Cleaning Hampton's room Bermuda Run NC

Poor communication leads to even poorer service. The Hampton failed to state they will clean and service your room "if requested". When I was finally told "you hadn't requested service" I said well if you bring me a vacuum, furniture polish and clean linens I'll do it my self. To my amazement a knock on the door, maintenance, I said in the phone with Hilton he said "gotcha vacuum". I said leave it and I'll get it. All of this exchange while I have Hilton customer service on the phone. Not 5 minutes passed, knock on my door, "Maintenance, I need my vacuum, I said I'm on the phone with Hilton, "listen this ain't no housekeeping, it's maintenance"! As if I cared maintenance or housekeeping. I vacuumed my on room with their vacuum and changed out my linens. To say I will never return to this location would be an understatement. This very well could stop me from staying at Hilton everywhere! Since the prices at Hilton continue to sky rocket while their services continue to diminish. Their competitor Marriott the prices are much more competitive and their service is on point every time. Negative stars would be more appropriate.

An out of order pool in July in North Carolina? You got to be kidding me. SIGH

We stayed here five days. The place is tired. To begin with our room door did not lock. At first we were told nothing could be done other than to try to fix it, but the handyman could not fix it. Yes, we could put a chair up against the door, but for five days...not so much. The office finally gave us another room reserved by someone who had not shown up. This door did lock. It was handicapped accessible, and it worked. It was first floor. We didn't meet the people who got the room we had. Hopefully all was well with them. As for the rest of the hotel, the breakfast was good and a nice selection. The patio furniture had seen better days. I've posted pictures. We found dinner elsewhere and ate on the patio. But we had to be careful which chairs we sat in. Some were not stable, and others had a wasp nest close by. But we did find a table and chairs which worked for us. Not sure I'd stay here again. The location was fabulous and is close proximity to exactly where we needed to be. But...a tired hotel is a tired hotel. Also it was July and the pool was closed. SIGH

Very nice Hampton Inn hotel located in Bermuda Run NC just off interstate 40. The rooms were clean and the staff was efficient and very friendly. Lots of social distancing notices to keep everyone aware and safe . The beds were comfortable. And room was very fresh and cleaned. Hilton brand is working hard to keep hotel and rooms updated. There was fresh coffee and water available all day . Breakfast was good though do to Corona virus no fresh foods were available. Everything was microwave prepared other than yogurts & Cereals. Indoor Pool area was fantastic with a huge slide that kept kids entertained so there's that ! Fireplace outside with lots of seating made evening relaxing and enjoyable. If you're needing to stay near a Winston Salem this is definitely a place to consider. Two thumbs way up

Looks can be deceiving! We were pleasantly greeted at the front desk and looking forward to relaxing in our room. As soon as we opened the door, it wreaked of cigarette smoke and mildew. The pull out sofa looked like it was retrieved from a garbage dumpster....full of stains and cigarette burns. We found hairs in the refrigerator. Lamp shades were stained and broken. When we called the front desk for another room, we were told the hotel was booked and because we had already entered the room, it was considered used and would require cleaning. Thus, not being able to give the room to the next guest. Extremely disappointed and will never book this hotel again. Other rooms may have been sufficient; however, this one was not! Btw, I'm not a Karen.

This is a very clean hotel in a good location convenient to Winston Salem, NC. They have an indoor pool with water slides. In the morning, breakfast is served in the dining area located at the lobby. Food is adequate with a waffle maker, omelettes, oatmeal, grits, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, and French toast. This location also has a couple restaurants within walking distance as well as a grocery store nearby. There is even a hospital nearby if you have too much fun. Overall, this is a great place to lay your head with many things close.

    Lovely pool water.

Worst place I've ever tried to stay. If you enjoy Chuckie Cheese, birthday Parties, stink, bugs, and filthy pool water, this is the place for you!! Absolutely disgusting. Most expensive 2 hours of my life. Checked in, checked out the room, checked out the pool, and LEFT!! No manager on duty on a Saturday afternoon. Hot tub was out of order, yet children were playing in the dirty water then back to the pool and slide area. Can you say gross!! All I can say is look closer at where you choose to stay and don't stay here!! This was worse than a pay by the hour motel, not up to Hilton standards for sure!!!

I stayed here last week, and I had a great experience. This time I had a room with a bed, sofa, fridge, and microwave. The room was so big, ten people could have easily slept on the floor. There was no closet though, and I think this much be a trend with the rooms in this hotel. In the mornings, there is free breakfast, but this is the only Hampton where I've stayed (stayed at many) that provides a quick lunch bag breakfast on the run - a packaged muffin, a Special K bar, an apple, bottled water, and mints. It's not much, but definitely a life saver when I'm at work and don't have time for lunch. It's also a great addition to my morning Starbucks. The reason for the five stars is the pool area. There is a pool, whirlpool (timer is near the hot tub), and two water slides that are two stories tall!!! They jut outside of the hotel, and you land back inside the hotel, so they are totally enclosed. If the water slides are off, go to the front desk and ask them to turn on the electricity. Understandably, they turn off the electricity on a slow day. The front desk lady left the desk to turn on the electricity for me, and she returned after I had finished going up and down the slides after 30 minutes, which was very nice of her. Since she turned on the electricity for just me, the hotel gets five stars!

We checked in about 6:45pm on a Friday. As soon as we got to the room the trashcan was overflowing with trash still. The pool is ice cold and the hot tub is not operational. We have now been sitting in the pool area while the kids play and have had to listen to a high pitch alarm go off for 20 minutes. We will not be returning to the place.

Dirty pool floor area. Wet towels everywhere. Where is the hotel staff?

The area is clean and organized and there is always staff on hand during that time. There are also a dozen different eateries within a short distance of this hotel that make eating dinner or lunch in the area simple, as most of them are very good. The main reason I am leaving a review is due to what occurred when I woke up the next morning. Around 8 in the morning I go to grab breakfast which has a great selection and delicious hot food. If I could bring him back to my state I would hire him on the spot. I will definitely be stopping back here next time I'm in the area!!

Chosen family- John has been family to the brides side since before she was born. We arrived at 3pm on a cool, fall Saturday in November. The grounds beg to be explored, the history of the house has secrets in her stairwells and rooms. The architecture breathtaking. We waited by the koi pond until it was time to take our seats in the lower garden for the ceremony. Cocktail hour was outside as well and the temperature was dropping. We couldn't wait to get inside for dinner. Well- it wasn't much warmer indoors. The dining area was split between two rooms, one of which was a sun room- all glass doors around the room. The interior room had a giant fireplace blazing in the center. We sat in the outer room- my shawl stayed on throughout dinner. I wore fleece leggings under my gown because I am always cold, but even that wasn't enough. The staff! They wowed me- from escorting guest to the powder rooms (clear on the other side of the house), to the bartenders making drinks the whole night, to the servers working our side of the dining room. Every member of the staff was beyond helpful and friendly. Amanda and Katherine worked the bar & were fantastic! And the servers I encountered all hustled while helping the guests- Christian, Dylan & Kelton were on our dining room team. Special shout out to all of them, they made a great impression. Food- fresh salad and warm dinner rolls were set down first. Wine glasses filled & water glass too. John and I both opted for steak as our main- cooked perfectly and I know that's not easy when catering an event. The whipped potatoes and green beans perfection. The table were set beautifully. The dance floor was in the pool room, the put the floor down right over it! Which was comical because of the bounce in the floors once the dancing began. Being cold the whole time, I couldn't wait for the dj to turn it up. They had the doors open for the dance floor room leading out to the lower gardens where the nuptials were earlier. At this point the sun had set and all of the guest were cold. That was my only complaint- we needed heat for cocktail hour and definitely heat for dinner. Once the dancing began, I warmed up quickly & even had to take 10 outside, without my shawl, to cool down! The festivities were to go on till 10:30pm, but some of us more seasoned guests departed before that. I really hope to come back and explore the estate in the future.
