Nice to look at and the people are nice enough, but they never respond to messages left in voicemails. And that is how you get ahold of them most times. Also on my very first visit, Dr. Stawiski came in, talked at his tape recorder or assistant - coldly clinical and almost never addressed me, then was gone in under 3 minutes. I'd rather find a practice that is responsive and a doctor who sees a person and not just a number sign. I would not go here. I was going to go on Accutane, and got all of the bloodwork and pregnancy tests done- 30 days apart. The office did not enter it into Ipledge on time. With the extremely strict deadlines for Ipledge, everything has to get entered in on time and it was not, as everything was done correctly on my end. I was told I would have to redo all of the bloodwork and pregnancy tests and wait another month because they did not enter it in when it needed to be, after I had been waiting for years to get my acne under control and finally thought I was getting somewhere. Try getting ahold of the office to get results of a biopsy....good luck. They will give you a site to look up results. Problem...No results listed. I always appreciated Dr. Stawiski and his straight forward approach, but this is unacceptable when after two weeks I still cannot get someone to call me back or even to talk to me. STAY AWAY! Waiting on the phone for 1 1/2 hours - started 7th in que. Finally got through to hear a message that they were out to lunch and leave a message. Horrible communication skills, no follow ups, wait months to get scheduled for appt. This office is a joke and should be out of business. I wouldn't refer anyway to this office and would tell current patients to run as fast as you can to someone else. Care isn't the greatest either. I will not use this office again. I was concerned about spots on my scalp. This dermatologist ???. Assured me that I did not have skin cancer. A few weeks later I was seen by another dermatologist recommended by the VA. Dr. Wm Cullen found considerable skin cancer on my scalp and removed it by surgery. I had a great experience at this office. They get you in and out in a timely fashion. The staff is knowledgeable and good listeners. The only problem is getting someone to answer the phone to make an appointment and then it's like a 3-6 month wait. But once you get in, they are quick to get you seen and get you back as often as needed. The Grand Rapids office is way way nicer than the Jenison office , I always go here when I can. read more

If I could leave negative stars, I would. This office so was incredibly horrible to deal with. I waited 6 months for an appointment and was seen by Dr. Stawiski for literally 3 minutes. During this visit he didn't ask me a single question. He looked at the acne I was concerned about, and dictated his note in front of me describing my concerns as "superficial, minimal, and mild." He then told me a prescription would be waiting at a pharmacy and walked out. He did not give a single instruction, ask if I had questions, or spend a single moment attempting to gather any information about my concerns. To say he was a disappointment is an understatement. They are the worst people to work with. Every time I call and can't speak with an actual nurse, I leave a message. I leave all my information so they can give me a call back. They NEVER call you back. I've left several messages and waited a week and still nothing. What is the point of a nursing line if nobody calls you back? At this point, I directly call the receptionist demanding to talk to an actual nurse because nobody calls me back and that's when I get to talk to someone. That should not be the case. I have to result to that when they don't call me back after 72 hours. What if patients need prescription refills? It is very unprofessional in my opinion. Was recommended this office by Urgent Care and wish I would have stuck with my regular derm. Got an appointment date relatively quickly but waited in the lobby for an hour and ten minutes past my scheduled time. The office was extremely busy and disorganized. Worked at this office for a very long time. Dr Stawiski is a very kind man, however he is checked out. I realized it was time to move on when I myself did not feel comfortable seeing him as a patient. Realized if I couldn't trust to be evaluated by him, I should no longer work there. The last few years the management neglected the staff completely. Hoping for a turn around in this office. I know Dr Stawiski worked extremely hard to create a legacy. I highly recommend Dr. Stawiski. He is very nice, smart, and has a cool accent. He takes time to talk to you and explain what is going on, and is very efficient with your time. The office is clean and updated and all the staff is friendly. They accept United Health insurance. read more

Got recommended by my doctor, asked if there was a female doctor I could see. got there and was told no female doctor, wait 20 min female pa comes in , looked like she did not want to be there. 5 min prescription and gone, second visit another female pa. Told me pa 1gave incorrect prescription , these are the ones you need. "Call me any time if you have questions" she was very nice , but when she said first pa gave me incorrect cream I got worried. And calling taxes anyones patience , first through 4 th call 20 min wait no answer , gave up. i was always 2 nd caller. 5th call waited 40 min a lady gets on line tell her I need them to call pharmacy for new prescription as first not covered, this is 2 weeks after visit, i now am 1 month after visit still no cream. Still problem with coverage pharmacy called them no response. Dreading calling them again, patience running thin. Advise , go somewhere else.. read more
