I would have preferred to stay in the city, but I was forced to stay in Conyers to be close to my granddaughter that I had not seen in over 4 years. I must say that this hotel did not disappoint. From the front desk to the kitchen staff, to the maintenance crew, everyone was friendly, professional and took pride in their work. Excellent customer service all around. Everyone greeted with you with a 'hello' and a smile. There was plenty of parking, the room and all areas of the hotel were cleaned and maintained throughout the day. A special shout out to Marshay and (don't remember her name) the Housekeeping Supervisor; excellent customer service and professionalism. Hampton Inn is a solid choice if you need a hotel in the Conyers, Georgia area. Hilton has a standard and you know pretty much what you will be getting when you stay out of Hilton owned property. I'll tell you the positives upfront. It was very clean, which I appreciate with an ongoing pandemic. The front staff staff was friendly. The staff in charge of the breakfast was also helpful and friendly. Parking was easy and it's located near a shopping center with a lot of good stores. Here are the things I did not like. Check-out time is 12:00 PM. The cleaning person knocked on our door at 9:00 AM and then again at 10:00 AM. That was annoying since we were trying to relax before we hit the road. The water pressure in the shower was non-existent. The walls are thin; we heard some very loud people around like 2:00 AM. My boys said the pillows were uncomfortable. Overall, the stay wasn't horrible, but I'm not sure if I'd come back. read more

I used the digital check-in and that entire process was smooth. Upon entry into the room, it wasn't as pleasant as other Hilton hotels but it was only for one night, just passing thru so it was alright. Overall the hotel was clean, staff were friendly. The reason for 3 stars is because they had a plumbing issue. The water in the bathtub backed up very quickly when u turned on the shower and pooled. Very disgusting! Location is right off the highway which makes it convenient and it's right next to small restaurants, an IHOP, Home Depot and Walmart. read more

Don't recommend. You'd think with the Hilton name behind it, it would be a great hotel. The remodel was no better than putting lipstick on a pig, parking was nonexistent on Saturday night and the pool was so crowded you could literally walk across it without touching water. The linens were musty, we had to empty our own trash after procuring a large trash bag from the maids' cart that had been sitting in the same spot for the previous 36 hours. The whole place smelled dingy and old. The free breakfast was the saddest offering I've ever seen in any hotel that has free continental breakfast. What honestly upset me was when I made the reservation on the Hilton site in early June 2022, there was absolutely no mention that this was a flipped Hampton Inn and I didn't find out until I'd circled the hotel several times in disbelief, only to find that this was where my reservation actually was. Let's just say I've learned my lesson and Hilton hotels are now officially off of my personal AND business stay lists. Yes, there are other cheaply remodeled substandard hotels out there owned by other nice hotel brands, but now that I know what's up you can bet I won't end up in any of them. I'll research each and every address before committing to a reservation. read more

The rooms were clean. The lobby area was clean and inviting. The staff on duty at check-in we're friendly and kind. My rooms were fully stocked with towels and the bathrooms were clean and fully stocked with complimentary hygiene products too. The beds were comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean. The temperature in the room was good upon entry. This location still has their pool open and the kids enjoyed swimming. The pool area was well-kept and clean too. I'm big on cleanliness at hotels as you can see. I used the business center which was accessible using my room key and got some work done during the day. Breakfast was served from 6-10 a.m. and it was awesome! Plenty of food and it was kept CLEAN!!! No food on the counters or messes left unattended. The variety of food was good too. My boys were full after only one trip and one waffle each. This location receives four stars because I was forced to swipe my card multiple times to pay for multiple rooms in spite of the fact that when I made the reservation I only received one confirmation number for multiple rooms. It was inconvenient and antiquated. There HAS to be a way for a guest to only pay once for their stay that includes more than one room. The parking lot had ample space for guests and the hotel is conveniently located close to shopping and several restaurants. I would stay again if they could fix the system so I only had to pay once instead of multiple times for booking more than one room. read more

I recently purchased a home in Conyers and had to stay in a few hotels here prior to purchasing & Closing on my house. HAMPTON inn is By far the best Hotel in Rockdale County. The Front Desk Staff is beyond Helpful & Polite. Tim, Meagan & Kayla handled everything with such a high level of Professionalism you can really tell, they care about their Guests. The Cleaning Staff is excellent, Rosario is extremely accommodating and makes sure my room stayed clean on a daily basis. The rooms and elevators are always fresh and odorless. The pool was open, and all the kids including my own really enjoyed it. The Laundry Room is immaculate and efficient, I did 4 loads with no problem and it was always available for service. Despite the Pandemic, Hampton Inn is one of the few Hotels still serving Breakfast, tho limited, their Selection was adequate. They served a different HOT breakfast Sandwich every morning, along with a selection of Juices, Cereals, Fresh Fruits and Yogurts. Annette served our breakfast every morning with an infectious Smile behind her mask, she is soo cheerful and welcoming as she served our food, the breakfast staff as a whole did a wonderful job of replenishing and cleaning during their down time. Everyone in this hotel kept busy and it shows because the quality and upkeep was reflected by its hard working staff. The hotel fits its purpose. It is clean and fairly quiet. It never seemed to really settle down; maybe it was because of the location. It is near a very location. There isn't anything nice near it to eat or do but agaiN, fits the purpose. Everything is very close. Small fridge and microwave in the room. The AC is blocked out at 65 degrees but it really never gets down to that. I had to buy two fans. read more

I was told to talk to the person working the next morning about switching rooms. When explaining my complaint the lady cut me off and did not let me finish my statement. Are you a Diabetic, or do you know someone who is? If so, then read this. Almost 2 weeks ago I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Conyers, GA for a business function (Hampton is a Hilton brand hotel...remember this). As I always do when at a hotel, I brought my insulin and put it in the in-room refrigerator. When I awoke the next morning and took my insulin out it was FROZEN SOLID (yes, it was in the right place in the refrigerator). If you're Diabetic you know that once insulin freezes it must be thrown away. I checked out that morning and showed my insulin-ice to the front desk clerk, asking him to have the General Manager call me. To date, almost 2 weeks, I have not heard from the hotel. A week ago, I used Hilton's corporate contact form and relayed the same information. I got 2 emails from them within a day, both of which, I assume, were automatically generated. Both assured me that the property would contact me, which never happened. At a minimum, I expected Hilton to pay for the $350 I had to spend to replace the destroyed insulin. What I didn't expect was no response at all. The morals of the story are two. First, never trust an in-room refrigerator to work properly. Bring your own cooler and ice. Second, never stay at a Hilton brand hotel. If something does go wrong, the property makes no effort whatsoever to correct, compensate, or even respond to their mistakes. As an aside, the desk clerk that morning told me that since they would usually comp my room if something like that happened. However, since my stay was being direct billed to my company nothing could be done. Nothing? Really? read more

To date, the staff at this location has been the most professional, friendliest, and most accommodating, than I've EVER experienced, while staying at any of the Hampton hotels. The GM, Adrienne , has been so pleasant and warm, when greeting and interacting with guests. His entire staff gets an A+ rating from me. It's a place to stay if you need to crash--not if you need a get away or to relax. The rooms are clean, but could seriously use more power outlets. I like that fridge and microwave are in every room. The staff is super friendly and helpful for sure. I got crowded out of breakfast. Literally there was only like an apple left by the time I got there, so if you want breakfast, be the first, not the last. read more

In the beginning of the process of reserving everything went well. We did however have two unwanted visitors. We saw 2 large cock roach crawling up the wall during our stay. We also were charged for a room even though the hotel made their money from our two reservations. If customer service existed here, if the hotel makes its money from your two reservations, you should be reimbursed from any errors regardless. read more

The family and I stayed there for a long weekend and it was a very nice hotel. All the people who worked there were super nice. Especially Shante! She was very friendly and helpful to me. The hotel it's self was very clean. The only thing I would suggest is to have to have more trash cans around the hotel. There was not one on my floor. This is a real gem of a hotel. It has great water pressure, a fitness center with new equipment, and a very friendly staff. I think this is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at, bravo to the managers for keeping the carpet so clean.
