Pillows were flat and bed was like a stone slab - very uncomfortable. Painters and housekeepers need to pay more attention to detail. I am definitely not a fan of the no cancellation policy. Location Location Location…read more I was here on business and didn't have a car. This is a super walkable area. Pretty much everything you need is within easy walking distance. The biggest problem you'll have is deciding which place to choose. About every chain restaurant you can think of is nearby and a few independent restaurants too. There's a really nice Regal Cinema about a ten-minute walk from the hotel. Across the street, there's a nice park if you want to take a walk. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. My room didn't come with a microwave. That's a bummer, also, no safe, another bummer. The A/C unit made a slight knocking noise which I didn't notice until I was trying to fall asleep. The coffee setup in the room is clunky. It's a really small bag of coffee that makes very weak coffee and you have to tear open two bags to put it all together. Best to just go downstairs and get the coffee in the lobby. They can surely find a better way, or system to make in-room coffee. The walls are pretty thin for a hotel of this type. The room next door had a crying baby that cried on and off throughout the night. Other than that, I have no complaints. I didn't do the breakfast bar, but it's open from 6am to 10am. They also have coffee and hot water available in the lobby all the time. Nice! There's a nicely appointed gym on the first level, also a business center and a large lobby area with TV screens. This is a pretty nice place! There's no restaurant, but there are plenty of snacks and drinks you can buy, including beer, in the lobby. The staff is super nice! Big shout out to Kevin at the front desk. He is a great guy. You'll enjoy meeting him. You'll feel like you've made a new friend when you meet him. I would certainly stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

Rooms have been scaled down to basically a glorified motel room. No microwave, no bar area sink,…read morethe beds are so uncomfortable I had to sleep on the couch which was far more comfortable. They scaled down their cleaning staff to about every 3 days because apparently the higher ups a Hyatt need. New yacht and to hell with the customers. The breakfast wouldn't be adequate for a feeding frying hogs and to top it off on this morning as I made an earlier flight to get the hell out of this nightmare, the power went out so I had to drag my luggage down the stairs in a place that should absolutely have a back up generator. This is a travesty and a joke and please never ever stay at this garbage of a motel as I will never even breathe its name into the ether as long as I live.

I have literally stayed hundreds of hotels around the world and can not overstate how perfect this property was for us and how amazingly friendly the staff is. Breakfast was good and had a variety of options. There were 2 computers and a printer in the lobby. Daily fresh popcorn and lemonade. A nice pool, 2 grills and a nice sitting area. We grilled one night and used the utensils the hotel had. We also used the laundry room several times and the small gym. The gym was nice. This hotel is pet friendly and there was a nice area out back for pets. The rooms were great too. Always clean and plenty of space with a full sized fridge. Most importantly the staff. The staff is SOOO FRIENDLY. They gave great recommendations for places to eat out even.

Everything was fresh and clean, and my room didn't have an odor lol And everything was in working order. Breakfast consists mostly of bagels and carbohydrates. Staff was friendly and I would definitely stay again!

This option nearby was well-located for our needs, and the price point was much lower than the convention center, but it was definitely less luxurious, as expected. The rooms were quite large and spacious. WiFi was good. There's a small pool in the back, which made my nephew very happy though it wasn't as nice as the water park at the Gaylord Opryland. The water pressure in the shower was AMAZING. And the daily free breakfast was utilized, though the variety didn't change much over our four day stay. The staff was SO friendly, but it always seemed likey they were short-staffed. Check-in was a slow process and check-out was a bit confusing as two different people tried to help us print out one invoice. And housekeeping comes every two days...they did come to empty my wastebaskets and clean the bathroom but didn't make the bed. It was unusual. They offered a shuttle to the Gaylord Opryland for free that was supposed to leave every hour on the hour from 8 am to 4pm, so that was really helpful when it was running, but with the hotel being short-staffed sometimes the shuttle didn't go as planned, so we Ubered when needed. They would even come pick us up if we called them...it's less than a 5 minute ride or a 20 minute walk. It was just too hot and humid for us to do the walk...and you do go through a major intersection near the highway exit/entrance. There's a McDonalds, Bob Evans, Cracker Barrel and a BBQ restaurant nearby. And though we didn't get there, the Catio cat cafe is close as is Cooter's Museum dedicated to all things Dukes of Hazzard.

DO NOT BOOK HERE: A Complete Breakdown in Service, Safety, and Basic Management…read more If you are planning a trip to Nashville, especially for a convention at the Gaylord, do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else. My stay at the Hyatt Place Hotel Opryland/Nashville from July 6th to July 11th was such an unmitigated disaster that I checked out a day early. This hotel charges premium rates while delivering a sub-hostel experience, completely failing to provide the basic amenities they advertise. The Safety Hazard: Broken Room Phones Your room phone is your direct line to help in an emergency. In my room, the phone was completely non-functional. When I tried calling the front desk, they couldn't hear a word. Their "solution"? A front desk attendant had to physically walk up to my room just to ask why I was calling. If I had experienced a medical or safety emergency, this system failure could have been catastrophic. It is a massive liability. The Complimentary Shuttle (And a Hilarious Excuse) I specifically booked this hotel because they advertised a complimentary shuttle to the Gaylord Convention Center. Upon arrival, I was told the shuttle was non-operational. When I asked why, staff informed me that the shuttle driver had gone into labor. While I wish the driver a healthy delivery, pregnancy lasts nine months. The fact that management had nearly a year to plan coverage for a key advertised amenity and instead just let the service collapse is mind-blowing. The Cost to Me: I had to pay out-of-pocket for round-trip Uber rides to and from the convention center for four straight days. The Hotel's Response: Absolute silence. The hotel made zero effort to reimburse or compensate me for these unexpected transit costs. No Breakfast Juice, No Warning, and Filthy Facilities Deceptive Construction: The hotel completely failed to advise guests beforehand that they were undergoing construction. Filthy Elevators: The elevators were constantly disgusting and covered in grime. The "Complimentary" Breakfast Joke: I selected this hotel partially for the complimentary breakfast. As someone who does not drink coffee, I rely on juice for that morning spark. For three out of the five days of my stay, they served absolutely no juice. If you can't manage to keep juice in stock, don't market a "full breakfast included" rate. Absentee Management: The absolute worst part of this experience was the total lack of accountability. The General Manager was completely missing in action. She was not onsite or did not present herself for the entire duration of my stay (July 6th - July 11th). Note, I as not the only guest dissatidfied with the lack of service. I have reached out via both phone and email to address these severe gaps in service. She has not cared enough to return a single call or reply to a single email. Final Verdict I am a World of Hyatt member and have stayed at Hyatts around the world at various levels. This property is plagued by filthy facilities, broken safety equipment, nonexistent communication, and a management team that hides from its guests. Save your money, protect your safety, and stay elsewhere.

I could not have been more pleased with both or our stays. The Hotel This hotel felt BRAND NEW. I have not been to a hotel that was so recently opened (2025). They have done an amazing job keeping this building looking brand new. One of the cleanest hotels I have ever been to. The Rooms The rooms were also extremely clean. They won't blow you away with luxury but the beds were very comfortable, the room was spacious, and everything looks very nice. The Pool The pool was probably the only thing we didn't love about this location. It was VERY small and the seating is so tight/limited. I cannot imagine a scenario with kids playing in the pool where you aren't getting splashed. My wife and I got soaked the first night sitting in chairs out of the pool by unruly kids. When the pool was empty or limited to smaller groups, it was fine. But definitely lacking. Breakfast They legitimately offered one of the best hotel breakfasts I have personally ever enjoyed. It was large, tons of options, always being constantly filled so the food being served isn't stale. Staff was very attentive and accommodating. and they have a huge beautiful patio to sit outside(make sure you have your keycard on you). I will most likely be choosing this location again if we are in the area for whatever reason. I really enjoyed our stay here.
