Stayed at The Siren Hotel recently and had an overall decent experience, but for the price, I'm not…read moresure I'd stay here again. The location is definitely the highlight, it's right next to Tigers Stadium, close to Ford Field, and within walking distance of the NBA arena, plus tons of great restaurants and bars nearby. If you're in town for a game or event, the location is hard to beat. That said, the hotel itself felt small and a bit cramped. The room was on the smaller side, and the bed wasn't particularly comfortable for a hotel at this price point (around ~$350/night). For that cost, I expected wayyy more space and comfort. One downside was the hotel bar,I couldn't even get a seat and didn't realize you needed a reservation, which was frustrating and took away from the experience. It's not a bad hotel by any means, and it has a cool vibe, but overall it feels overpriced for what you get. Decent stay, great location just not sure the value is there.

Close proximity to the QLINE and stadiums(Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons). Has a great cafe(Siren Cafe') with a nice variety of items in the lobby along with a small restaurant and the Candy Bar which has a wonderful vibe and Happy Hour. Rooms are uniquely decorated and the bath products are amazing. The staff, especially Ivory at the reception desk is wonderful. Property is very CLEAN! I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

I technically haven't stayed here but two friends of ours got a room here today because they wanted…read moreto use the pool for some maternity photos. According to one friend, the first 2-3 rooms they tried didn't have working a/c (and it's July, currently). However, their suite was very nice - they had a small sitting room area with a Keurig, mini fridge, and TV, and large bathroom, and then the bedroom area, with another TV and I believe a king-sized bed. The only caveat: the door didn't lock. If you turned the knob upwards instead of down, it unlocked, no key needed. The pool was smallish but overall nice. There were a few large families/groups there, like groups of 5-10 people, but it's a Sunday so I suppose that's why. I ended up using the shower in their room and it was pretty nice, with Dove shampoo and conditioner, but a little slippery. Overall, if I was looking for a Southfield hotel to stay at, I'd consider this one, especially since it has free breakfast, but I'd definitely make sure the door locked.

When checking in the front desk clerk (shawn?) was very short and rude to my co worker telling him he booked my room wrong and caused him unneeded work. The next day the same man started talking back to a lady that was staying in the hotel. She asked for a trash bag and than another because they are not servicing the rooms because of covid. All my other experience with the staff have been uninviting. Seem to be troubling them to look up from there phones. On my check in day I asked the front desk to address a concern in my room. My smoke detectors (2) have been ripped of the ceiling and covered in a trash bag. 4 days later and 2 times a day I have notified the front desk and been told someone is on there way to fix and no one has done so. My room smells both of cigarettes and weed. Nothing has been done. My last night of my stay the the smoked Alarm went off at 11pm probably because of the hase that fills the hallway from all the weed smoke billowing fromm the smoke free rooms.

This place has such great potential. It's just considered…read moreamazing hospitality to allow guests to check in if their room is ready and they are there early. I've never in my life stayed in a room that did not allow early check in. Too much micromanagement. Stop taking advantage of out dated covid policies to save money and offer coffee and snacks for guests again.... Stop being so rude about check out time. I've never stayed in a place with such stringent policies. Ever. As far as the hotel itself goes, it's mediocrely cute, needs some updating and could be amazing. It's just blah. At the local days inn at least I can get a free breakfast. Open the pool, covid is killed by bleach

Not exactly sure how this place stays in business other than hotwire tricking people in to staying…read morethere. Hotwire gives Roberts Riverwalk 3 1/2 stars which is seriously not true at this point. Negatives: AC does not work in all of the rooms. Check in was terrible took about an hour was actually sent to 2 wrong rooms with the 3rd our final destination but it still wasn't right. One of their issues is their check in process is out of date and they still do everything by paper. Staff - was 50/50 about 1/2 didn't care and was rude and the other half where ok. Rooms are in need of updates and everything is seriously worn for example carpets, fixtures, furniture. It was seriously difficult to get extra sheets for the hose a bed. Attention to detail is lacking, with dirty carpets that need vacuuming, windows that need a wash and general dusting. I'm assuming it's basically it's just run down from years of a lack of a maintenance program. Positives : They did have 24 hour security. It's a really old cool building with lots of potential right on the river. The river walk area seems nice. I was told that they are refurbishing and updating the hotel. The sheets and towels where clean. Soap was provided. If you are staying here good luck! I seriously hope the place gets better. As of the date of this review it's not good.
