This is seriously one of the nicest stays in a hotel I have ever had. Stayed last week overnight for a wedding, and that was just one of many pros to staying here as it was only four minutes driving distance from the venue. Check in was smooth, room was very nice and clean with spacious bathroom and shower, and a very comfortable bed. Also had a big flat screen TV. Immediately before I left for the wedding the lady behind the desk asked if my stay was ok which was so nice. They offer you free water which is another bonus, and the continental breakfast was very good. Kayla at the front desk was so incredibly nice. When we arrived at this Hampton, it was around 7pm, and the check-in counter was empty with a sign that said someone will be back soon, so we waited about 20 minutes. That has never happened to us before. I booked a reservation for a Friday, but the Hampton accidentally booked us for a Sunday night, so when we arrived on Friday. We did not receive an email confirmation, so I did not think about double checking the dates. That has never happened to us before either. Sadly, The Hampton was booked so we could not get a room for Friday night. The reservation clerk told us to try the hotel next to them, but they were booked too. The hotel clerk next door, at Home2 Suites, let us hang out in their lobby and gave us free wifi, so we can look for another hotel. Unfortunately, we called 6 hotels, and they were all booked for Friday night. One hour later, we finally found a hotel with a room about 15 minutes north. read more

Incredible facility! Tasty breakfast with a variety of hot and cold items. Taunya, Sales Coordinator, is the absolute best. She gave us snacks and bottled water throughout our stay, and let us use the conference room to conduct conference calls. The hotel has evening snack time with cheese, crackers, veggies, cookies, and wine. Room was perfect with a very nice large walk-in shower, refrigerator, and many USB ports. Microwave is available near the front desk in the "store" area. read more

Really nice Hampton Inn. The staff are all very pleasant. I had the opportunity to speak with the maintenance person on duty this afternoon and he spoke about the importance of maintaining a clean and functioning gym, which is something I truly appreciate since I spend several days a week at Hilton properties. This hotel is really nice and very clean.The customer service is really great also. Our room was spacious and came equiped with a small fridge to store drinks or other food items. There is also a small coffee pot inside your room but they offer a 24 hour coffee bar in the breakfast area. The bathroom in our room was also nice and modern. The Hotel uses Neutogena products for hair, body and skin care which was a nice touch. On-site they have a fitness room and pool but I did not have a chance to visit either of these since my stay was short. There are not too many places to eat close by the Hotel so you may need to hop back on the 99 and go to the next exit to get other restraunt choices but thats not a big deal. My only issue with my stay was that around 4 am i woke up to my room smelling like cow poo and it was so strong. It is Turlock and there are quite a few farms near by so thats to be expected I guess. Just keep that in mind if you arent used to the smell of cow poo it may be off putting. Otherwise, its a great place to stay and has easy access on and off the 99. read more

I highly recommend this hotel! Definitely five stars without a doubt. Word of advice book the room if you are staying in Modesto or Turlock. I called the previous night & there were eleven rooms available. I didn't reserve it and when I got inside there were two gentlemen in front of me. Well the front desk employee notified them it was completely booked. OMG! I wanted to cry! Because I had read reviews of all the other hotels\motels nearby and this is by far the best. The other motels on their reviews showed pictures of bed bugs, cockroaches. This is the only hotel that had five stars. So I spoke to the front desk associate and he told me it was full. So we went to Dennnys to have dinner. It's right next to it on the corner. We were having dinner and I called back. He said there was one room. Turned out someone canceled. I later found out one of the men in line that night also got the room, he was traveling from Texas. Room was going to be $179 but i got a special fire evacuation discount of $91.00. Hotel is very clean, nice fresh lemonade in the front. I worked out in their nice gym. The attendant at night was kind enough to let me wash my clothes. The lobby area is very nice. We got two big queen beds with beautiful bedsheets, very clean and large room since it was a handicap room. We got lucky and it didn't matter, it was spacious. Breakfast in the morning is delicious. The clientele is definitely upscale. More business professionals. Very safe feeling atmosphere. Thank you to all who helped make this a very special and fun trip. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was professional and friendly. Everything worked as it should in the room. The shower had great water pressure and I loved that a hair dryer was readily available. I loved all the USB ports throughout the room especially the ones beside the bed. A brand new hotel just off the freeway, clean & nice! We enjoyed the great front desk staff and breakfast buffet staff. Once of the cleaner and friendlier hotels we have stayed at recently. The rooms are modern and the location is only 15-20 minutes from Modesto and the ballpark for minor league baseball. read more

I am giving this inn three stars instead of five because I was not happy about a few things. The room was nicely decorated and the price was reasonable but the walls and floors were so thin that you could hear every step the person made on the room above. I was also unhappy because we were told that my 2 year old toddler was being loud and neighbors were complaining at 8pm and telling us to try to keep her quiet. How do I keep a toddler quiet?? I am a paying customer too. I don't think they handled it all that well. I was a little frustrated and disappointed. If you have children beware walls are cheaply constructed and you will have quiet your children. read more

I am giving this hotel 5 stars even though I wish my room had had a safe, a bathtub (not shower) and a third sheet to cover the blanket. I only paid about $107 senior rate (plus tax) for an immaculate, large room, quiet, modern and well-kept, friendly and helpful staff, and a good hot breakfast. I recently stayed here on April 7 2018- April 8 2018. DO NOT TRUST LEAVING YOUR CAR PARKED IN THEIR PARKING LOT!! I have over $2000 worth of damages to my vehicle over someone going thru the parking lot smashing windows out. And not just one window. I had two windows on my navigator busted out and paint damage to go along with it. The hotel will do nothing to help me out in getting my car fixed. I have two toddlers I had to drive home 3 hours with and no side windows and little glass shards flying everywhere. The staff will act as if it was your fault and won't help you out at all. 4 vehicles got severely damaged on this night and everyone got an immediate refund except me because I booked thru hotels.com I'm very frustrated and upset with the way this was handled and I wouldn't suggest this hotel to anyone until the get parking lot security or something. read more

Wouldn't give us access to the room reserved by a family member even though specific instructions were given to the hotel to give us access to the room because we would be arriving first. Offered to pay cash but cash is not accepted even though the email confirmation clearly stated "cash or credit card deposit required at check in". Took us another 4 hours to find another hotel in the area that had a room available!!! We were exhausted! We have never had an experience like this with a hotel, ever! We travel for a living and frequently stay at hotels and RV parks. We will NEVER try stay at another Hampton property!!!!! Guest accommodation should be top priority. read more

horrible experience please stay elsewhere. this place is so loud we arrived at1am to check in driving from la and at 2:30am we started hearing very loud im telling loud noise coming from above our room we called front desk and the guy at front desk tells me to give 5min since they had checked in. well excuse me i need to be up by 6am. did not sleep at all these people were making so much noise the spund proofing is horrible, in the morning i called front desks same guy says well he can offer me point. honestly i stayed in a hotel to rest and paid $160 didn't get rest this place is the worst hotel ive ever started in. read more

We were attending a wedding in Ceres and decided to stay here for the night. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They were able to give us an early check in at 1pm and they happily gave us more shampoo and soap since there were 3 of us. The hotel itself is really nice! The room was very clean and the bed & pillows were amazingly comfortable! The included breakfast was also surprisingly good, it had a way wider selection than we expected! There was a waffle maker so I was immediately sold! I would highly recommend this hotel! We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area! read more

I stayed at the Hampton in SF the week of my wedding and never thought twice about booking again.Wrong.. For the most part, the hotel lobby and downstairs area was nice and the reception appeared to be friendly. The pool area was nice and clean as it being a surprising cool day. They put us in a handicap accessibly room and there was dirt on the walls and a gross shower. The thing that really ruined the stay, however,was me and my wife being woken up at calling the room to ask if they could get us anything at 8pm. I went downstairs to tell them that I didn't appreciate being woken up that late and was told by Jasmine that she in fact called and that its her job and she has an obligation to call everyone before 9pm. I told her to please not call late anymore and got in the elevator for her to actually follow me with another guest she was helping and continue to argue with me about her duties the whole way up when she overheard me talking to my wife about how most people in customer service just say sorry and leave it at that. Won't stay here again. Customer service goes a long way in the hospitality industry. One star because she was actually trying to argue with me on an elevator with another customer standing there looking awkward. I checked in at 3. Call when the sun is still up! read more

I got married at Pageo Lavender Farm in Turlock in July 2018. I reserved a room block at the Hampton Inn for my guests, as this hotel had the best overall reviews and was the closest to our venue. I had a pleasant experience when setting up the room block through the Hilton website and when emailing the staff directly to add more rooms as the date got closer. Upon checking in before the wedding weekend, we had a few hiccups finding multiple reservations in my name, since some were on the room block and some were not. The staff member at the front desk was curt with us, but eventually the manager came out and got everything sorted before my stress went through the roof! The hotel is extremely well maintained and provides a hot breakfast every morning between 6-10 AM. There is also a gym, pool, large parking lot, and the bedrooms are spacious with the basic amenities. After our wedding ended that Saturday night and guests came back to the hotel still excited to celebrate, the staff generously allowed us to use their empty meeting room so the party could continue, at no extra cost. I was very pleased with our stay at the Hampton Inn and would definitely recommend it! read more

A nice breakfast is provided each morning, and the following is available 24 hours a day: Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit (bananas and apples), and cookies. We booked the hotel to stay here. This guy named Bill was super rude and called the cops on us. Bad service with this guy who works there with his spikey hair. He should not be part of the Hampton name brand. This guy told us to leave hotel at 3AM then he woke us up at 6AM and said to leave the hotel again. Why would we leave hotel in middle of night. So out of the area this is probably the better place to stay. It's convenient and right off the free way but... there were a few negatives. There was a wash cloth left in the shower with "hairs" all over it, and toenail clippings on the carpet. The room is set up a little bit awkward. We were so excited to go to the pool and spa but they were both very dirty and the spa was green and had a rim of dirt on the seat. They have a continental breakfast and it was pretty good. read more

I loved my stay at this hotel. Clean, bright, modern yet cozy and comfortable. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with a handy small fridge. The pool area was very clean and the pool was large, warm, and very enjoyable. The breakfast deserves a special mention. It was not just good, it was outstanding. It had a choice of hot dishes, waffles, fruits, yogurts, cereals, fresh pastries, hard boiled eggs, and the most delicious fresh fruit salad. It was not your average fruit salad. In addition to melons, it had strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. The ladies working in the breakfast area were very welcoming and helpful. Coffee, hot tea, ice berry water, and homemade lemonade were available in the lobby throughout the day. Everything was very well thought through, welcoming, and comfortable. I loved my two-day stay so much that I've re-arranged my plans so I could stay in this hotel on my way back home instead of the other hotel that I've booked for the return trip earlier.
