The only thing they didn't have was bottled water but we were able to fill our canteens in the lobby. There is a Harris Teeter close by for your grocery needs. Thr morning breakfast has all that you need and stays stocked and the staff ensures the area is clean. The ONLY issue we had was a foul odor in our bathroom that they were unable to mediate which I'm sure was a sewer pipe issue but we were able to live with it using air freshener and keeping the bathroom door closed. For a tip: our kids LOVE swimming but this hotel has a seasonal pool so if you are coming during the winter months there is no pool access. Overall this place was very good. We would return. When I found out this is where the rehearsal dinner was, I booked. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. B&B care takers are gracious. There is a small kitchen open to use if you want to make your own meals. Coffee, tea, soda, and water available at all hours. Breakfast is served when you want...at least when you are the only guest. Morning Glory Inn is your chance to stay in a grand old house in the heart of North Carolina. I will book here in the future when I visit friends and family.

The bathroom with adjacent sink outside the door was a nice set up and worked. There was also proper supplies of towel and soap. The climate control kept the room comfortable. I utilized the FREE breakfast once and found it more than adequate with a lot of variety of both hot and cold. There was visible staff attending it and they kept the bar and dining room clean. I did interact with the staff quite a bit before departing due to a snow short that hit the area. They were nice enough to lend me items to clear my car. The lot unfortunately was not cleared, but few businesses were. I do plan on returning to this terrific property. 4.5, rounding up.

The owner of the Garner, NC location stated that since he was there he would do it.... There were 7 of us for lunch - he gave me only 5 one dollar bills. I guess we didn't all need a drink after being out in 90 degree heat for hours at graduation. Continental breakfast, hope you don't want bread. The English muffins and bread were hard as a rock. The last morning there the one and only waffle maker was broken. There was construction EVERYWHERE, including directly in front of the hotel. There was no outside benches or anywhere to sit if you wanted fresh air, unless you wanted to sit by the pool. We didn't expect a 5 star hotel, but it wouldn't take much to make it a much better experience.

Our room was a king with a sofa bed and it also had a mini fridge. It was quiet all night long. The location was great as we were in perfect proximity to Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. It's a great central location. As gold members, we were granted $15 in credit each day for breakfast. For $10 a day, you can enjoy cereals, breads, and other dry foods. For the additional $5, you can eat eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. We were happy to get this credit as it saved us a lot on breakfast in the mornings. The only silly part was that it was about $3 extra for pancakes or waffles. I've been to hotels all across the world and that's always included in the continental price. Odd and something to be aware of if you have littles, but didn't really matter to us. The gym and indoor pool were nice for the level of hotel. I'd recommend!

Our wedding coordinator was organized and incredibly helpful in managing the timeline, making sure everything ran smoothly and on schedule. One thing to note is that the venue is fairly strict about outside vendors not on their preferred list. Thankfully, our photographer already had liability insurance, but there were a few extra personal touches we had to forgo due to these guidelines. The complimentary suite included in our package was a highlight--spacious, beautifully designed, and perfect for getting ready with friends and family. The bed was very comfortable, though the multi-head shower took some getting used to. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches: handwritten notes, complimentary champagne and chocolates at check-in, and another bottle of champagne along with a small piece from the Michael Aram Anemone collection on our wedding night--such a special gesture. Food for both the cocktail hour and reception met our expectations, and many of our guests had great things to say about the quality and hospitality.
