Unfortunately, David's travel arrangements were compromised, and he was unable to make the trip. I've already booked a make-up trip in December, primarily to see his 96 year-old grandfather. Although you couldn't do cartwheels in this suite, it was very roomy and comfortable. And with 2 bathrooms, Gayle and I each picked one. The spare bedroom became a place to store or suitcases (and repack). We slept well in our bedroom and spend a lot of time in the living room, largely catching up on all of our volunteer work back home. There's also a nice small kitchen, which makes this and other suites a good choice for extended or larger family stays. Front desk staff were very engaged and keen to make sure we had a nice stay. The "free hot breakfast" was relatively standard, but tasty. I especially appreciated that coffee was available in the Lobby at all hours and that the breakfast food was out earlier than the stated time. This hotel is relatively new and has worn its age very well so far. Parking was free and plentiful and there was easy access to US 30. Having also stayed at the Fairfield Inn sister hotel, I would probably choose this TownePlace depending on the price comparisons at the time.

We had lunch one day at the restaurant and the server was accommodating as service was ending at 2p (our order was placed around 1:58p for about 6-8 of us). Later we were told by one of the GM's (Tim?) that would change as they look to remove the time constraints. Going back to (Tim - sorry if that was not your name), he came by later in the night to check on us, was courteous and offered us a free round, which some of us took him up on his offer. Can't look up a reservation he would have made on the date we supposedly handled all this. Really? They were no help at all. When trying to clear this up once I reached home, that guy wasn't available two different times, the manager will be in tomorrow morning. I called today. No, she's out for a few days....Now they're saying he did make a reservation but I canceled it! WHAT?? Flat out lie! We had to sleep in my horse trailer for pete's sake! I got a whole bunch of lies-I called Choice (?) and canceled it, (untrue) their records show I did that? Via email? They never had my email....one lie after another!! DO NOT STAY HERE

We went to the front desk to resolve and the night attendant was about as friendly as a wet raccoon locked out of its dumpster house. Don't remember her name but pink hair and started with a K- real peach of a lady. Instead of listening to the issue she insisted we were in a different room sending us upstairs to an empty room even though we had the envelope with the room number on it- we entertained the nonsense and sure enough she sent us to the wrong room forcing us to go back down to explain again to find out that we were correct all along. After almost 30 mins we finally were given a working key to our correct room. To top off the experience, when we get back up to the room it smells like hot diarrhea- not saying this for effect. It actually smells like straight ass and onions in here. We could go back and battle it out with the snippy front desk lady again but doubt she will be helpful at this point. 100% do not recommend this hotel, we've been loyal Hilton Honors members for years and this was enough to make me switch to another brand.

The front desk staff was so friendly and welcoming, and probably the nicest I've experienced in awhile. And it was both the gentleman on Friday night and a separate gentleman Saturday morning. Both were fantastic. The hotel was clean and looked updated. The pool and hot tub were open, but sadly we did not have time to use either. The continental breakfast in the morning was great. They had the coolest pancake machine ever, hot premade omelets, bacon, different breads, yogurt, cereal, and cinnamon rolls. There was also hot coffee, hot water, and juices. Definitely a pretty decent breakfast. Our room was clean, didn't smell bad, and was at a nice comfortable temperature when we entered. The room had tons of hook for hanging things, tons of shelving, and even a fainting couch. The noise was never an issue here either which is a plus. Everything worked as it should and we never complained to each other about anything related to the room. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it!

I originally planned to stay one night but due to an upcoming snow storm I decided to stay an extra night to avoid the slippery road conditions. The front desk extended my stay with no issue. I interacted with three staff members who were friendly, very accommodating and provided great customer service. The room was clean and neat when I arrived. As far as amenities, they have a fitness gym on the first level, laundry room, vending machines and a small pool. They also provide a free breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
