We were already in Greensboro for the weekend so driving to downtown High Point wasn't too far out of the way. We just needed an appointment ASAP for an upcoming trip out of the country! The confirmation email I received after scheduling our appointment online asked for us to arrive 10 minutes early, and I can see why because at 2:30 PM they were really busy! This post office has a sign up on the wall asking for a limit of 4 people to be inside at a time, which people were clearly not following, but there was no one in the separate room for the passports, so it was fine for us... At least everyone was wearing a mask! The woman helping us get our applications in order was very friendly, helpful, and made great small talk while we were there. My appointment for 2 adults was scheduled from 2:30 - 3:00 but we got everything taken care of, including photo (and a retake or two), and were out of there within 15 minutes! I was pretty impressed. On our way out, we did encounter someone asking us for a dollar, which is always a little uncomfortable, but other than that, the passport service here was 5 stars from me.

When you work at a company like this you are supposed to deliver mail etc to the right address. How come people can't pay attention to what they're doing while working? It's not that hard to do so. The Deets: When I visit my parents, we go to do many of our errands over in Lewisville (or if a larger trip is in order, Winston-Salem of course). Lately we've needed to stop by the Post Office in Lewisville and it's a pretty nice one. It is definitely an upgrade from the one that was in Lewisville when I was younger. There is plenty of parking at this one and it is not ever near full on my visits, plus there is a convenient drive-up mail drop off in the parking lot as well. Inside the nice brick building, there is a modern, clean, well kept service area with two staff service desks, drop off area, and plenty of PO boxes in the lobby. On my last visit, I went inside and both desks were staffed which made the three person line move very quickly while there. In a time when many reflect disappointment when making a USPS visit, I am here to say this one does the job from what I've seen.

If it was possible to give this place zero stars, I would. And it seems my review may not be…read morenecessary with the slew of other terrible reviews. However, the employee who prompted this review, clearly wanted it. As this post office is usually packed, I prefer to use the self service machine. I have prepaid QR codes that I simply scan and I'm on my way. However, sometimes I need to buy packaging, which is a feature on the machine. The other day, I grabbed a bubble mailer and went to pay for it at the machine, like I have many times before. As I am approaching the door, one of the associates yells in front of everyone " you can't leave with that", insinuating that I was trying to take it without paying. I then informed him I was taking it to the machine so I could pay for it when I scanned my QR code. He continued to tell me I could not leave the store with it, although the machine is inside the store. As he proceeded to argue with me in front of everyone, I had no choice but to get in the long line to pay for my packaging. Once I reach the desk and he processed my transaction, a survey came up on the machine- he asked me "if I was going to click the red button since I was mad". So on top of accusing me of stealing, he been unprofessionally berated me about being unhappy of the situation and prompting me for a bad review. Anyway, per his request here is his review! I make it a point to buy my packaging elsewhere and never go into that store again.
