Property damage, unfinished work, and unprofessional communication!…read more I am writing this review regarding the incredibly poor service my 79-year-old mother received from TSR Concrete Coatings. While resurfacing her garage floors, the crew spilled a chemical that severely stained her driveway, the public gutter, and the street on July 22nd. Resolving this damage has been a continuous cycle of missed appointments, unreturned calls, and incomplete work. As you can see in the attached photos: The first two images show the extensive, dark staining left behind across her driveway and into the street after the chemical spill. The last two images show the current, unfinished state of the property. The timeline of our experience speaks for itself: July 28: An employee named Alex power-washed the stain. It did not work. Alex reported this to the office and stated "Savannah" would follow up. Early August: After hearing nothing, I called and spoke with Savannah. She promised a crew would arrive on August 21st to grind down, level, and seal the concrete. August 6: Savannah texted to reschedule the appointment to August 28th because the technician would be out of town. August 20: My mother received a confirmation text reiterating the crew would arrive on August 28th between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM. August 28 (No-Show #1): By 2:00 PM, no one had arrived. I called Becca, who promised to check on the crew, and the GM would call me back. No one ever called back, and the crew completely ghosted the appointment. August 31 & September 1 (No-Show #2): I called Becca back on Monday. She rescheduled the crew for Tuesday, September 1st, between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Once again, they failed to show up without any phone call or explanation. September 2: A crew finally showed up and ground down the top layer of the driveway. My mother was told a supervisor would look at it before grinding a second layer and applying a sealant to finish the repair. September 9 & 11: After waiting over a week with zero communication, my mother reached out twice for an update. September 14: My mother was finally told that someone would get back to her. No one has. It has now been nearly two months since TSR Concrete Coatings damaged my mother's property. They have left her driveway in a rough, ground-down, and unfinished state while completely ignoring her follow-up calls. I strongly advise against using this company if you value your personal property, accountability, and basic reliability.

For years I've wanted to restore my antique bookcases. They are over one hundred years old, and as…read morea writer I treasure a good place to keep my collection of good books. I was apprehensive with who might be able to do justice and not ruin them. I took a shot with GKH furniture repair and restoration. I'd seen the reviews, and I now can say the reviews weren't exaggerated. When I first called Greg last November he was honest about the time fragment it would take. I unfortunately called during the holidays, which was not good. I later called in March, amd he told me then, sort of leveling with me that this sort of work takes time, like 4-6 months. It wasn't a bad wait and I was patient. The saying goes, "all good things come to those who wait," and it's true if you want a master to handle your antiques. I've sanded, stained wood before, and it's no easy task. It's a time-consuming endeavor, and I also didn't trust myself restoring antique bookcases. In retrospect the price was reasonable for the result. I now have an admirable place to keep my Ulysses, and restored bookcases my ancestors would be proud of.

I had used this company a few years ago for a quick repair on account of refinancing the house and…read morethe bank's inspector found wood rot. Fast forward and we are selling the house and decided to use this gentleman's company again. On the day I reached him he was out a few hours later to give a bid. He used a ladder. Many contractors don't, which is surprising. The following day the estimate was received. It's best to obtain several estimates. This company had provided quality work but they are extremely expensive. Yes, I've heard the saying "You get what you pay for." However, when estimates are priced based on line by line items instead of per project; it can become unclear if someone is trying to take advantage of a project or is providing a high bid because they are too busy to accept a new project. Make sure when hiring a contractor you purchase the materials for the identical cost that the contractor would have purchased them, too.

My antique wardrobe was delivered to McNary's with Dave's assurance he would repair and glue…read morejoints, strip, stain and varnish the piece. I provided the wood to replace door panels, and wood for shelving as he said he would install. Upon delivery, it was discovered the shelving was stained with haphazard application, requiring the removal, sanding, staining and reinstalling brackets for shelves on my time and dime! Upon further inspection the joints were not glued properly, the stain was thin and uneven, and the application of varnish was so thin scratch marks are easily made. Not even cheap furniture scratches so easily! This should not happen with multiple layers of varnish to protect the furniture. When questioned, Dave assured me there had been multiple layers of varnish applied which was obviously not true. If you have antique furniture to be restored I would not recommend NcNary's! I was and still am tremendously disappointed in their workmanship and integrity of their business dealings!
