials and combinations are not the great. If you want good sushi that tastes fresh that isn't too far check out Toko in Streetsboro. IMO all the sushi places around Youngstown are sub par. read more

Food was delicious looking and definitely up to par with other local sushi options. Staff was friendly, if a little absent during the meal. Environment was indeed dark, and i could do without the sad music, but it was relaxing and quiet above all. A nice, "secret" gem that you wouldn't know from its exterior. read more

If rating based on the appearance of the place I would give a one star. From the weeds in the parking lot to the bag of salt left from winter on the sidewalk there is much to be desired. The inside is also nothing to write home about. However the service was attentive and the food was good. I had the chicken hibachi meal. The rangoons were tasty, the chicken tender and flavorful, the California rolls were not typical but were good. My husband had a sushi combo and he said the fish wasn't as flavorful as we are used to in California but it wasn't bad. We both agreed that we would be back. read more

Visited this Japanese restaurant and have to say I'm upset at the quality and taste of the food. Not only is the restaurant small and sort of dirty, but the food they give you is nothing compared to the other local hibachi restaurants. Don't waste your money here. read more

I ate here a few times and the food was ok. My last visit after finishing my meal I looked at the soy sauce bottle and saw dead fruit flies inside of it. The food also made me sick to my stomach later that day and the next. This was my last visit and I won't be back. read more

Every time I went there. There was a bug in my drink. Every. Time. The bento box tasted cheap. Should've went to Bills place instead.

If I could rate this a 0 star I would! It was a waste of 40$ the meat was spoiled and neither of my entrees were fresh. There are far better hibachis around here and I will never give my money to this place just to throw my food away. The only thing that was edible and I stress the word just edible was the sushi. The yummy sauce smelled like vinegar and tasted like it. The clear soup looked and tasted days old. The rice was hard and absolutely disgusting that I almost hurled. Then to top it off the meat had to be spoiled. Idk how in the world this place received good reviews with slop like that. NEVER AGAIN read more

This place is really dark inside. The food is not as good as Mizu. For example, the ginger salad was bland and super watery. Also, the yum yum sauce is pink and different tasting. Not horrible, but not great either. The hibachi shrimp was good, but the fried rice was dry and bland. Service was pretty good and they were really friendly which you don't get sometimes at Mizu. read more

The place had a terrible odor. The hibachi salmon was ok. I ordered white tuna sashimi. The sushi "chef" and I use that term with hesitation, had absolutely no idea how to slice sashimi. The wait staff could tell that I was not satisfied and they made no attempt to find out why. I have tried this place once before and was not satisfied. I doubt I will ever be back. read more

Great prices food not add flavorful as other places but the price I paid was 6 compared to 13 for lunch hibachi. Also had a nice setting very dark but inviting. I enjoyed it and if they added a dash of garlic or other herbs/seasonings they would hey a 5 out of 5! read more

Got rainbow roll Philly roll volcano roll and hibachi chicken and rice. Food was better than expected and cheaper than what I thought it was going to be. Listen I've moved away and I can't stop thinking about their sushi! Seriously some of the best in the area and plus they have a drive through! The special rolls are some of the best combinations in the area I feel too. My top fav are the fried amazing shrimp roll, Spanish volcano, and the fried champion roll. Oh don't forget about fried rice with pink sauce on top! It's seriously the one tastiest sauces ever! read more

Fantastic food, had a dragon roll with crab instead of eel, delicious, food and service is always very good

The food was great for the price. Everything was fresh, the portions were great, and we were stuffed when we left for under $30. I've seen some negative reviews, but perhaps they're a little inconsistent then, because our experience was great. Definitely going back soon. read more

I have no complaints about their sushi. I've been there twice, once dine in and once take out, and sushi has been great so far. Definitely coming back! read more

Pass. There are other, better hibachi grills and Japanese restaurants out there. The hibachi here is sub par as far as taste. You also get a smaller portion that is the same price, if not more, than other places. And you only get either the salad or soup, not both like is typical. Not to mention the "yum yum" sauce is pretty blah. Don't forgot the rap music playing - cause that's not weird for a hibachi place or anything. So, for less food that doesn't taste as good, and is the same price or more to the competition? Yup, that equals a pass. read more

I got the yakisoba and it was really good and was at a very good price. Other Japanese restaurants in the area you can't say that. Sushi is good and fresh. For being close to home it's okay, quick fix for the craving, and decently priced. However, the female Asian server does not understand simple English. When I told her that I personally wanted 2 lunches and both with salad, I only received 1 lunch special. This is not first time this has happened. The last time we were in there another server had to fix the meal order because she messed up and we wrote a note on the receipt. Apparently she has not learned. We have decided to ban the restaurant. read more
