I decided to pop into their Skin Renewal Center to see what they offered. I wish I had gotten the name of the woman who "helped" me. She saw me walk in, turned her back and when I was waiting at the counter she turned again and asked if someone was helping me. I laughed (thought she was joking) and said no. She asked with rolling her eyes, what i needed. I replied with "what do you offer here?" It was like pulling teeth. She made it abundantly clear I wasn't welcomed. She was condescending and mean. Also on my very first visit, Dr. Stawiski came in, talked at his tape recorder or assistant - coldly clinical and almost never addressed me, then was gone in under 3 minutes. I'd rather find a practice that is responsive and a doctor who sees a person and not just a number sign. The place is nice and clean, and the staff is friendly but that doesn't make me want to return. Ever.

With the extremely strict deadlines for Ipledge, everything has to get entered in on time and it was not, as everything was done correctly on my end. I was told I would have to redo all of the bloodwork and pregnancy tests and wait another month because they did not enter it in when it needed to be, after I had been waiting for years to get my acne under control and finally thought I was getting somewhere. Found this doctor to be unusual. Spent a few seconds freezing two spots from a hand held wand…read morewithout ever asking me or discussing. They billed $125 for cryogenic surgery, ha, ha. Was in his office for 4 minutes and the charge was $215 which would be like $3,225 an hour and insurance only covered $79. Waited at front desk for 5 minutes as it was unattended when I arrived. Shop around.
