Price gouging people trying to flee a category 5 hurricane. $617.00 a night? They should be ashamed but clearly have no shame.

Trying out a new spot as we layover on our trip to NC. This was in the same area as the Holiday Inn and it was walking distance to a restaurant we wanted to try, Toucans. Very clean. Looked new! Indoor pool and jacuzzi if you take a motion for a swim. Staff was amazing. Very friendly. Checked us in and upgraded us to the King suite! Wry nice. The room was huge. Living room, large wet bar and nice bathroom. Everything was clean and smelled awesome! Really great hotel. We will stop again.

Never will I EVER.............. stay at a Country Inn Suites again!! The Brunswick, Ga location room 315 was a disgusting from check in to check out. Front office check in: No one is EVER there, they are either in the side room smoking and chatting it up or they are in the lobby, there was a baby there the entire time. Daughter rang the bell six times before someone came. The entire hotel smelled like a sour mop and mold. Room 315 was beyond disgusting. Every part of the carpet had a stain, the suite area setup very outdated and full of stains on the chair and sofa which didn't even match each other. Bathroom two bulbs were burnt out one socket not working, entire inside toilet had satins in it and floor was deplorable. The bedroom curtains dirty with a blood stain. The bed sheet had a stain on it. Overall just horrible, the owner needs to totally sanitize, clean and remodel the ENTIRE hotel. Daily rate should be $50 or less this place isn't worth a penny more!

I have been a very loyal Marriott rewards member for over 26 years and have reached the Titanium Elite lifetime membership, but I guess that doesn't seam to hold any weight at the Brunswick Courtyard Marriott. I used my first reward voucher ever and it was not a Bonvoy happy experience. We checked in at midnight. The lobby was empty and there was one associate on duty. That's where the good part stoped. I asked if there were any upgrades available and was told the hotel is completely booked. I was ok with that. When we checked into our room we were greeted by a very nauseous cloud of weed (marijuana). Either someone was just in the room smoking, or the scent lingered in from adjoining rooms. When I called the front desk to ask if they could send someone up I was told to come down to the front desk and they would change my room. So I packed up my family and we returned to the front desk were we patiently waited for 15-minutes, which was not easy that late, for the front desk associate to finish with a checkin she was working on. When she finished she informed me that there were no rooms available to move me to. I asked her why did you have us come down then? We could have avoided the uncomfortable situation if she just told me that on the phone. We then returned to our original room we opened the sliding door to get the extreme odor of weed out of the room. Not exactly how we wanted to sleep on a cold night and with the noise of the adjacent highway. During breakfast I asked the front desk for a breakfast voucher that I typically get due to my Titanium Elite Status. It was a bit of a struggle, but the front desk associate gave me a voucher that she said was good for only two people. I was ok with that and said I'd pay for the rest of my family. When we approached the breakfast counter it was empty. The woman working the counter was not that friendly, but it's Christmas so I understood. I paid for a $4 bagel and was charged $6.50 and I gave a $3.50 tip. The bagel was nuked and was a bit chewy at first, then it turned into a rock, like when you over cook bread in a microwave. The bagel was delivered to the table with one pat of butter, I asked if there was any cream cheese. She said no and walked away. Not the best breakfast experience. Overall I was very disappointed. I travel for work 160 days a year and typically stay local when I'm on vacation, so I was excited to take advantage of my status and hopefully share a positive travel experience with my family. Instead it was a negative start to my holiday weekend. I am done with The Courtyard Marriott. Kind regards, Joe

Nice place for a short stay (1-4 days) everything I needed this place had, large room microwave fridge and a tub. For any stays a week or shorter I would happily choose this hotel

The room was clean. Service was quick and everyone was friendly. The indoor pool is extremely cold and the hot tub could use some cleaning.

Stayed here for a month in September 2025 for work. This was probably the single worst hotel…read moreexperience I've had in my life. I'll start with the highs: the staff is reasonable friendly, and the A/C in the room does get pretty cold. And that's where the good ends. Housekeeping is hit or miss--there were multiple days when I returned to my room at the end of the day only to find an unmade bed, despite housekeeping being a daily-promised thing at this property. And despite this, one of the housekeepers had the gumption to leave a hand-written note asking for tips. Sorry, while I do usually tip for that service, when you start expecting it, especially after not actually providing housekeeping, I'm not inclined to reward that. Now for the really bad. At the time, the hotel's keycard encoding machine was not working. For a solid month. My classmates and I were admonished by the front desk staff not to lose our keys (or, oddly, the paper keycard sleeves--guess those are in short supply?), because they could not be replaced. A coworker was staying in an adjoining room, and his keycard stopped working. The hotel's solution? Giving him a master key. Yes, this random guest was provided with a key that could open any room in the hotel. Which he demonstrated by unlocking my door. Lovely. Then, the painting. Rather than spend money on something that would actually improve the guest experience, like deep-cleaning the carpets to get rid of whatever that weird, pervasive smell was in the hallways on every floor, the property owner decided to repaint the exterior of the hotel. Another coworker staying in the hotel was parked adjacent to the building on the day painting started. The front desk had our vehicle information and knew who every vehicle parked on the property belonged to. Did they contact my coworker to ask him to move the vehicle? They did not. They wrapped it in plastic and continued with the painting. Finally, checkout day. Checkout is at noon. I had moved most of my stuff out of my room the day prior, but had left several things, like my Keurig, a Squatty Potty, and a rather expensive Dyson fan. Upon arriving at the hotel at 10:30 AM to grab the last of my stuff, I was surprised to find that my room was empty, everything cleared out. I went down to the front desk, where the clerk was surprised to see me. "You're still here? We thought you checked out." Why? Why would you think that? I haven't turned in my key, the one you were so adamant about me returning. Also, there were still several items left in my room, things which nobody would reasonably expect would be discarded so callously. And again, the hotel knows who is staying in their rooms. I was required to provide my cell phone number at check-in. Was a courtesy call made to ensure I had not left without checking out, absconding with that irreplaceable keycard and its wilted paper sleeve? No, of course not. After about ten minutes, one of the housekeeping staff sheepishly returned my Dyson fan to me, along with the Keurig. The Squatty Potty was MIA, but frankly, after some stranger has manhandled it, I would have felt weird using it. An acceptable loss at this point. Side note: the hotel has but a single washer and dryer. If you're planning on an extended stay, this ain't the move.
