This hotel is located near the junction of Interstate 10 and Interstate 110 in D'Iberville, MS. It…read morewas actually a bit confusing getting here, so we ended up having to get back on the interstate and come back around from the other direction. At least that time we were able to get there. My visit here was on July 28, 2021. After a long day of driving and traffic issues along the way, it was nice to finally get here that night. We got here much later than expected due to those traffic issues earlier in the day. Of course, the weather didn't help either with storms. The check in was actually done ahead of time through the Hilton app, so the app was used as the key to the room for the stay. When you come inside, the place is very inviting. Due to the pandemic, there wasn't anyone out front at the desk. It's another sign that they have been trying to drive check ins through the app instead. Overall, there was minimal interaction with others during this visit too, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Masks were required while in the public areas of the hotel if you are unvaccinated for Covid-19, but we were fully vaccinated already. With getting here so late, I wasn't able to fully explore the hotel on this visit, as I like to do when I go to any hotel. The room that I had was room 222. When coming into the room, it was very clean and fresh. This has been the general experience I have had with hotels in the past too. The beds were comfortable as well. After taking care of a few things, it was time to just turn in for the night. The sleep overall was good, especially when it's not the bed you are used to at home. Overall, it was a good restful and comfortable sleep. In the morning, it was time to see what they had available for breakfast. Due to the pandemic, the breakfast options were extremely limited. There were some pastries and some pre-packaged sandwiches that you could heat up in the microwave, along with some bread items including bagels. Overall, this was a pretty good stay for me for that one night. They definitely have lots of things you could still do there, including the pool and exercise room. I like their rooms too since they are all suites and have more room to move around in too. If you are traveling through this area and looking for a good hotel, this place is worth checking out.

Hey. Not bad!! I was a little worried but ended up being pleasantly surprised and happy. I decided…read morelast minute to visit. And it turned out to be homecoming weekend. Oof. So I always stay at Hotel Indigo. Which is amazing. But they had one room left and the room rate was a solid $100 more per night than we usually pay. Nope!! I saw this place had good reviews. And it was a third of the price. Good but concerning? Decided to give it a try. So, it was safe and clean. Nice sized rooms. Super bright!!! I loved that!! It was kinda old-school in some respects. Had to put down my license plate number. Can't tell you when a hotel last asked that of me! By the beds, only two outlets, no USB outlets. Of the two outlets, one was used by the alarm clock. The available outlet was accessed by threading your wire through two circular holes in the nightstand. That was a pain. And to get onto the internet you had to enter a ten (10!) character code. Dude at the desk when I checked in only gave me one day of access to both my room key and internet, even though I was there four days. So on the first morning I had to go to the desk to get my room card and internet extended for the rest of my stay. Kind of irritating but not the end of the world. No gift/snack shop. It did have free breakfast but we never partook. It had vending machines on the floors. Oh and the motion sensor doors didn't work very well when entering the building so you'd have to wave your hand around to get the door to open. But listen. The price was right! Other guests were friendly. It was clean and safe. Most of the employees were friendly. Not all. But most.

Great Value, Comfy and Quiet…read more Well maintained, updated from the lobby into the rooms. A little confusion at the front desk at check in. I got the room keys and went to check out the room and found the bathroom had a tub, not a low entry shower. What was worse was that there were no grab bars in or near the tub so there was no way my wife could use the tub/shower. I went back to the desk and explained the problem. While being friendly, the staff told me I did not book an accessible room. I'm sure I booked a handicap accessible room. She switched us to another room and all was fine. I just didn't appreciate saying I made the error. We both slept well on terrific mattresses and pillows. Breakfast was good with make your own waffles and the other usual quick breakfast fare. The bonus item was the microwaveable biscuit, sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. The free wi-fi worked, but since it is not secure, we only used it for public things, no personal stuff. T-mobile personal hotspot worked well. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant. We would certainly stay here again.

When we first checked in, our room's smell slapped us in the face with cigarette smoke and…read morewater/must/mold. Very strong. The front desk actually called up to us after we got to our room to ask if we were okay with everything or needed anything. I brought up the smell and she said it's a non-smoking room so it shouldn't be that bad. It felt like a dismissal of liability but whatever. I didn't trade rooms because I wanted to be across from my father's room. Thankfully my baby doesn't have asthma or respiratory issues. We all kept waking up with runny noses and headaches though, so it's a situation. I was concerned with cleaning room staff because one of the ladys walked into my room (I had a "do not disturb" sign on the door!) and then walked out after figuring out that we were inside. Upon walking down the hallway I noticed another member of cleaning staff doing something in a guest's room, and after he left he didn't close the door. He left it opened for some reason even after he had finished refreshing the room!! More concern. To top off my concerns, when we arrived back at our room for the night after being at my grandmother's funeral we parked next to a couple blatantly having sex and smoking weed in their vehicle. I looked over so they would KNOW I saw and the male exited his car. However, when I spoke to the front desk clerk about the safety concerns I had she told me "if I don't mess with them they won't mess with me" and "we have cameras if they did try to mess with anything." After I walked away from the desk, she burst out laughing and told the other two ladies standing there something, probably making fun of me for being concerned. My husband and I were contemplating leaving immediately. When we woke up and stepped out of room door, it was an overpowering smell of weed. The staff were the only ones in the hallways. I used the laundry machines to wash/dry clothes, it costs $2 in quarters for each. There are no quarter machines so you have to go down to the front desk and trade dollar for quarters. One of the machine's detergent drawer was completely missing and detergent had leaked down the washer. The ice machine right beside it didn't work. This is on the third floor, I cannot speak to any of the other floors. I feel like I'm just adding insult to injury at this point so I'm done. I will add that one of the only redeeming factors is the breakfast and breakfast staff! The lady refreshing the food was so kind and kept everything very clean. In conclusion, if you're looking for a place to stay to chill/smoke weed/have sex in the parking lot/wake up with headaches and runny noses from the smoke inside your room this is your place. This location has signage communicating a smoke-free environment but that doesn't apply obviously. The sad part, the other surrounding hotels didn't look much better on this exit. My advice would be stay at a different exit. Having to drive a little further would've been worth not having my family's safety compromised. They just don't care to follow rules!

The toilet had not been cleaned, because there was hair and dust on the toilet seat. I had to kill a large spider in the room crawling on the wall. There was metal sticking out from the bottom of the bed (I'm assuming from the bed frame and my senior citizen husband hit his ankle on it! See all my pictures of documentation! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
