My husband is a Hilton honors member. We usually stay at this hotel when we return home for a visit. We stayed the weekend of the Fourth of July, 2025. The hotel charged my debit card four times for the same room which totally drained my bank account. I tried to talk to the gentleman at the front desk and he proceeded to tell me that by signing up through the app that they can charge my card whenever they want. Needless to say, He was not helpful at all. This was before I even arrived to the hotel. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager was busy and I said I would be there in 20 minutes. The manager was supposed to talk with me and conveniently he left 10 minutes before I got there. It took me over five days to get my money back. I even complained to the Corporate Hilton, which also was 0% help. They promised that I would receive a call and they would do something to help make this better. Here we are almost a month later and nothing has been done. Also, While standing in line, I heard from two other customers that they had charged their debit card more than once as well. I have tried to get in touch with management to resolve this issue however no one wants to return my call. Please beware when staying here as the management is terrible and clearly they don't do anything to make things right. I will never stay here again. read more

The hotel is very nice, the night staff was very nice but at breakfast a lady part of the staff kept looking at us even though there were many other people in the room, it was very uncomfortable and made us feel so bad that we had to leave, she just pointed at us and laughed. I have been staying at Hilton Hotels for a long time and I have never had such an experience. I must point out that we are Hispanic and there were only white Americans in the place, that's why we think he was pointing at us like that. read more

Well run and clean. I travel for work and stay in many hotels. I know a good one when I see one

I stayed for 1 night ($143) and was overcharged an additional $413. When I called to see why I was charged for one additional night plus $250 'deposit', I was told I needed to leave a voicemail for Stephen, the GM. So, I left a detailed voicemail about my concerns and never heard back from anyone. I just got my credit card statement and alllll of the over charges are still on my card! I called to speak to Stephen and he was VERY RUDE. couldn't give me an honest reason why I was charged so then he says, OH, it is for smoking in the room" I said that didn't happen, I want a refund for these charges that are not approved. He was very rude and not professional at allllll. Therefore, things got escalated on the phone and then he hung up on me when I asked for proof. The property had some people begging for money and then I saw what looked like a house keeper, doing needle drugs in a vehicle parked near mine. There were disposed dirty needles in the parking lot as well. For the GM to accuse me of smoking in a room, is ridiculous. I've stayed in many hotels and NEVER had an issue. Every review on this location has issues with being over charged, bloody sheets, nasty pillows, moldy food, cash grabbing and blames the people staying there?! Do better, Stephen! They need to get a handle on the riff raff nearby, it was NOT just at this hotel. I've stayed here many times (20?) over the past 2 years and have generally found it conveniently located along my routed, comfortable and mostly clean. My issue(s) is/are as follows: 1) I recently booked a room at $110 per night but they changed the rate to $168 per night without addressing the reason for this until well after my departure. CHECK YOUR E-DELIVERED FOLIO! The manager (Mr Romano) refused to make any changes. I could have booked under a different rate but was not given the opportunity. So, I was ripped off for $40-$60 dollars. this might be $115 or $120 a night hotel but it's certainly not $180 a night hotel. 2) Don't believe the HHonors App. the rooms are almost never ready when promised at this location. They seem to have issues getting the rooms cleaned on time (even by 5 or 6 p.m.). 3) Some (but not all) of the hotel staff turn over alot and some of the ones who have stayed seem rude and unwilling to help at times. Others are very friendly. 4) You check in on the app, you get to the hotel, the room is not ready and you can't get access, you get another room that is ready and now they want a $25 deposit? What gives? What/s the point of the app if you have to check in at the hotel desk all the time anyway? 5) elevator floors and walls are almost always dirty and I've visibly observed mice in my room 6) digital key did not work on the elevators for the longest time so you had to check in at the front desk - again, what's the point of the app ? 7) Different rates from the App to the Website to what the hotel actually charges. Outside of an emergency, I won't be staying again. Very disappointing. read more

Great experience with this hotel from Checkin to checkout. I initially called to check availability and spoke with the same young man upon arrival. I told him I would book online since it was cheaper under my Honors membership and he was expecting me when I walked in. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was stocked well and and hot. best hospitality in town. secure, safe and close to everything including restraunts, Walmart and town. beds are beautifully made and comfortable. nice bathrooms that have plenty of shampoo, conditioner, lotions and soap. pool was amazing. nice gym area. everything was fresh and clean. the staff was friendly and very hospitable and that's important. breakfast was great. super selection with omelette, eggs, waffles and more. the breakfast attendant was kind and brought us a few extras going the extra mile to treat us. Got in to our room late at night, walked in and the bathroom had not been cleaned. The shower had dried soap all over the handles, there was a used bar of soap stuck to the soap dish, the shampoo bottles were open and empty. Stickers on the mirror say clean and sanitized. Obviously they weren't. I passed up cheaper properties in the area because I wanted the peace of mind that came with the Hilton name. Now I know that doesn't matter and I'll choose cheaper next time. We stopped here on our way to our destination and on our way back this summer as it is the half way point. First time, no real complaints. Second time, Air conditioning was not working in the room. Mgr was prompt in sending someone up to look at it. Not too happy that employee entered into our room with no mask. I get if hotel policy allows them to not wear masks now, but all guests may not feel comfortable. At least the air was an easy fix. Breakfast buffet was good both times. Employees were friendly. It's one star because zero stars doesn't exist. I arrived today to check in. For reasons I won't go in to I don't like wearing a mask. The front desk attendant insisted and offered me a disposable. I was less than happy but I didn't actually say anything as I tossed my sweater on to the counter (not towards said front desk attendant who's surrounded by plexiglass) and PUT ON THE MASK. This is important. I put on the mask. Should've been the end of it. Front desk guy continues on with the virtue signaling from behind plexiglass and 2 masks and I said,"I don't want to discuss it any further, can I just get checked in." He then threatened to call the police and when I asked for what he pointed to me and my apparently very scary sweater and said "so this doesn't happen again." I left with a **** you over my shoulder. The floor in our room was not cleaned and the fridge had some ice buildup that our dinner to go box froze to. But, the staff was very kind and other than the floors the room was clean and everything worked perfectly. The banana bread waffles at the breakfast were sooooo good! read more

I stayed here a couple weeks ago while I was traveling for work. A co-worker happened to book the rooms for us (which one of us usually does for the group). When we check in, we all pay for our own room using our personal credit card and personal honors number. Over the years we've ran into issues with the staff not switching honors numbers to the correct room. And that happened again at this location. Upon arrival, I told the lady at the front desk "checking in under "blank", I am not him but I will be paying with my own credit card and my own Hilton honors number." Everything seemed to be fine and I even asked "you did add my honors number correct?" She said yeah. Well, she didn't. Not only that but the next morning, I go back to the front desk to have them add my honor number. Same lady is there from before as well as another coworker. I explained "when I checked in, my honors number wasn't added to my room". While the more experienced worked was on the computer trying to fix it, the woman that checked me in goes "can you show me how to change the honors numbers? I don't know how to do that." Wait.... What....? I literally asked her the day before if she changed it to my honors number and she said YES. Now the next day she's saying she doesn't know how to do that. So she blatantly lied to my face because she didn't know how to do it. And since she lied to me, I was unable to switch my room to my honors number. Which means I had to call Hilton Honors directly and try and haggle with them (and if you know what I'm talking about, it's an extremely aggravating task). Very disappointing. read more

The hotel was clean and the ac worked great. The breakfast was ok, but not great. The sausage tasted like wood. Get pork sausage Hampton Inn! The staff was a little pushy when a group of us were playing cards in the lobby and they suggested we rent the conference room for $250!!! We did not. We were pretty quiet and the guy acted like we were raising hell. We turned our music off and stayed in the lobby. read more

The Hampton Inn in Circleville is newer which is good. The ownership and management team is awful. Although check in was at 4:00, the room that I had selected thru the Hilton app was not ready. After waiting 15 minutes, another room became available. Upon checking in I was given a parking pass to place in my car to prevent it from being towed. This is unbelievable - the hotel is in a dirt field with nothing around it. Why is a parking pass needed? The manager told me that it was because the parking lot was being resurfaced which was a lie - the parking lot is new and in great shape. I was told by co-workers that previous hotel guests had their cars towed from this hotel. Again, this is in the middle of nowhere - why would any cars be towed? At check in, I was told that a $25 deposit was required for "incidentals". This is a Hampton Inn not a 5 star resort. What possible incidentals could there be here? I'm not sure what the incompentent ownership or managers are trying to pull here - but this place is definately up to something. I would not recommend staying here, which is unfortunate as the hotel is new. read more
