Hotel review This is going to be long so apologies in advance! First and foremost I want to thank the staff for being so kind when it came to my concerns! Very warm and welcoming people however if we could do it over again we would have booked at a different Hilton option as the first 24hrs we already were running into issues. And at $240 a night for three nights...we feel robbed. We got in very late and we were tired -- our room seemed tidy but opening the windows in the morning on closer inspection it just "looked" tidy. There were long black hairs on the bathroom floor (we all have light hair). Bad dust buildup and hairs and crumbs around our fridge and microwave. And all around the bathroom sink there was dust and grime that I just rubbed my finger across (all in pics). As an Airbnb cleaner myself I understand time crunches and stuff happens. As a multiple year diamond member though I was hoping they could just switch our rooms even if it wasn't an upgrade and we could start fresh considering we had only been in the room for less than 10 hours and we still had a few days left in our stay. Instead we had to schedule a time to be absent from our room so housekeeping could come in and clean it, which with two young children and my husband at work with our vehicle was inconvenient so we were hoping for a simple room switch. There were hardly any people at the hotel the place was dead so we figured it would not be a big deal. The chlorine at the pool and jacuzzi was amazing the first night but the next day so strong that our eyes burned and my kids couldn't stop coughing so unfortunately our favorite part about being at a hotel we could only do for short periods of time. The bubbles that came from the jacuzzi had a brownish green film at the top and grime all over the inside water line (also pictured). At other Hilton's or affiliates we've never had a cleanliness issue, they usually upgrade us when they can for diamond status (we never ask as that's rude) and we are seldom complainers, other people's hair and dust and grime just grosses me out the staff did inform me that just had a crazy busy weekend and things were just so chaotic and I totally get that as a cleaner and pool maintainer myself. I'm sure a lot of what I saw has to do with the fact that I am a cleaner and probably notice things that others don't. The pool continued to be overwhelming with chlorine our whole stay to the point of coughing and eyes burning. Breakfast was....okay. We still enjoyed ourself and it was a seemingly safe place to stay with great places to eat and a kind staff.

Bonus noise all night long .

Business trip, 4 of us checked in at 6pm, I asked to be possibly ok the same floor for convenience. we ended up on floor 1,2,3,4. I asked to be at a quiet place because I'm a light sleeper. my room was two door from the elevator, there was a huge fan blowing right out of my door all night long , I slept with the noise level as on an airplane. Yea forgot to mention they operated during construction . my window was taped and sealed by plastic cover from outside . the end of the hallway is wide open . Never had such horrible experience. Don't understand what made the front desk guy wanted to punish me. To be fair, room and bathroom are nice and clean. Breakfast is decent. The one start was given to the front desk clerk and hotel management.

The first night, it happened around 9 PM and they got most of the people outside before they announced it was a false alarm. The rest of the time, it happened super late but only went off two or three times before someone shut it down. Still, it's pretty irritating to be jolted out of your REMs by a screaming noise. Also, if a real fire was taking place, there would probably be a lot of casualties because we'd all been ignoring it for the better part of a week. Other than the false alarms, it's been a good experience.

Instead, when I arrived at Comfort Inn & Suites in Kent, I was hit with a surprise $250 "hold" that was never clearly disclosed during booking. When I questioned it, the front desk associate MAYRA looked at me and said, "maybe you don't read." Let that sink in. I wasn't loud. I wasn't disrespectful. I was tired. I was grieving. I even shared that I had recently lost my child and just needed rest--not conflict. Her tone changed, and she told me she would waive the fee "this time." But after I left and came back, I later found out she left a note for the next shift to collect the deposit anyway. That's not just unprofessional--that's deceptive. This wasn't about the money. It was about how I was treated as a human being in a vulnerable moment. No compassion. No accountability. Just attitude and backtracking. If you're booking here, be aware: - There may be hidden fees not clearly explained - You may not be treated with respect if you question it I will not be returning. Do better.

This lodge was used for our return flight from SEATAC to HNL due to the convenience factor close to the airport. One thing I've learned over many years of travel - stay closer to the hotel if you have an early morning flight out. Don't risk staying miles away driving in traffic, because anything can happen. STELLAR: - Shout out to TJ and Minerva!!! - We were treated with the utmost care and almost like family the minute we checked in to drop off our luggage. We were very early but didn't want to explore Seattle with luggage in our rental car, so they stored it for us. They texted us several hours later to tell us our room was early. We ended up checking in at 10:30 PM because we had other plans and forgot to tell the hotel. They were very worried about us as they saw our luggage still sitting on the floor. They feared we got into a bad accident, or got kidnapped, and all other manner of bad things. Next time I will make sure to call ahead. GREAT: - Rooms are clean and comfortable, nice and spacious! - Quiet and restful. - Very attractive grounds. My plan was to explore but we got back late into the night, so perhaps next time. - Self parking, lot of room! Open-air. - Super close to the airport, less than 15 minutes away. - Complimentary mini Haagen Daas Ice Creams in the common lounge in the freezer (see picture) - Complimentary purified water stations, coffee in the AM and cookies. - Affordable, especially if you book out a year in advance like I did. We paid $274.36 for a Double Queen. - Self park daily $33.00. Other: - We grabbed take out breakfast from Taco Bell down the street for the airport wait. - If you want to have some wine, cocktails or beer, save your money, don't buy any from the gas station down the street, the cost was prohibitive. Buy before you get to Cedarbrook. The Lodge has a cocktail lounge but didn't try it. Amazing lodge with the best service, clean, spacious and quiet rooms on a gorgeous property near SEATAC airport. Return Factor: - Yes, next time will try to enjoy the grounds and the amenities instead of using it as a crash pad.

Was in the city for a friends wedding over the weekend and searched the nearest location to that for the best price. I didn't like how there wasn't a pool but I did like how there was a 7/11 there for coffee or whatever else I might have forgotten to pack. As the top value in what was apparently a busy weekend for Seattle I pulled the trigger without too much planning or thought. Upon arrival at around midnight I was greeted by a very hard working guy - juggling a steady stream of people arriving and phone calls. He managed and prioritized everything very well. There was some construction going on and he checked the room to make sure it was ready and left the light on for me. Before leaving for my room and I turn around and see a friend I hadn't seen in a couple months. Two like minded individuals I suppose who appreciated a good value. It instantly felt like home. The room was so quiet. One of the main reasons I don't like staying at hotels is because of thin walls and questionable cleanliness. In the room I never heard one person walk past my room or the neighbors beside or on top of me. No noise from the parking lot either. I got a perfect nights rest. How clean was it? Good enough is the answer. This isn't a $400 a night room where everything looks like new with perfectly polished fixtures in the bathroom. Its also a place that is dog friendly - so you might find a piece of fur here or there - I've got that in my own house too, so... Other criticism for the place was a slow drain in the bathroom and a/c filters that were past due for cleaning. I had a small HEPA air purifier in my car from the CA fires that I brought into the room and the drain? Well, my drains are slow too. Feels like home seems to be the promise they deliver on. Other amenities included microwave, stove top, kitchen sink, huge full size fridge and two windows that opened 6" each. If you really want to nest you can apparently do laundry (saw my friend in the hall with that) and cook up a storm. I generally didn't spend much time in the room beside sleeping though. Come with realistic expectations and enjoy the quiet, value and convenient location here.

The customer service was okay. The staff portrayed a more polite/quiet and professional vibe. So not like overly friendly or super amazing. But they are still nice. We were greeted and checked in by a younger looking lady and she also voluntarily let me know about the pending charges so I would not need to worry about any double charges. I have stayed here before on June 11th and so I wasn't concerned about any fraudulent charges as we were only charged once so I don't know why people are saying there are fraudulent charges. (I work in HR customer service so I am VERY aware of pending charges and they always usually disappear once the pending charges post) Room is clean. Beds are comfy for me and my bf (but we r not too picky). Pillows are decent and comfy. Things in the room seem slightly outdated like the lights flicker a bit when they turn on but honestly it's not a big deal for us at all. The water pressure in the shower is not the best but I personally don't mind as it still does what it should as a shower. I don't really have any complaints as everything seems to work as it should. And for the price? This place is very hard to beat. (pictures of the room are after we placed our stuff everywhere and paid in the bed a bit. The bed was actually perfectly made and surfaces were spotless when we originally got in the room) The door sometimes doesn't shut all the way so we would need to push on it a bit to completely shut it and the room keys can be finicky when trying to open the door. So it's only a mild inconvenience but considering everything u get for the price, this inconvenience is not a big deal at all. Internet is slow. But it is consistent and functional. Customer service overall was good. Wouldn't say it was amazing, but nice and professional. Location is pretty nice and quiet. However walls are thin so I wouldn't recommend doing anything too loud unless u want others to hear. Facilities are nice and functional as last time we were here I believe most the facilities were closed including the breakfast. So it's nice to see that it's open again. Complimentary breakfast is from 5am - 9am and they provide a nice variety. (Provided a video of the breakfast provided) Location is a nice quiet remote area. If u walk further down the street there are some sketchy people but I haven't seen any of them come onto the hotel property so the property feels safe for the most part. My significant other asked about an extended stay here but a lady who looked more like in a management position, advised him that unfortunately they only do 3 nights at a time. But when I went to ask, they treated me with way more respect than my significant other. She told me that we can continue to stay as long as we get housekeeping every second/third day. (I understand my bf is rough around the edges but he doesn't mean to come off rude. He just is constantly stressed and sometimes the stress leaks into his actions). Part of me is a little concerned that maybe they are slightly racist or judge on appearances. However, I know my significant other came from a not very wealthy upbringing and he can come off as rude but I genuinely feel like customer service should always be giving the customer the benefit of the doubt with the utmost respect regardless of how rude someone is. (As due to my work, I feel I have a good understanding of excellent customer service) Overall I would highly recommend this place as long as the facilities are open and u don't mind feeling slightly judged . As for the facilities they are very nice and I feel like this hotel is 3-star quality but remains a 2-star due to small things like being out-dated, not having their facilities open during the slow times, and poor customer service. This place would have gotten 5 stars however they lose a star for their poor customer service to my significant other and for not having their facilities open during the slow season. I mean it's understandable as to why they don't have the facilities open during the slow season because they are trying to save money and I completely understand that. But I would have not taken a star off if they were more understanding and weren't rude to my significant other. If things improve, I definitely can see myself staying here in the future and giving them my money.
