Stayed here after attending a funeral. Fairly clean. I noticed the bathroom smelled like sewer gas and was permeating thru the room. It was late at night so I tried to sleep with a blanket over my head, but it was not good, so I ended up falling the front desk and they said they were the only employee in the building. I said it was awful and I can't ignore it. He ended up getting me a room across the hall which I appreciate. I woke up to see this crazy headboard, lol. Does it match anything in the room? No, but I'm not complaining- as the room was clean and very quiet. I did notice that usually they say thank you for being a Hilton Diamond member, but they did not say anything here and I had to ask for a water. They pointed to a bag of waters on a table and said "help yourself.". read more

After booking here, I was concerned since I noticed it was only three stars, but it was in close proximity so I just went with it. I'm normally a Marriott customer. This hotel should absolutely be five stars and I'm super picky! Kristina was very personable and friendly during the check-in process. She made me feel super welcome. Overall, this location is okay. The reasons I can't give a perfect score are because customer service isn't outstanding, and maintenance/upkeep isn't great. I wasn't acknowledged as a Hilton Honors member at any point during my stay. Also, I noted this the last time I was here. There are rust stains around the shower. I've seen this in two separate rooms. This stay, I pulled out the ironing board, and feathers went all over the room. I didn't want to be billed for it, so I had to clean it up. (See pictures I attached when I checked in.) As for customer service, the only people who greeted and talked to me was at check-in and check-out. I saw team members throughout my stay, and no one acknowledged me. The lady running breakfast spent most of her time talking to one guest and showing him videos on her phone instead of greeting the rest of us having breakfast. I know this isn't a high-volume location, so it's even more evident when customer service is lacking, especially for a Hilton brand. I wish every Hampton Inn was like this!!!! I have stayed in many. The hotel front desk staff was so conversational and helpful! Recommendations on nearby restaurants (even hooked me up with a coupon!). The room was spacious, very clean. And best.....so quiet!! And also the heating/cooling unit was awesome! This hotel is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in! The shower was full of mold, there were ants everywhere! I was upgraded to a suite only to find about the same thing. The bar sink had some kind of creature in the drain. The cleaning crew opened the door while I was dressing! The "do not disturb" sign hanging on the door. The pool has been closed for well over a month and is cloudy and full of debris. I would have gone to another hotel if the situation had been different. The front desk agent was fast, efficient, kind and welcoming. We were checked in to a mobility accessible room, #416. I loved being able to get a picture of the "welcome to the great lakes state" wall design so easily. I was tired after a long drive. This made getting my picture of where I was for the night easy. It's a small thing for the hotel to do but a big thing for someone on a long trip on a one night stay. The lobby and breakfast area was spotless. There was a booth with a tablet for use by travelers. The elevator was reflective without a single fingerprint. We went from floor 1 - 4 quietly and effortlessly. It was as fast going up 3 floors as it was just closing the doors. My room was directly across from the elevators. The digital key on my phone's app worked perfectly. I was able to handle the door and my Service Dog. The door fully closed automatically behind me. When I went into the bathroom, I pulled on every safety bar and tested every faucet. EVERY bar was completely solid (and I weigh over 200lbs).. The faucets worked. They ran hot and cold. The water appropriately ran into the sink, even with the faucet placed in the corner. The bathroom/closet door had the correct stoppers in place. There were also enough handles to make it easy for me to use. Hooks were strategically placed. I could reach several inside the bathroom and the lobby of our room. I appreciated that the headboard and wall art reflected the local personality. Everything in the room was amazingly CLEAN. I walked around on tan socks. The floor and carpet were CLEAN as well. The only fault that I could find is that the refrigerator should have been turned on since they knew we were coming. A warm refrigerator takes 24 hours to cool down to the correct temperature. read more

The day and afternoon staff are excellent. Cleaning crew could be better but the breakfast lady and 3rd shift are terrible with customer service. I've spent thousands of dollars for my visit and the service from nights and breakfast is the worst. Terrible customer service staff. And after spending thousands per week and minimum dollars in pool cleaning, within weeks, the management is never present and leaves their staff with no support. The front desk is the backbone to this terrible crew. Not worth the money. This place is a joke. read more

While the personnel are friendly, these are things you should know. There is no maid service in the room unless you request it. The room, especially the bathroom, was not clean, so I went to the store to purchase cleaning products and cleaned myself. The floor of the shower had condition still on it. There were also long black hairs and rust in the shower. A good cleaning would do a world of good. I want to reiterate that the personnel were helpful. Adrian has fantastic mountain biking at heritage park. So, I cruised up early Saturday and decided to stay here. I did book my reservation online, it was all weather dependent to go. It was going to be cool with no rain..I digress...I decided to ask if my room was ready at 1:30 and it was not. Not sure why and not going to speculate. I went to heritage park and rode for a couple of hours. I came back and checked in with no issues. My room was clean and no issues there either. I turned on the tv and just static...checked input, nothing. Checked a couple of stations(not all) and nothing. Called down front and asked about the cable. She said they were in disagreement with the cable provider and not one person in the hotel has a tv ....I just hung up. So, they did have wifi...so I was able to listen to the game and drank a couple of beers.. I went to the workout facility in the morning and noticed that the treadmill and bike had tv...there was someone working out and I asked why does the exercise equipment have tv but my room doesn't. I was told that you have to go through every channel and there was a couple of channels that would come in. To me that said, basic cable.. My entire problem with the stay was, when I called down front the day before. I wish that employee was more informed and said only a couple of channels work. Booked a room over a three-day Fathers Day weekend, 2022 Upon check-in we were told there is an additional $200 security deposit being added to the cost of the room that was undisclosed at the time of the booking. When questioned we were told it's been policy for this location as long as that person has worked there. While not a problem for me, it was an issue for the people behind us as it appeared they were traveling on a tighter budget. This needs to be known up front. Hotel was reasonably clean but need more attention to detail. There was a line of rust colored crud where the floor pan of the shower met the tile walls - a little bleach and scrubbing would have resolved this pretty quickly. Additionally, the shower door was on a nice track but would not stay closed - rolled open 8 to 10 inches when a person was standing in the shower. Inconvenient and left a mess that needed to be cleaned up. Apparently there was a baseball tournament in Adrian - This meant ALL hotels were pretty full. Apparently there was no planning for this amount of guests for breakfast. When we went down for breakfast there was no hot food and other items were very sparce. It appeared only one person attempting to handle a full hotel. On Sunday we managed to grab some coffee and juice but there was little else and the place was a mess. Better planning with a full hotel would have resolved this. We watched as most staff walked in between 8:30 and 9:00 AM Cleanliness was lacking in the breakfast area as well. Tables not wiped down well - this edges of tables were left a mess but the surface was wiped. Also the stainless steel bases were dusty and had food remnants on them. On Sunday morning, a guest decided it was a good idea to smoke pot in theit room. Nobody answered the phone when I called the front desk so I went down to speak with someone. I could care less but my wife's breathing issues made this unacceptable for her. The person at the front desk said they were aware and were being "kicked out" but not answering theier phone. At no time did I see her taking any action other or have a sense of urgency on getting them out. Grounds outside were cluttered with debris here and there - paper, plastic bottles and cans. Stayed that way throughout the weekend. Overall, a bit disappointed with the quality of this hotel. For $550 for a three night stay it was pricey for what they offered. Unfortunately, this is the nicest place that Adrian has to offer as the other three nearby hotels are older and not good. So sad because this place is new and could be better, read more

We have stayed here twice. The first time in July of 2021 for two days and again, for two nights Dec 23 and 24 2021. This is a relatively new hotel, but it's already having issues: 1. The elevator smells like cat pee and the posters in it are ripped. 2. The lobby eating area has a STRONG sewer smell. It was so bad yesterday I thought I would pass out. The staff knows about it, but says management won't do anything. That's near FOOD. 3. Today, we could smell the sewer gas smell in our 2nd floor room. Such a shame. The rooms are nice, the staff is nice. But whoever owns this place is a moron. We won't stay here again. There are other good options. read more

I typically don't post reviews on businesses as I have better things to do with my time but I want this to be made aware to the public so this doesn't happen again. I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks spending almost $2000 this month as I travel for business. I'm a diamond member with Hilton and stayed at over 1000 hotels in the past 10 years and never ran into any issues until this one. Upon checking in I already had a bad vibe on some of the staff as though some of them didn't want to be there. Upon checking out I received an invoice with the appropriate amount but I was confused when I checked my bank statement as there was another $750 charged to my card. I called to speak with the manager and he wasn't available so I asked the lady at the front desk to call me back and she said she would. Haven't heard back from the manager in almost 2 weeks so I called corporate and she brought it to my attention that they had charged me the $750 for a broken tv which I can assure was working just fine when I left as I was watching the weather that day. Mind you I checked out the September 9th and could not get in contact with the manager Luke H until September 29th which he provided a photo of a tv. I'm let to believe I'm a victim of fraud and blackmail between the manager and staff based on never receiving notice of this charge. The bottom line is keep an eye on who's working at this location as this had to be done intentionally based on the photo. My girlfriend and I are in our mid 30's and we're their to work and sleep and that's all we did on our stay. Best wishes read more
