The ambiance and the decor was very decent and had amazing fabric with their towels and sheets !! Had the most relaxing nights sleep here!!

Room service lacking. Was there for 9 nights the room was not serviced once after 5 nights , had to complain at front desk. The house keeping came one time out of 9 nights. Never took the trash out. Never filled the coffee station, never replenished the towels. Front staff was friendly but I need my room cleaned. read more

Nasty mold. Throughout the bathroom. Attempts to cover mold with spray paint. Inconsistent room cleanings and towel refreshing were a bit of an issue as well. We never knew if the room would be cleaned and fresh towels added. A once great hotel has taken a turn for the worse. We've stayed here multiple times over the years. if i could give this place a 0/10 stars i would. my mom woke up at 2:00 am to her eye swollen and bug bites all over her face, and moved to the car. than at 3:00 am my aunt woke up to a bug crawling across the bed and tons and tons of bug bites on her thigh. we went up to the front desk and demanded for refund and all they did was write our name down. so therefor i will not be expecting a refund. so if you want to wake up at 3:00am and come sleep in your car come on by this hampton inn & suites wiggins. I have been staying here periodically over the past two years. I have never had a bad experience. The room has always been clean, smells good and great customer service. The breakfast has been good and fresh. This is the first time we have used the pool. My granddaughter always asks if we're staying at the fancy hotel (lol). Now to head back home to Tennessee until the next time. read more

We spent the weekend of August 1-3 at this location. The rooms, lobby, elevators was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I don't think the general manager is a people person. She don't fit in with the staff. Every time we pass through this town, we always stayed at this hotel. It was the warm welcome, friendly faces, and the conversations of the past general manager-Miss Pam. Pam valued every customer, their families and would walk through the breakfast area to speak or greet every customer. I understand this is a different time with the COVID, but the general manager should forget about her title and be nice to people that are paying her salary. Life is too short to be a snob. read more

We stayed at this hotel twice in a week at the beginning and end of our vacation. We chose this place because we were traveling with a dog and they are pet friendly. I am also a Hilton Honors club member so I could use my points. The first stay had a great check in and relaxing night sleep. My son woke up with what looked like mosquito bites on his neck so we applied benadryl and thought nothing of it. Breakfast was disappointing. Eggs and sausage was old everything else was running out or gone. And there was still an hour and half left of service. Okay we did our week long beach vacation in Florida then back to this hotel in Wiggins. We arrived at about 4:30pm and only one of our two rooms were ready. Check in is supposed to be 3pm we waited until 5:30 pm still no room. I called Hilton corporate and they called the hotel. Suddenly our room was ready and we got a $15 gift card to Taco Bell for our trouble. Gee thanks... Taco Bell! So we go somewhere else for dinner, come back and get ready for bed. We woke up and my wife had a bug on her with I squached promptly. We were both itching and found spots of blood on the bed so we began removing sheets and pilow cases and found and collected about 6 bedbugs and took them to the front desk when we checked out. We threw all of our clothes away to keep from taking the bugs home. The hotel offered to refund our room and an apology. My skin is still crawling. read more

Relatively new hotel and this place is great!! Very clean and the accommodations were fantastic. Was in two hotels in Hattiesburg earlier in the week - the Hilton Garden Inn and the Courtyard. This hotel was hands down better than both of those. read more

Stayed here for 3 nights for a family reunion and the staff were excellent. Very conscientious and helpful. Rooms were cleaned well and in very good shape. Doors on both side require a key to enter at all times, but would also like a key required for elevators. The breakfast had just enough of everything. Would definitely stay again when in the area. read more

A very good hotel from an Angelino used to five stars. The Hilton name and service were kept as expected. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The hair dryer didn't work: it was fixed the next day. The room had an spacious walk in closet, refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was on time and one of the better ones I've seen. Only one downside: the hotel is located very close to a plywood plant that runs 24/7 and is quite noisy. We dealt with this by running music all night. If you are disturbed by the sound of manufacturing don't stay in the even numbered rooms. The hotel has an outdoor pool but no hot tub. Also handicapped access was pretty bad. They have two handicapped spots but the doors aren't automatic and have to be opened. Had I still been in a wheelchair I would not have been able to get in. read more

Very clean hotel and great breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back. The only thing that was disappointing was the pool. The pool gate didn't had key access so there were a bunch of people when we got there and soon after they took off but left a lot of trash on the floor ( McDonald's bags and wrap paper, candy wraps, empty lotion container and so on). read more

These folks are awesome. Pam was instrumental in getting us checked in. She called the room to make sure everything was perfect. You would think she owns the hotel the way she handled business. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Crystal was very nice and talked to us at length about customer service. She cares for the people staying at the hotel. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great nights sleep at a reasonable price and super friendly service. read more
