I stayed here for the night of 3/8/2021, and had a very enjoyable time. Check-in was virtual, and the process was flawless. The room was nice and clean - there was a bit of a stale odor initially, but this went away after running the cooler for a bit. The bed was comfortable, and everything worked as it should. Fridge and microwave are standard with each room here. This is a busy area, so be prepared for some early am noise from other travelers. No biggie - this just motivated me to get up and get going earlier! Breakfast was complimentary, to-go, and extensive - see pic! Bagel, cream cheese, two hard-cooked eggs, yogurt, cereal, juice (or milk), and coffee. There is a neat area by the front desk that has an extensive selection of snacks and drinks to purchase. There aren't any restaurants near the hotel, so this is a nice option for hungry travelers! Staff was wonderful, and super polite! I'll be back! read more

Spent the night in Quincy stayed at the Hampton Inn. Right off I10. A number of hotels in this complex. Really comfortable beds - so slept well. We could hear some traffic on I10 but it wasn't very loud. With COVID all hotels are doing a bag for breakfast. The Hampton provided a bagel with cream cheese, apple juice, yogurt, two hard boiled eggs and coffee. They also had apples if you wanted one. Okay but miss the Normal hot breakfast. Rooms are cleaned then sealed (see my photo). It's a 4 comfortable but could use a major cleaning. (They did have a sign in the lobby stating they are remodeling- that's a good thing). read more

Terrible place. No place to eat around the hotel. Avoid exit 181 off of I-10. Drive on. No place that is not fast food. The hotels are dumps. Move on. The room doors can barely be kept shut! See picture of room 301. The door was destroyed where it is supposed latch! Then we got room 201. We could not trust the door. It was not much better. The carpets stunk. Front desk person (Shay) was extremely rude and disrespectful to us. Would not recommend at all.

Our room smelt like cat pee and the hotel was not very clean. The outlets in our room weren't working and we tried to get a different room, but was told they were fully booked. The parking lot was not full so I'm not sure how true that was, but this is not the usual Hampton Inn experience that we are use to. Kitchen door was open during breakfast and I could see the rat traps under the dish washing station. Desperate to leave in the morning. read more

We have stayed at this location several times over the past maybe decade. We are Hilton Honors Members. The Customer Service is always great from Front Desk to the breakfast attendant. Our kids, now teens have always loved the employee's at breakfast over the years. They treat them so well. We stayed recently in October 2021 for one night due to being in town for a funeral. We had my mom with us & booked a room for handicapped. The shower had mold around the edge. I asked to switch rooms & the Front Desk Clerk was super polite but had no other handicapped room. They did offer another room but she was unable to use the toilet due to being too low. She ended up staying in her room & showered in our room the next morning with our help to get in and out of the shower. The rooms felt humid and had an odd smell upon entering that took awhile to disappear. We had never encountered this before but the hotel has not been maintained over the years as needed. The rooms don't look as fresh as they once did. Since Covid, the breakfast area has changed & not for the best. It was blocked off & one attendent was helping us. Again, super polite but breakfast was lacking. A lot of menu items were missing. Two of our Teens got cereal but tossed it saying it was hard & gross. The exit off of I-10 doesn't have anything except the 3 hotels & a gas station. The closest thing is a Walmart about 7 minutes away. Quincy is a small town. Overall, this stay was pretty disappointing. We were sad to see how much the property hadn't been maintained. read more

After having a terrible stay at Tru by Hilton in Mobile, Al.; It was a pleasure to stay at this older Hampton Inn in Quincy Fl. Quite and comfortable. The staff was excellent, polite, and friendly. Ava McKenzie was a standout as well as Hema Patel, and the woman who ran the breakfast area. The manager Peter Patel should congratulate each of them. Typical Local hotel. Very nice staff and they offered free continental breakfast and they have fresh coffee all the time. They are dog friendly too. They have the office center for buisness you printer. copier computer. They have a small workout area maybe 2 to 3 people max. which should be fine. how many times are you waiting to use gym stuff. I would not recommend staying at this hotel under any means. I am a Hilton Honors Member and I was so disappointed in this hotel. First and foremost, it's dirty. They did not offer me water or anything as a diamond member. The room had a lot of dust and traffic noise. Other people staying at the hotel do not have any volume control, screaming outside out door at 11pm. And again at 1pm. Room closet to the elevator had dogs so anytime you or anyone else walk by you heard uncontrollable barking. Now, breakfast... this was not breakfast. 2 prepackaged hard boiled eggs. A frozen bagel with no way to heat it up and a yogurt. Very comparable to what you could get at a gas station. Hilton needs to do better. We have stayed at many Hilton properties during the pandemic and this one just used it for their bad service. read more

Quincy is pretty tiny so it's not the hotel's fault, but man this was a tough stay. There is hardly anything in the area to eat that's not fast food and it's not adjacent to the hotel in any way either. Actually nothing is. Aside from that the hotel room wasn't super great. It felt weirdly humid in there and a little dingy. I also think that the guests next to me were smoking so I could smell cigarettes throughout the night. Not great. It wasn't super awful, but I wouldn't call it a relaxing trip or anything. And it's a fine enough option for those needing a room in the area. read more

We found a hole with a camera in it, in the ceiling, above our bed. On the top floor. We contacted the front desk. And notified corporate. And nothing was done. They said the only way to get in the attic. Was to take the roof off. They refused to investigate, and address the issue. Room number 305. Will never go to a Hilton related motel again!!!° read more

We stayed here the night before we did a College Tour in Talahassee. Our flights were delayed so we checked in much later than planned. I am always a bit concerned checking in after midnight as reservations roll to the next day. But, this hotel had keys and everything ready for us upon arrival- Nice after a long travel day! The room and bathroom was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It can across as fairly new property. The breakfast is the only reason for the 4 stars. The choices were slimmer than typical at a Hampton Inn. Overall, good experience for the price. read more

Hampton Inns have always been reliable hotels no matter where we've been. Breakfast is a good value especially with a family of 5. This was an unexpected stay due to car trouble. The staff was extremely understanding and helpful. First they gave us late checkout, then they let us hang out in their pretty lobby until the car got towed and help could arrive. We camped out next to their Christmas tree for hours. They told us to make ourselves at home, turned on the tv, turned down the music and gave us wifi password. How could this be anything less than 5 stars? Eternally grateful for the kindness. read more

During quarantine/50% capacity, rooms were clean. Towels were very soft. However, I was quite put off when the front worker spoke to me like I was a middle schooler who does not listen. Being short and repeating himself. When I asked where another ice machine that worked was he answered appropriately "the second or third floor." But when I followed up and asked if he had one behind the counter, he responded with the "the second or third floor." I told him that I heard him the first time and that it was a yes or no question. Doors slammed on their own and heard them several times throughout the night. As for the employee, there could have been something lost in the moment or he could have been an off day, but I do not feel that was a friendly or proper interaction at a hospitality chain. read more

My wife and I stayed at the Quincy Hampton on our way from Texas to Port Charlotte, Florida. We checked in just after 4:30 p.m. and were given keys to a room. When we got to the room, we found it had not been cleaned. We were assigned a second room, but it was in the process of being cleaned. We waited. Upon entering the room, we discovered that the king sized bed had been made with queen sized sheets. The mattress pad couldn't have been any larger than full size. Most of the sides of the mattress and box spring were total uncovered. Upon informing the front desk, we were given king sized bedding and left to the change the sheets ourselves. Using the stairs in order to social distance, my wife discovered the ceiling leaking and that some previous leaking had simply been painted over and others were covered with mold with no roof repair. The caulk at the bottom of the shower was discolored with mold and/or crud even though this location was renovated not long ago. The light blocking shade over our room window would only lower half way. It took less than 30 seconds for me to fix it. As far as COVID, no masks in sight except for one housekeeping member who was protecting his chin and the women running the breakfast service which she served behind a roped off area. I have been a Hilton guys for many years and spent numerous years while working as a Diamond member. I am now finding that more and more Hamptons fail to meet the Hilton standard and Hilton does nothing to enforce those standards. The Quincy Hampton is added to my growing list of Hilton properties that are sorely lacking and unworthy of my unrequited loyalty. I guess the new Hilton standards is "leave your job for the guests to do." read more

First let me go on record as a loyal HHonors Diamond member for almost 20 years. When I lived in Florida as a sales rep and covered from Florida to Texas, this property was my most frequented property. Probably at least 20 times a year. I recently went on vacation. Not comfortable flying, I drove from San Antonio, TX. to Saint Petersburg, FL. I stayed at this property going to FL and going home to TX. The last stay was a nightmare, it required 30k points. Which is high. There is NOTHING near this hotel but a gas station. I usually go to Walmart to get something for dinner. When I got in to my room, my TV was not working. The remote control had the new protective cover on it. I took the cover off and discovered the remote had no batteries. I went to the front desk and they had no spares. I think the lady on duty at the front desk took the batteries out of the lobby TV remote. About an hour later, no water. I called the front desk and the water was out in the entire hotel. About an hour later, water came on but was orange. It was the same thing in the morning. I am having to fight with HHonors to get my points back for this stay. Hampton Inn has a 100% satisfaction guarantee and I was certainly less than satisfied. I received an e-mail from HHonors stating this property contacted me. They NEVER contacted me. Bed bugs - I am itching all over my back and legs and so is my wife. I have easily 20+ bites. The hotel is a dump. Here are just a few of the notes & if you want picture I have a few. I have been with Hilton since the 90's and this is the worst. Quincy was horrible experience from beginning to end. Thank God we were only 1 night. After driving 10 hours from Memphis to Quincy. The individual at the Front Desk was not welcoming or friendly. Talkin to him was like pulling teeth to get info. The room condition and cleanliness was beyond unacceptable. The bathroom bathtub was not clean - black and pink mold on around seals and corners. No floor towel provided. The mirror had prints and water splashes visible. The carpet by the sofa was stained or dirty as well as the desk chair. I dropped a coin which went under the TV stand. YUK! I left it because it was full of dust and had Cheetos. There was a large hair ball as well. The AC thermostat was busted - room froze before it turned off and then it heated up before turning on. It only worked when set to 70. After checking in, went up to room and tried to wash my hands - found bathroom faucet had no water. I called the front desk and same person said we have no water. I asked why not mention it when I was checking in. He said "I found out after two other customers called." He was not apologetic or provide any sort of advice. He left it up to the customer to figure out. I called the Holiday Inn next door to ask if they had water & was told they did not and explained the utility company said possibly a couple of hours to fix and apologized; i am not even a guest. The water returned about an 1.5 hours later but there was no pressure and cold. Same thing in the morning so we did not shower. read more

Above all, I feel disappointment. **The staff is lovely**Room not so much. I choose Hilton properties because they rarely disappoint and when they do they are pretty good at remedying the situation. Unfortunately the disappointment this time is here to stay. I use the Hilton app to book a Hilton almost every night. My app has a no smoking rooms option selected, (I WOULD NEVER KNOWINGLY PAY FOR A ROOM WITHOUT SMOKE-DETECTORS), that seems to have failed. There are very limited options in the area and the management here act like they know it. So I have to stay in a smoking room, work clothes and all. Smells like cigarettes and I know it's as dirty as the last smoker left it. I'm writing this outside. The room is disgusting. As a service trainer for private corporations, I am certain the fault lies the the Management/Owner level. Again, the staff is as sweet as one could expect but One bad smoking apple is all it takes to ruin the bunch. Fortunately they have a 100%money back guarantee which they have honored by the end of my stay. read more

The Hampton Inn in Quincy, FL is a terrible representation of the Hilton brand! It's very unfortunate I feel compelled to share this - I travel a TON for work and am quite aware of the norms of customer service in hospitality business. This experience was shocking to say the least and people need to be informed. I reserved a nonsmoking room, just to arrive and find out, I was put into a smoking room. Not to mention the 4 hour drive to get there on a business trip - I was very tired and just wanted to relax in my room. To top it off, they were sold out and could not accommodate me, so I had to backtrack to the closest city and scramble to find a new place to stay. Not once was there an apology or assistance of any kind to help with the situation. I was finally able to speak to the manager today who accused me for selecting this room myself - making it my fault and problem and that there was nothing he could do and was still going to charge me JUST a cancellation fee, as a favor to me. The manager here is Peter Patel. I am outraged as a diamond member and a "valued" customer, as PP referred to me, but, I guess not valued enough per his handling of the situation. All of this for just $50. I am not blaming this property for the change in my reservation, but I am blaming them for how it was handled. PP said I selected this room during my e-check in via HHonors app, but I would NEVER do that, as a cancer survivor and allergy to smoke. Regardless of how it happened, they should have made it right. I should not be charged for something I did not reserve (and have written proof in an email) nor not be compensated in some way for my troubles. Please beware!!! read more

My stay got off to a great start... walked in to a nice lobby that looked clean and modern. The two staff members at the front desk who checked me in were friendly, laughing a lot and gave me a warm welcome. When I made it to the room, I wasn't as impressed. It had an older vibe to it, and it seemed like they tried to cram too much furniture into a limited space. Still, the bed was comfortable and I got a good night's sleep. When I woke up, I was quite surprised to see a 3 inch long cockroach upside down kicking away it's last moments on the bathroom floor. All I wanted to know was where had it been all night while I slept and was it alone. I had to unpack my bag and look in every crevice to make sure I wouldn't be taking any of his friends home. I was tempted to give them 1 star just for that... where there is one, there are more. read more

When we travel we prefer to stay at Hampton Inns. This particular one had some negative reviews on TA but the manager had responded and the location was good. We found the service to be excellent. The motel was clean. The front desk called us after we checked in to see if we needed anything. The room had one of the best refrigerators I have come across in a motel room. The breakfast was delicious. Only complaint which has nothing to do with this particular Hampton is that the shower ( we were in a king room ) has only a little tiny place to hold soap, shampoo, razor etc. also nowhere to put leg to shave. The front desk suggested The Whip for dinner. It was great! We will stay here again! read more

Stayed here 04/27/2015 for a rest from driving. I don't typically review hotels too often but this is an exception. The young lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and quiet and the breakfast was better than most typically offered. The gym is very nice as is the pool. The king size bed actually is a king size as opposed to the experiences I have had at a marriott. They have larger sized mini refrigerators (plenty of room) and a microwave oven as well. Overall I would give this hotel 5 Stars because of the room quality and the staffs personalities. read more

We were traveling to Orlando and could not find a hotel anywhere along I-10 in the Pensacola area so we just kept driving until I found this gem. We were very impressed. The staff is wonderful and the facilities are very clean. I loved the bed! The breakfast was excellent as was the dining area. I can recommend this hotel to anyone. read more

Attitude is everything in the hospitality industry. The hotel was clean enough but we started out on the wrong foot with a simple phone call. I had made reservations before we left home but forgot to print out my reservation so the hubster wanted to call to verify reservations and to request a high floor since he's a light sleeper. The person on the phone was rude and snide with her comments to his request for a higher floor. "Well you know there's a concert and a ballgame. I can't move you. You're on the 2nd floor." Really hateful and matter of fact. How would I know what's going on in the area? If I was from around there, I wouldn't need a hotel room now would I? So then all warm and snuggled in our second floor room...beep...silence...beep...silence. The smoke detector needs a battery. We call down" OK I'll be there in a minute." Get dressed. Wait. Phone rings, " did you call for batteries for the fire alarm?" Yes. " I'm trying to find batteries" wait some more. Get tired of waiting walk downstairs retrieve said batteries. She was only one there and was tied up in the little market. Luckily Hubs is tall and could reach the 10 foot ceiling by standing on the bench at the end of the bed. Finally off to LA LA land. It gets better. Breakfast area next morning. We are the only ones in there. The food looks skimpy at best. There were 3 little cinnamon rolls and a couple normal sized muffins. Hubs asks the girl working the breakfast area, who just walked in dragging and yawning for more muffins. " that's all we have" but then she comes out with more muffins I guess she pooped them out her rear. Then he decides he wants a waffle. Guess what? No syrup. Has to knock on the door to get syrup from probably sleeping beauty. He asks for syrup. She never says a word drags herself over to the syrup bottle takes it in back and fills it up. Never says, " here you go sir, sorry about that...nothing. Hubs says Thank you and here's her response...um hmmm. Um hmmm, really? And it wasn't even a nice um hmm. It was a smart a $$ um hmm. Then there's no butter. He said he was afraid to knock again and ask for butter. My advice drive on into Tallahassee. This one in my opinion does not live up to Hilton hotel standards. Front desk check out was the only good part. He was very friendly and personable. It must be hard to get good help in this area. While we were eating breakfast a young man strolled in he said something to the desk clerk. The desk clerk said, " man you are an hour late." He turned and went back to his car. Probably one of our top 5 worst hotel experiences ever. Attitude problems more than anything. read more

We arrived fairly late in the evening on 9 Nov. and requested adjoining rooms as our 30 yr. old son has significant disabilities. The night supervisor, Contreiba (I may have misspelled) S., did everything to accommodate us and was very professional, competent, and helpful. The rooms were clean and well stocked. the pool area and fitness areas were also clean and well-kept. For all of this, the price was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends. read more

Growing up in a city/suburban area, the only thing I hear is the neighborhood dogs. I have to say... The customer service is superb. Wayyyyy better than chickfila's standard of customer service. Decent hotel, great desk and breakfast staff. Not so sure about the cleaning staff. When we arrived, our room had some things that looked to have been left by a previous guest, and so we asked to change rooms. The desk attendant was quick to make the change for us, and the 2nd room was just fine and quiet. The beds weren't as comfortable as other Hampton beds, but they were still comfortable. We spotted a few insects (maybe 5, total) in and around the room. The hotel is practically alone at an exit with only a gas station and another hotel, but even so, it was pretty full that night. The price was reasonable, but I've paid the same at other Hamptons for better accommodations. read more

Terrible customer service. I had a problem with my reservation and attempted to contact the hotel Manager. He is not available and doesn't return calls. I even contacted the Hilton (Hampton) corporate customer service desk and they were not able to contact the Manager. I normally stay at Hampton's but after the lack of customer service when I had a problem I will be moving on to a chain that cares about their customers. Very disappointing. read more

If i had the choice to sleep in my car or this hotel I would pick my car!!! After a long drive all I wanted was a good night sleep and a shower. I checked in very late to a typical very overpriced Hampton Inn. After my shower I noticed that the towels were folded and put away damp, not damp from being stored in the shower area but damp as in not fully dried!!!! I was appalled! When I told the front desk about the towels and that I was not satisfied she informed me that it was their policy to avoid thinning of the towels! and brushed my concerns away. How disgusting a perfect place for bacteria to grow.. If they do not clean the towels properly what else are they cutting corners on sanitary wise? cleaning the bed linens? proper food handling?? The manager of the hotel promised a refund only after I insisted ( he thought and apology was good enough). He told me that the check would be cut and mailed on May 12th I have yet to see a refund. He is avoiding my calls I have had to make 3 calls to Hilton Cooperate and still no results!!! I will stay away from the entire Hilton Brand!!! read more
