I have brought it the the leagues attention after i tried to communicate with the coach. I got no response back from the coach. The leauge stuck up for there coach and told me i make bold statements. The coach continued to let the team captain belittle the other players. The coach wouldnt let some kids play only 5 to 10 minutes of the game because they suck. Way to go beach Fc. Very disappointed even know i tried to get help from the coach and league.

The restrooms could be better maintained but it's understandable when it's packed with people for multiple events throughout one weekend. The restrooms are never dirty, but toilet tissue and hand-soap have been scarce at times. They offer a concession area, which is pretty pricey. Today I purchased a Starbucks premade cold coffee and it was $7.50 before tax. And a small hot coffee which was $4.00. I could have gone to Starbucks and had an actual treat. The food items are also priced pretty high, for simple things, like chicken tenders. I do appreciate the staff here, very friendly, informative and welcoming. You are able to purchase tickets online which makes entry easy, they also allow you to purchase entry tickets at the ticket windows, outside. Overall this is a very well run facility. I've patronized a few other sportsplex for my children's sporting events and this one is by far my favorite.

Smaller parking lot but there is far more parking in the back area by the golf course. It's famous for the two weekends a year in spring during the Cherry Blossom Festival hosted here. Alas, the lines to pull in are SO long, I have avoided it and never seen it in action - though, it's on the bucket list for some day. It's cute and small, and worth a visit if you're in the area, but it's nothing to make a trip across town solely for under normal circumstances.

There's also a wide range of people and body shapes. It's never usually that busy to where you can't get to the equipment you need. Their classes are included in the monthly fee. They also have a couple different pools, an outdoor water park, putt putt, and tennis courts. They have a sauna and each locker room but it's kind of small. I also wish they had a regular hot tub but they do have a small saltwater pool that is warm. They offer child care and discounts on your monthly fee depending on your financial status and if you're a city or school employee. Also the concession stand is closed and there is only one small table set up with a single person selling hotdogs. That is totally not sufficient for the number of people who are here today. Looks like bad planning on the part of the city. Also, due to the rain the overflow parking lot on the grass is mostly mud and cars are having a hard time getting in and out.

There were giant craters in front of of every pitcher's mound. I witnessed a pitcher fall mid pitch because of one of the craters. The umpires had to take their personal waters and try to wet the mound area and fill in the crater so the game could continue. There was no one for three days grooming the fields. There was no rake to be found. The concession stand has not been open for years. That isn't the worst thing! On a sunny Sunday at 3:00, the park suddenly shortened the times of the semi final and championship games to drop dead times because they wanted to close at 5:15! The city didn't care how much it cost to be in this tournament. Renter beware! Virginia Beach is very difficult to deal with, and this facility unfortunately sucks! They don't maintain this complex. I live here, and I am telling you to book your tournament at Stoney Run, Williamsburg, Richmond, or anywhere else.
