And just what we needed. when we arrived and settled in we were in awe! such beautiful surroundings with all the fall colors in the trees just popping out at you while enjoying a cup of coffee/beer on the deck. Our 2 dogs (zoey & charlie brown) just loved it!!! " Remember, Its your responsibility to keep an eye on your pets!." the title of my review says it all. we loved it and will definitely be coming back but for a much longer stay. when we were packing up to leave we noticed that the car had a flat tire. John was such a great help and a very nice and understanding guy while we made phone calls to get the tire fixed/repair shop. We used to love going here. We would go twice a year for quite a few years and always had a great experience. We had reservations for October of this year which we made over a year ago. Paid our down payment however when the new management took over they seemed to have lost our down payment. I am so sad because we loved staying here. Even after we showed the email stating our balance they could not find our down payment. Unfortunately we will not be going back. read more

We stayed at the Pinewood cabin. We just needed a get away for a couple of days and did not go visit the sites or trails nearby, but there are a lot of places to see that we'll check out in a future stay. We stayed in, and there was plenty to do. Our favorite thing was the hot tub. It was perfect and relaxing. The cabin was clean, spacious, comfortable, and adorable. The view is gorgeous. They have outdoor games like horseshoes and croquet in the garage, and they have a chest full of board games inside. They have books, movies for their blue ray, and WiFi. Internet was pretty slow for us, but we weren't there for the internet. My favorite thing about this place is that they are pet friendly. My dog had a blast as well. Check-in and checkout were so easy and hassle free. I've never had such a perfect experience with checking in and out before. They supplied linens, dishes, and so much more. I can't believe the price is so low! This place is nearly perfect, we were so relaxed, and we'll be returning for sure! read more
