My husband and I stayed at this hotel on March 30. 2026. The hotel was very dirty. On exiting the elevator onto the fourth floor where our room was located you could just smell dirty feet smell. The room was updated, but was very dirty. Any chrome fixtures, any horizontal metal surface was pitted and dirty. The bed was rather comfortable, so that's the only reason I would give it one star. The bathroom floor was filthy and the toilet had a tissue and hair still in it not flushed. The "white"shower curtain was yellow and dark at the bottom. There was a cockroach above the bathroom door when I got in there and he was big so I did not sleep well that night. Should have left. I have been staying at Hampton Inn's and this is very unlike a Hampton Inn. read more

I've been here 3 times. Here are the common themes. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are updated and the breakfast buffet has always needed restocking. Bacon in 30 minutes didn't make sense for a Sysco pre-cooked product. Overall a fine option for an overnight stay read more

The Hampton Inn hotel at the Locus Grove, GA locations is NOT KEEPING UP TO THE Hampton Inn standards, and apparently from reviews this has been going on for a good while. Our rooms are not getting service or only getting towels but dirty ones are left on the floor. Trash is removed, if you ask or left outside in the hall. On the outside, trash is left for the 4 days that we stayed. Breakfast is either way over cooked or under cooked. The exterior areas still has the same trash lying in the exterior sitting area fir days now. We have been a Hilton honors member for some time and always try to book at a Hampton Inn. We stay here several times a year to see our children and grandchildren, but after this stay, we will be staying somewhere else. Extremely disappointed with this location. read more

March 23-24 I stayed at the Hampton Inn Locust Grove. My shower had mildew,mold and hair. I couldn't get comped because of 3rd party. Then I left so it could be cleaned and come to have no turn down service at all. Corporate only offered me 10,000 points but how how two free days because of what I went through. read more

Absolutely would not recommend booking this hotel! My family and I came here for Labor Day and what started out as a fun filled Labor Day turned into an absolute nightmare We booked this place and was assigned room 210 for 1 day Sept 4th checking in at 3pm and checking out Sept 5th at 11am. After being here only a few hours, Locust Grove Police showed up because another guest was assigned the same room and entered the room while we were sleeping with a keycard and said this was their room- after we was assigned this room and given keycards at 3:15pm and has utilized the room since checking in. Locust Grove Police Department said that the occupants of my room- Room 210- had to LEAVE the property because we were trespassing and not authorized to be on the property. Said that the room belonged to someone else! And the police proceeded to escort the occupants of my room OFF the property Despite me having a booking confirmation and proof of purchase, my AMEX Hilton Honors receipt. This experience was Absolutely horrendous! Very vile and degrading! Humiliating and disheartening! Especially when you've paid your hard earned money to patronize their establishment As you can see, I have the booking confirmation and payment receipt from American Express - I'm a Hilton Hilton Honors member and yet my family and I was treated very poorly! If this had been a Caucasian individual in Locust Grove, in this uppity area, which I also RESIDE in, this would've been remedied immediately. I wasn't offered another room! I wasn't offered a refund. I wasn't extended an apology! Nothing! So I asked for a REFUND. However, we were told to LEAVE THE PROPERTY and advised that someone would GET BACK WITH US TOMORROW. How disgusting! What do you mean tomorrow?? When we were put out of the room and told to leave the property today??? Mind you all of this transpired during hours that I paid for and I should've still been in the room that I paid for sleeping. Smh. This is not just. This is not right. This is egregious and should've never happened! Upper management failed us! General manager failed us! Hilton failed us! The staff had absolutely no remorse whatsoever! Given the nature of the matter, you would think someone from upper management would handle this with a sense of urgency. However, 12 hours later and we still have not heard from anyone in regards to this matter. Please refrain from booking here unless you want to be belittled and discarded. It could happen to you. And to make matters worse- No one took accountability for this grave mistake that transpired. No one even said "we apologize" or "we're sorry". read more

Driving back up to the home state of mind Michigan. Wanted to stay at a Hampton Inn along the way. First one we went to unfortunately was fully booked. Knowing there's plenty along the freeway further north we continued onto here. Ended up being in a better location if you're the big shopping type. The Tanger outlets are across the street and taco bell next door w the colonel along side of it. Even tho I wasn't dabbling in those I found it convenient everything was walking distance even the liquor store and a waffle house. Greeted with a warmly welcoming we got a nice room on the second floor. Everything has a great new modern decor in the bedroom. Solid flat screen TV, dark curtains for a late sleep in if you're that type. The beds were super comfy and sunk right in feeling at home. I slacked on photos of room. Breakfast is served with your room which was great. Southern style continental breakfast, biscuits & gravy is rarely on the menu so I had to get down on a few plates. Cereals, oatmeal, waffle maker, fruit all available as well. Staff was kind, place was well kept. Only mess was someones random sock that hung out in the elevator for awhile but was soon gone. Friendly front desk, but staff was running late on cleaning rooms. Clean rooms, but there are trains right outside your window--ALL.NIGHT.LONG. I woke at 2:30a and never fell back to sleep My kids slept well. Stopped here while traveling on a long road trip. Went to nearby Papa John's where the staff was not trained well but not many food options around. Kids enjoyed the pool, even with a few other annoying guests were in it too. Kids loved the hot breakfast included in the morning. read more

Would not recommend. I've stayed here quite a few times since helping implement a new warehouse half a mile away. Tried to work with the team several times, and several time have I asked for things to be fixed. Each time I'm told not an issue, it will be handled. Each time, nothing is done. Specially something as important as a door lock. This time takes the cake. I've now been locked out of the room for over 1.5 hours, and absolutely not a single maintenance worker is yet on the way to get the door open, nor has a manager even been contacted. This is extremely ridiculous after working 14-16 hr shifts all the time, and CONSTANTLY having issues with a hotel. I've now cancelled my remaining weeks for June, July and August as well and will no longer be staying at this hotel. Tried to talk to staff, and you just get ignored and blown off. read more

Had to change rooms because the first one smelled like an ashtray. The second one smelled like chicken and perfume. Missing pieces in the bathroom, bent shower rod, no trash can, and hairs on the sink. For years we've gone to Hampton Inn when traveling... we're going to try another brand after this- it seems like They're just putting less care into cleanliness. When it gets to the point of us hoping we stop at a new Hampton because it may be cleaner and less broken or missing things in the room, it's time to change hotel companies. This hotel claims to be pet friendly and charges $75/night for our dog. The reality is that they are terrified of dogs and make it a horrible experience. Even better, nobody from local management or Hilton returned my two phone calls to discuss. You can do way better than this hotel. read more

Great customer service. It was a last minute arrangement and they were able to get us in get our rooms fast . Definitely checking them out first if we need any hotel if we back on this side of town. Breakfast was delicious too the lady was so nice and sweet that was in charge of breakfast. We are very happy with our stay. I would be given ZERO STARS I booked a reservation at this hotel from Thursday to Friday. me and my family and children where traveling overnight the hotel called us then hung up I immediately got an email from Hampton inn stating my reservation that I ALREADY PAID for was cancelled. I called the property then they said that there are no more rooms and our current room was a safety hazard. I asked to be refunded, the girl stated that I would be fully refunded then today I called booking.com whom I booked this reservation though & the hotel told them I was a no show. which is complete bull shit. I didn't show up because they cancelled so I had to look for a different hotel. the girl said they where "fully booked" I was driving overnight to this hotel because it's as far as we could make it I pre paid and everything. it's very disappointing how this can happen and the girl act like it's not a big deal. read more

As a frequent business traveler, I stay at Hampton Inn's on a very routine basis. I found this property to be below the typical Hampton Inn standard. When I checked in to my room, I noticed that the toilet had not be flushed. There was no shampoo, one coat hanger, no laundry bag and a pile of hair on the floor. This place was great. It appears to be a new location. We stayed for one evening as we were passing through. It looks great. New and modern. It's directly behind the Tanger outlets. Great location. Everything was spotless in the front desk area. The room was awesome. We stayed on the top floor. The elevators are a little slow so you may want to choose a lower floor if you are impatient. Bathroom was fantastic. Had a barn door to close it off. Shower water was very hot which I like. There was a refrigerator, free wi-fi and plenty of room in the King bed configuration. You have to travel three exits up to get to most of the good food spots. We liked this place a lot. The free wifi is slow though. The breakfast wasn't that great but we came with about 40 minutes left before close so maybe that had something to do with it. read more

No locks on the bathroom doors at all is not ok, but to make it worse they are sliding doors and won't even close all the way. No ice bucket in the room either. read more

The hotel is beautiful. The housekeeper had made our towels look like roses and even the toilet tissue had a little heart on it. The room was colorful and clean. Not to mention the location is awesome as it is right next to the Outlets. Can't wait to go back! read more

My stay at Hampton Inn Locust Grove went wrong from the check in I was quoted one price when I made reservations but when I checked in front desk informed us that due to the holiday that is was an extra fee so my price went from 556 to 654 at check in. Got into my room the beds are very comfortable but the bathroom became a problem we had to call front desk because the toilet was backing up the next evening after coming in from a fun filled day there was a dead bug found on the floor of one of the rooms we were renting talked to the manager and she knocked off a few dollars and housekeeping would take care of it we went back out for the evening came back housekeeping. Had not gotten the bug off the floor so we contact front desk she came and removed the dead bug and contacted the manager and told her what happen and she told us she would speak to us at checkout. My experience was not a good one and sadly I would not do another stay here at the Hampton Inn when I revisit my family. read more

BEWARE! NOT ADA compliant!!! I stayed at this location June 18-19, 2020. I fell in the shower due to a slick floor with no texture. Thinking I had broken my arm,I went to the front desk with blood dripping and asked for a hospital. The girl working looked annoyed when I asked for a hospital. She directed me to a hospital in Atlanta, an hour away. I do NOT recommend this location! Keep driving! There are plenty of locations or other chains that are safe! read more
